Pride. A high or inordinate opinion of one's own dignity, importance, merit, or superiority, whether as cherished in the mind or as displayed in bearing, and conduct. Zen Vast had already experienced the hell of living with a demon sin inside of him; unable to control his own actions or find his own solace and peace. By a miracle, Zen had escaped his fate of living with the demon but as fate would have it; Zen was destined to be tangled with a demon again. This time, it was Pride. Honor Viper was a woman of an intimidating presence with fighting skills to match. Deep down however, there was much more to Honor than just brutal force, only she herself was confused and unsure of her own identity of a woman. Before the tangle with her own sin; she would tangle with a Firebird who was the first and only being to open her up to emotions and feelings that she never thought could be possible in her life. And even with the destined fate of a sin in her future; there was nothing that was going to rip her from the man she never knew she needed; but now deeply wanted.
I absolutely love this series. I look forward to each release. Zen is a freaking sweetheart. I enjoyed seeing his story unfold and learning more about the former king who preferred not to flex his abilities but didn’t hesitate to use them when needed, especially when it came to his mate. I can’t wait for Sloth. Now with that being said I will admit I was disappointed with the editing of this book. There were a lot of errors, something I’m not used to from this author. Thankfully it didn’t take away from the story but was distracting.
Pride had the devil thinking he could overthrow God, hence he fell.
“We can believe almost anything if it be necessary to protect our pride”
Zen is truly Zen. Cool as a cucumber and Honor was hot like Fire. What a pairing they made. Then add Pride to the mix - sheesh. Now that sin is a piece of work.
Pride had honor making a fatal and irreversible mistake. Had her believing her own hype so good that she got caught up in a savior complex. Now she’s stuck.
Zen had a bit of an awakening himself. Can’t throw stones when you live in a glass house! But he’s the only man for the job of loving Honor.
Pride keeps all them sins in check though, lol!
Enjoyed this read and getting to know Zen.
Now for sloth - laziness, apathy, idleness, maybe? Which characteristic will Jade hit us with?!?
These sins just keep getting better and I'm glad Zen has finally found a mate he has longed for after so many years. Honor was a warrior who carried her team well but she just needed someone to show her what it feels like to experience love and emotion. Pride was the perfect sin for Honor especially when she didn't feel as confident within herself. I love how Pride takes charge of the other sins when they get out of line. But its also funny how Zen has to check Pride at times when she gets ahead of herself. Can't wait for the next sin and what the new babies will be like when they finally arrive.
Coming into this book, I wasn’t that excited about the series. The last book disappointed me but this was definitely more comparable to the first two books. This book delivered on a strong female lead and I loved it! I usually enjoy the tie-ins from the previous books but I really didn’t like the characters from the last book so that dragged the book out a bit for me. I wish she got a random mate because he got on my last nerve!! But in the end, I was able to tolerate him better. Honestly, I enjoyed the sin Pride! It was the first one with a female twist to it and that really did it for me. I’m for sure reading the next book.
This book had entirely too many errors. “He” where there should have “she”, “you” where that should have been “your” etc. so many other errors as well it was ridiculous. This was also my least fav out of the current 4. I feel like we waited so long to finally get to the sin and then we didn’t have enough time with it. I’m still loving the series, but the errors have to go and although I wasn’t as in love with this one as I have been with the others, it was still a good read.
I am so in love with saga. This book absolutely did not disappoint. ***SPOILER ALERT***When my girl Honor came back to life at the IDEA that her mate would marry someone else I CACKLED!!! That had to be my favorite part from any of the books in the saga with Ashbel whooping Bourbon’s ass with his dick hanging out for the whole city to see coming up as a close second. Chef’s kiss, I love it all.
I thought zen had somehow changed the future @ first and pride would skip honor and was excited because she finally found her love. I disliked pride in the beginning and she had to grow on me because she wouldn’t let zen love honor how he wanted but I applaud zen on being patient and also coming to term with his past to accept her faults. And I’m so glad they got aurella!! She needed to go like yesterday
First, I want to say way to many typos. This story was way to good to not have a proofreader. I like the fact that Honor and Zen were more about intimacy. Zen was super patient with Honor and her lack of social skills. But it was refreshing having someone like Honor who was just honest, blunt, and simply put “you get what you get”. This is not your tearing up the sheets, kind of romance, but yet they share so much more as they connect as mates. Good job Jade!
This one hit close to home lol that pride is something else huh? Another unpredictable story - I love that. Seriously. But this grammar and incorrect pronoun use?? Please get these edited and updated - it makes me hesitate to recommend them. But 5 stars for the overall storytelling, plot and character development. Not many are capable of weaving something so strong.
While I asked for a female sin in one of my last reviews. I'm so glad you delivered.. Now this next sin could be male or is it another female??? I can't wait to find out.. The story - loved the unexpected world of the water and way of life so far you've touched all 4 elements so I'm trying to figure out sloth and how that is going to be played out.. Can't wait!
Listen.....pride was so relatable ,it was kind of scary but dope!! Honor was so relatable, to a strong single woman living in the now. I enjoyed every min reading this book. It takes a strong man to lead a strong woman, but an even stronger man to know when to be hard and when to be soft and Zen was it!!!
I'm really loving this series! I can't wait for the next both. I'm curious to see how "Sloth" is going to live up to the other sins!! Zen and Honor.... Two creatures from totally different worlds. Who would of thought they would be able to coexist? Great read!!! I hope we don't have to wait to long for the next book. I'm to excited.
I’m absolutely loving this Sin series. These sons are hilarious and really takes their mates through it. Well Pride is a different type of sin from the others, being that she is a female, but she seems to fit in right with them. Honor and Zen’s relationship is just so cute. Let’s see what Sloth has to offer.
A woman who is so fierce but awkward at the same time. I was thinking there is no way she holds the sin Pride but they way she gets the sin and how she bonds with her it’s no doubt.
Just like every book in this series I loved it. This was different from the others since pride was a woman but it made a really great twist. I can’t wait for the next part of the series. Very entertaining read. 🔥🔥🔥
Another sin book down, and they just keep getting better and better. I truly enjoyed this one because Honor was a strong female even before the demon sin Pride. Ready to go along with for another journey with the crew to find the next sin.
Cant wait for the next one I me some Honor waterland was a little different then the other ones I guess because its water 😂😂😂 I love this series like the ones, I've been checking kindle for the last couple of weeks waiting for this to drop 😂😂😂
Sis came through with this book. Honor is a baddie water dragon. She makes the men look weak. That sin pride don't be playing. I'm glad thet finally got the fairy but I thought we would get the birth of garg
Omg Zen is so sweet and passionate while Honor is strong blunt and socially challenged. I love they way he wanted her to learn her wants before giving herself to him. His patience with her was like no other. Loved it
Honor is no joke and Pride fell right in step. Or is that visa versa!! Great book. Your concept of the sins is amazing. Brilliant 💕 Can’t wait to read sloth’s story.
Wow, this was an amazing book. Was some errors but didn't take away from the story. Pride is something serious lol. I love how all of the sins go back and forth with each other. It's hilarious. I love these characters since the beginning of this series. Can't wait to see what sloth is up to.
It took me a minute to read this book because I didn't want it to end too soon. As always Jade did not disappoint. Zen is definitely a man worth having. I don't think there's anyone that could have handled honor the ways Zen did. I think we all have a little Pride in us. I can't wait to read Sloth.
Grammatical errors and typos aside, this is a very creative series. I can't wait for the next one. I really like the characters and hope to see their story continued in the upcoming installment.
I love zen and honor they are just soo cute I love as much as I love all the other couples!! Their story took a lot of patience!! I cried at some parts!! I ready for Sloth now!
It took me awhile to get used to what was going on in this book I'm not going to lie I stopped a couple of times but must have got together it was excellent well done Miss Jade you have not read all the books you need to start reading these books as good
I find putting myself in the female character position mind set allows me to live in this amazing fantasy world. Can’t wait to read sloth…. Thank you for allowing us to explore your creativity!
