Oh my God. I loved this. Finally, a DP hero hoisted by his own petard i.e. his own stupid ability to jump to the wrong conclusion. Every. Single. Time. I mean this guy doesn’t get ANYTHING right. Even the other alpha DP dumb-dumbs roll their eyes over his stupidity about the heroine.

The heroine has loved the H for ever. Why? I don’t know. He has had nothing for contempt for her since she married a close friend of his and filed for divorce a month later. Shortly after his friend died in an offshore drilling incident (Texas baby) and it’s all her fault. Let’s ignore the fact that working as an offshore driller is one of THE most dangerous jobs in the world which is why they are paid so well.

Then, yesterday, I told her how I felt about her careless attitude toward the divorce only a month after she married John, and letting him go off to get himself killed on an oil rig.” His broad shoulders rose and fell defeatedly. “I shouldn’t have said it, but I was angry that she’d tried to make me jealous, as if she thought I might actually feel attracted to her.”

He sighed. “I thought she was so hard that nothing I said would faze her.”

“And I thought I used to be blind,” Corrigan said. Simon glanced at him, scowling.

“What do you mean?”

Corrigan looked at his brother and tried to speak. Finally he just smiled faintly and turned away. “Forget it.”

Duh.

She's at the hospital, why I don't recall.

Dr. Gaines came out. He spotted the two men down the hall and joined them.

“Don’t go back in there,” he told Simon flatly. “She’s too close to the edge already. She doesn’t need you to push her the rest of the way.”

“I didn’t do a damned thing,” Simon shot back, and now he looked dangerous, “except walk in the door!”

Dr. Gaines’s lips thinned. He glanced at Corrigan, who only shrugged and shook his head. “I’m going to try to get her to go to a friend of mine, a therapist. She could use some counseling,” Gaines added.

“She’s not a nutcase,” Simon said, affronted.

Dr. Gaines looked into that cold, unaware face and frowned. “You were state attorney general for four years,” he said. “You’re still a well-known trial lawyer, an intelligent man. How can you be this stupid?”

I don’t know Doc? It’s a mystery to me too.

He learns that she has had crush on him after the so-called suicide attempt. She was actually trying to shoot a mouse like John Wayne did in True Grit, but got drunk on whiskey. Everyone prefers the story that she tried to commit suicide over her unrequited love for the hero which frankly is much more plausible.

The H’s reaction
Simon’s eyes burned with anguish. “You don’t know what I said to her, though. I accused her of killing John, of being so unconcerned about his happiness that she let him go into a dangerous job that he didn’t have the experience to handle.” His face twisted. “I said that she was shallow and cold and selfish, that I had nothing but contempt for her and that I’d never let a woman like her get close to me….”

His eyes closed. “Dear God, how it must have hurt her to hear that from me.”

Corrigan let out a savage breath. “Why didn’t you just load the gun for her?”

Probably because he didn’t think of it.

Never fear. It’s still all about him.

Simon rested his forehead against his one hand. He was so drained that he could barely function. It had been the worst day of his life; in some ways, worse than the wreck that had cost him everything.

Dumb-dumb takes the evil OW that hates the heroine to a party where evil OW is very, very mean. Proving that the evil OW is yet another character who is smarter than the H she does this when he’s not around. The h’s very nice and very cute guy friend, who has his own unrequited love thing going on for his SIL, steps up to the plate.

“Why, you prissy little cat,” Charles said with cold venom, making Jill actually catch her breath in surprise at the unexpected verbal jab.

“Why don’t you go sharpen your claws on the curtains?”

Meow and yeah!!!

The couple finally get to grope and once again….

At least she hadn’t seen him helpless like this. If she knew how vulnerable he was, she might feel like a little revenge. He couldn’t blame her, but his pride wouldn’t stand it. She might decide to seduce him and then keep him dangling. That would be the cruelest blow of all, when he knew she was Charles Percy’s lover.

No. She’s not. She’s a virgin, you boob.

He’d never known an exchange so heated, so erotic. He wanted to do things to and with her that he’d never dreamed of doing to a woman in his life.

What? Really, what? DP, don’t stop now.

Side note: Only in a Diana Palmer book would people leave a Christmas party BECAUSE the punch was spiked. Smh

They have finally have sex on page 140, but I just know his stupid gene is going to trigger again before it’s all over.

And finally, a wordsmith he is not. Talking about one of his almost but not quite as dense brothers.

“He’s never been in love,” Simon murmured, staring at his feet. “He doesn’t have a clue what it’s like to want someone so bad that it makes you sick.”

You romantic. Forget red roses. Nothing says "I love you" like being compared to vomit.

Why did I end up liking this?

_The story is cliched:
Virgin widow is misunderstood by the hero who slut shames her in his mind for years until he unloads his disgust on her. Heroine's secret is that

_The minor characters are numerous and insufferable. I still don't get why the biscuit obsession is charming - it's just weird.

_The writing is clunky.
_The secrets are obvious.
_The OW is predictable.
_The hero is a dog-in-the -manager about heroine (He doesn't want her, but she shouldn't be happy with anyone else while he parades around the OW.)
_Heroine has no pride.
_H/h are impossibly talented. Heroine sells almost all of her sculptures at her first showing after taking a refresher course at the community college. Hero is weighing the invite to be Attorney General of Texas.

But I still liked it! The power of DP compels me or something.

Or maybe I can relate to the battle of the mouse. After hero tells her what he thinks of her, the heroine is found drunk in bed with an empty prescription bottle and a shotgun in her arms. The housekeeper thinks she was trying to commit suicide. The heroine was not used to alcohol and was tired of not catching the mouse so she decided to shoot it. LOL

Beautiful story of unrequited love. Tira has been in love with Simon for years but he was married and he was also attracted to her but he didn't want to risk his marriage so he pushed her away and matched her with his best friend. Now they are both widowed, scarred and lonely. But from their tragedies comes true love.

I adored Tira. She really is a great person who is very loving and compassionate, and I was rooting for her to get her happy ending. Simon was a hard but vulnerable man and it was really great to see how a woman with Tira's personality was able to get underneath his skin. I was even emotional during the ending cause the epilogue was just swoon-worthy.

Diana Palmer at her best.
No spy story here or narchos or ex ops or ex mercs or what else.
Only the story of two very stupid persons.
And too much time wasted. That is the reason why I didn't give 4 stars.
It would have been 4 stars for the angst.
The heroine has been in love with him for 8 years.
And it's been 8 wasted years that I can't forgive them both.
Because I can understand that a teenager keeps her love hidden as a shameful secret, but a grown up woman, a woman who has been married and divorced, should not spend so much time pining on a big a** that never even sees her as a woman.
And the hero?
He's a widower, his late wife was a cheater and a sadist, and he thinks the heroine caused his friend's death.
How?
I don't know.
Usual illogic thinking of DP's heroes.
She married his friend, then divorced him after one month, he left for an oil rig and three years later on an accident. So? Where's the heroine's guilt in all this?
He hates her and despises her because he thinks his friend was distraught for his divorce, but he didn't ask him.
Then, 8 years later, eventually, the heroine is tired of following the hero like a sick puppy and of being kicked every time she gets near him, and I say, thank god! It's high time!
No, it's much too late!
The hero, since he has the usual DP IQ, that is much lower than usual already low HP's standard hero IQ, Doesn't understand why she's avoiding him all of a sudden.
The man is almost forty. Ok, he had an accident and was badly injured, and maybe he lost some brain tissue together with his left arm, because he can't see what's under his nose.
But the heroine has her faults too.
You play happy friends with the man you're in love with, then you're surprised when he friendzones you?
Back to 1999 this word wasn't yet invented but it sums up perfectly what happened to the poor heroine.
Yes, she was friendzoned. And everybody knows that it's a thing that happens to teenagers- usually- because they are too shy and insecure to expose themselves.
But she's 28!
Why the hell did she wait 8 years without telling him she was in love with him?
She should have been more upfront. What did she have to lose?
At least she would have known what he really thought of her.
That is, he misunderstood her completely.
-He didn't understand she was in love with him
-He didn't knew that his friend was gay, and after one month he asked her for a divorce. She wasn't guilty, she was a victim.
So they wasted all the best years of their lives because of a Big Stupid Misunderstanding.
Ok, when he realizes what a demented fool he's been he tries to make it up to her because he -finally- can let his feelings for her free, feelings he's always had but never dared trust since he was first married, then he believed the heroine was just like his late wife.
Really, 8 years is a lot for two people who should be mature enough not to play games.
Whatever.
The book is basically a long grovel, a grovel who is as usual in DP not good enough or smooth enough because the hero is too stupid and too weak to do things properly.
He keeps on making false assumption about the heroine.
He goes out with a woman too mean and nasty, who hates the heroine, only to make the heroine jealous.
But I loved the angst.
And the lil mouse story.
And the hangover mistaken for an attempted suicide.
I recommend it to all DP fans, who prefer her non-mistery books.

This is one of my all time favorites by Diana Palmer. What can I say, I love a hero that has scars or has lost an arm or something. Simon lost his arm. He's also a bit grumpy and withdrawn. He is helplessly drawn to socialite Tira who is bright and beautiful, but he doesn't want to be. And Tira has been in love with Simon for years. She is hanging out with Charles for companionship, but Simon mistakes this as a sexual relationship and perceives Tira in a negative light because of. Nevertheless he wants her desperately. I loved all the longing and unfulfilled passions between them. I also love the way that they come together as they realize that a future without each other is not a future worth living, and thus work together resolve their issues. As I have said many times, Diana Palmer knows how to tell a love story. FYI this is part of the series of books about the Callaghan brothers. All are must reads.

-------------------
He was handsome enough even with only one arm—he had thick, wavy black hair on a leonine head, with dark eyebrows and pale gray eyes. He was tall and well built, a dynamo of a man;

His wife had died in the accident that took his arm. It had happened just after Tira's marriage to John Beck. Tira had nursed him in the hospital, and gossip had run rampant.

But secretly, he despised her for what she'd done to John.

It was like the end of am era for him. First he'd lost Melia, his wife, and his arm; now he'd lost John, too.

She was always flamboyant, vivacious, outgoing and mercurial.
She was tall, beautiful, with long, glorious red-gold hair that went to her waist, pale green eyes and a figure right out of a fashion magazine. She could have been a model, but she was surprisingly shy for a pretty woman.

Simon would never have admitted that he threw Tira together with John to get her out of his own circle and out of the reach of temptation.

She'd only wanted to attend the auction because she knew Simon Hart was going to be there.

Charles was hopelessly in love with his brother's wife. She was the only person who knew that. Many people thought that she and Charles were lovers, which amused them both.

"I've been in an odd mood for years. Not that I ever expect you to notice."

His wife had been his whole heart, until that last night when she betrayed a secret that destroyed his pride and his love for her.
...she'd married him for money and kept a lover in the background.

Her lack of commitment to her marriage and her cavalier attitude about the divorce had made him uneasy.

He and Tira had become casual friends, but nothing more, he made sure of it.

When was she ever going to learn that Simon didn't want her?

Her first step was to sell the Montana property.
She moved out of her apartment that was only a couple of blocks from Simon's, too, and bought an elegant house on the outskirts of town on the Floresville Road .
The rest of the house followed the same subdued elegance of style and color. It denoted a person who was introverted, sensitive and old-fashioned. Which, under the flamboyant camouflage, Tira really was.

"In the long run, that's probably the best thing you could have done," Dorie said quietly. "You're still young and very pretty," she added with a smile. "And the world is full of men."

"You didn't give a damn about John. You divorced him a month after the wedding and never seemed to care if you saw him again or not. Barely a week later, you were keeping company with Charles Percy."
I never realized what a shallow, cold woman you were until then. Everything you are is on the outside,"
"Glorious hair, a pretty face, sparkling eyes, pretty figure...and nothing under it all. Not even a spark of compassion or love for anyone except yourself."

The next morning, the housekeeper she'd hired, Mrs. Lester, found her sprawled across her bed with a loaded pistol in her hands and an empty whiskey bottle lying on its side on the stained gray carpet.

"I was just a little depressed, that's all. I found out yesterday that Simon holds me responsible for John's death."

"Yes, I know, I'm a murderess." His face went taut. "I didn't say that!" "You might as well have!"

"I'm not even surprised to see you with Jill, Simon. She's as opinionated and narrow-minded as you are, and she knows how to put the knife in, too. I daresay you're a match made in heaven!"

He was giving aid and comfort to Tira's worst enemy in the city. He'd done it deliberately, of course, to make her even more uncomfortable. But that was before he knew the whole truth. Now he felt guilty.

She whimpered as she felt the full force of his mouth, felt the kiss she'd dreamed of for so many years suddenly becoming reality.
"Lucky Charles," he said gruffly. "Is that what he gets?" Her eyes flashed at him. "You get out of here!"

Jill called and invited herself to lunch with him, fishing for clues to his unusual bad humor. He mumbled something about going to the opera and having an argument with Tira, but offered no details at all.

He was even more irritated by Jill's interference. He'd made a bad mistake there, taking out Tira's worst enemy. He'd been depressed and Jill was good company, but it would have to stop.

"I don't have affairs, Simon." "Of course you do, darling," he drawled with barely concealed jealousy. "What else do you have with Charles Percy?"

She wept silently at the reality of intimacy. It wasn't glorious fireworks of ecstasy at all. It was just a painful way to give a man pleasure. She hated him. She hated herself more for giving in.

"You must be the only twenty-eight-year-old virgin in Texas ," he murmured, and he wasn't joking. His eyes were solemn. "Did you save it for me, all these years?"

"I haven't had a woman since Melia died. I dated Jill, but we were never intimate."

Last night it had seemed right and beautiful. This morning it seemed sordid and she felt cheap.

"Must run, dear," Jill said quickly. "I have to get home to Simon. Hope the party's a great success. See you!"

"I love you," she whispered sleepily. He drew in a shaky breath. "I noticed."

Ok so I really loved this book but really 10 years that's crazy. I don't understand that part. He was damaged inside and out and she still stayed faithful to his side til she got smart and I really like when she gives him hell in the hospital. About time sister. He did not deserve her. After He understood about her gay hubby then he loves her? What? But somehow it worked for me. Also he was one passionate lover! The lovemaking was smoking hot! 5 star for sure.

I really enjoyed this one. There was a good amount of angst and misunderstandings but at the same time such an amazing redemption arc along with the passionate sweet chemistry of the leads. One of my favorite DP works so far.

I must admit I had a lot of fun reading this book, at least in the beginning. All the characters were truly ridiculous in a funny sort of way.
It's my second book by Diana Palmer, but I have a feeling she has an MO: hero and heroine are secretly in love but, due to certain misunderstandings, the hero thinks badly of the heroine. Not only that, he acts pretty horrendously towards her, too. Then he finds out the truth (that the heroine isn't as bad as he'd thought), he's miserable, then he fights to win the heroine.
This story follows the same outline, but the heroine in this one is pretty cool: when the story opens, she's had enough pining for the hero so she starts moving on with her life. Which throws the hero off.
She holds on to her position for a long time, too, makes the hero work for it.
What I also liked is that the hero remained celibate.
(There are some things that are a bit outdated and I was surprised to see this book was first published in 1998. I was expecting it to have been published in the 1970s, at the very least, due to some of the antiquated ideas.)

this was an emotional tearjerker and will not suit everyone's tastes ! tira made a fool of herself over simon. the entire town seemed aware of her unrequited feelings apart simon. she was very miserable and depressed. she had loved him for years while he felt only contempt for her and at best tolerated her. she yearned for his affection; made herself present in his orbit, trying 2 grasp his attention/ develop a relationship which was not to be! it was all so heartbreaking and depressing!! i felt really very bad for her! simon worked hard at re gluing the pieces of her broken heart. it took some time to make her whole again. she suffered so much dat she cud not believe her good fortune or simon's change of heart. he had misjudged her tremendously and i dun't know if he cud actually redeem himself. in the book, he did. but for me, he did not deserve her! i cannot get over how bad i felt in the beginning!

Own in: The Hart Brothers: Simon & Callaghan

Diana Palmer books are a little nostalgic as I read many of her books when I was younger. I picked up a few at yard sales to read again. Simon exhibited quite a bit of dislike toward Tira to cover his interest in her after he had already married. He set her up with his best friend to remove her from his temptation. After a brief time together, Tira divorces and Simon blames her for the hurt inflicted on his bff. The cat and mouse game begins with Simon disliking Tira but putting on a social face. Eventually he tells her what he thinks of her; she is hurt; truths are revealed.

I liked this one when I was younger, however, it does not hold the same appeal as it once did. 2 stars.

Why do I do this to myself? Clearly I'm a masochist at heart.

Hero gets married. Pushes heroine to his best friend. They get married. But hark! What's this? Her husband is (shh... gay). So he goes to work on an oil rig, as you do. And dies.

Now there's a virgin widow and a Hero who hates her because she somehow killed his best friend. Oh. And his wife was a nasty piece of work and died in a car crash. AND now the hero has one arm.

There's a lot of angsty angst. Hero is friendly with heroine. Then he hates her. Then he kisses her. Then flaunts OW in front of her.

AND

Heroine has a boyfriend-of-convenience who's in love with his 1/2 brother's wife.

This book has more tangles than Jacobsville has mercenaries.

Eventually everything gets unknotted and all receive HEAs.

2.5. This is the one where 28-year-old virgin heroine (a widow) fainted after having sex with the 40-year-old not-virgin-hero (a widower) because it was soooo good or he was sooo big or, she was sooo... no, this was just unbelievable.

Hero and heroine have been friends for years, h desperately in love with him and always making up ways to be with him. Hero has low opinion of h and tells her awful things. Started out good with heroine having enough of pining after hero and decided to turn around her life and cut him out. Yay h!
But then the book went downhill, H starts chasing h and she just folds. She gets immediately pregnant after 1 night AND she knows she’s pregnant after a week or two because milkshake (?!? idk but this was somehow significant and self explanatory).
This book did not age well.

Love, truth, betrayal

Simon Hart- ex Attorney General, well thought of lawyer, monied, participates in different charities, was married, he thought happily, until one night his wife told him she’d had an abortion (did want to lose her figure) and she had other lovers and didn’t even know if the child would have been his – and in ea moment of distraction, he hit black ice, slid, hit a tree, and his unseatbelted wife went through portion window and died, and he lost his arm from the elbow down. He had pushed his best friend John into marrying Tira as she was a temptation to him… and she divorced him a month later… John went to Alaska and died in an accident… and he defensively blamed Tira. Over the next 3 years, he is cordial to her, but keeps his emotional distance.

John Beck – attorney, good looking, rich, friend of Simon… and gay. Tried to love Tira, but couldn’t, so he got a divorce in her name, and left for Alaska… and died.

Tira Beck – beautiful, classy, outgoing, well off due to her father’s money. She has loved Simon for 6 years… and after his wife’s death, and her divorce, she tries to maximize when she would be where he was, and built quite a nice fantasy around him… She is friends with Ciff, a rich man who loves his sister in law… and the two show up together to protect one another, and most think they are lovers. Summary:
Poor Simon can’t get a handle on his feelings for Tira – he blames her for John’s death, he doesn’t want to be attracted to her, yet he misses her when she isn’t where he expects. He drops by her house when it’s been a bit of time since he’s seen her, and the poison spews out, as he tells her all the negatives he feels about her … she gets drunk, plays with the John Wayne method of getting rid of mice by taking out a gun, and passes out… and when the housekeeper finds her the next morning – and sees the empty bottle, an empty bottle of pills in the bathroom (they’ve been empty for a long time), and the gun, she calls 911… the news pick up the story, and her attempted suicide hits the news. Simon is compelled to check on her, and she hysterically insists he leave her room.

Some meetings up… and he shows up at her sculpture showing (with her enemy, who makes snide remarks to her)… and he finds out from John’s father that John was gay and he was the one to insist on the divorce… this shakes Simon up… and he rethinks things.

So he makes attempts to connect with her… they finally end up in bed… and he finds out she is a virgin… he hasn’t made love to a woman since his wife (partly her betrayal, partly his prosthesis) she finds outa few more hiccups… and then they live happily ever after.

yak kalo ini novel jadulnya lanjut ke DP yaaa

buku ttg hart brother nih....

simon hart, mengalami kecelakaan hingga kehilangan sebelah tangannya, tapi kalo dibaca sih walo kehilangan sebelah tangan tapi dia tetep jd pujaan wanita.

begonya lagi si simon untuk bikin Tara tambah sakit hati eh dia deketin si ceweq genit sapa tuh namanya yg sejak dulu jd rival abadinya si Tara.
jadilah tara makin menjauh darinya.

tp giliran waktu tara masuk rumah sakit dengan dugaan mencoba bunuh diri eh si simon kalang kabut.
duh geer amat masa simon ngira gara2 dia tara mencoba bunuh diri.
plissss deh......

dah gitu gitu tara menjauh dari dia & menghindarinya eh giliran si simon yg balik ngejar2 ga tau malu
si simon pede amat mengira tara akan menerimanya kembali
hhhhhhhhh over pede

nah ada adegan lucu nih
waktu si tara & simon baru menikmati waktu berdua di bedroom eh kakak beradik hart tiba2 masuk nyelnonong gitu aja
ngeliat tara & simon seranjang langsung tanpa banyak cang cing cung ceng cong nodong simon untuk menikahi tara.....
yaelahhhhhh

yahhhhhh novel2 DP sebenarnya bagus2 kok
layak dikoleksilah......

Irmãos Harts 02
Sempre Te Amei
Diana Palmer.

E a cena do camundongo no final é ótima, hilária.

Recomendadíssimo!!!

ADORO!!!

Wonderful as always

Tira has been in love with Simon Hart since the first time she set eyes on him. Simon being a Hart gets Tira's true character all wrong and assumes that she is loose with her morals. Sparks fly everytime they are in the same room. Absolutely loved it!

#2 in the Hart series. The oldest Hart brother’s story(he is less fascinated by biscuits, which is a good thing since the heroine in the story is not a cook!) So this is part of my read all the Hart brother’s stories in order marathon weekend, and now I need to write a review. Yet there are really so many good reviews out there already, that I doubt I can add anything significant to them. I think this could be my favorite of the 5 stories as I feel there is more angst in this one. Plus the unstoppable mouse is a hoot!

Simon the hero has lusted over the heroine for awhile, however, he was married when they first came into each other’s orbit. So what is one to do🤔? 🙋🏻‍♀️ get your best friend and the girl you are lusting over together so then you won’t be Tempted anymore. You my sir are not a cheater!

Tira has loved Simon forever! She lets herself be led into a marriage with the friend, because if she can’t have Simon she might as well make do. Unfortunately the marriage lasted less than a month. While she was in the process of divorcing the husband, Simon was in a car accident with his wife which took her life and his arm. The people in the town thought Tira’s marriage broke up over her infatuation with Simon. Then her husband ends up getting killed after taking a dangerous job to get out of town. He wrote letters to Simon saying how unhappy he was. Simon blames the h for the death of her husband as she is obviously a tarty mctartlet as evidenced by her constant companion Charles Percy (who is actually in love with his brother’s wife). (Everyone take a drink!)
Ok here is the real scoop….

So our h continues to throw herself in the path of the Hero by signing up for the same committees etc. She flirts with him and makes innuendos. However, he holds a lot of disdain for her. She doesn’t realize the depth of his bitterness for her. Plus, he does still have yearnings for her, and he seems to have some back and forth conversations with her that could at least make it seem as though they are friends. Finally, (the book moves quick, because chapter 1 isn’t even done yet) The h decides she needs a clean a break. She sells her property, apartment, and moves across town. She declines to be part of anything that involves the H and takes up sculpting again. A gallery in town wants to show her sculptures(unbeknownst to her the H is part owner) and she agrees as long as profits go to a charity. After finishing a sculpture of Simon(oops, that was an accident) the doorbell rings and Simon is there. She is cold to him, not even allowing him in or offering him a beverage. This is the part where one wants to slap the H. It seems although he detests the “tarty” h, he hates being cut out of her life.
She doesn’t want him to know that he is the reason for her drastic turn around, so to save face she says being around him brings up too many memories of her marriage. And now our Heroine’s world is about to be turned upside down…… The H scoffs at her and her affection for her marriage, and lets her know what he really thinks of her. To say she is stunned is an understatement. He basically calls her a pretty but shallow empty person. I mean he unloads it(which in other DP books, usually the h has to hear the hero’s comments accidentally).

“You never said a word,” she said in a haunted tone, “In all these years.”

“I didn’t think it needed saying,” he said simply. “We’ve been friends of a sort. I hope we still are.”(WTF?) He smiled but it didn’t reach his eyes. “As long as you realize that you will never be allowed within striking distance of my heart. I’m not a masochist even if John was.”

She passed by him to go on the porch. He follows her out. She then turns to go back inside bolting the door on him, as he yells for her outside. She is found the next day, passed out gun in hand. End Scene, and end chapter 1.

Like I said awesome reviews out there that will give you lots more details, but I am going to end here. The rest of the chapters will include town gossips and headlines, vacation time with the om, evil ow’s, groveling, misunderstandings cleared up, then more misunderstandings, and more groveling… and the crazy biscuit loving brothers planning another wedding, not to mention fainting and snakes.

Yes this was definitely my favorite of the Hart brothers.
