Some women inspire men. Bring out emotions. There's only one way Nadia Quint makes me feel.Grumpy.I'm serious when I say she's drop dead gorgeous. The kind of girl that you can't forget, even if you try.But hell, even if I managed to forget that body. No way I'm gonna forget that mouth. But she's got some attitude to her, this one.No man can stand in her way if she's angry. No man...except me.We'll fight. And it'll be messy. But I have no choice. She makes me vibrate with desire and a sick need to be near her.Yet she still fights her body and heart. But it's okay. It doesn't matter.Because even if she hates me right now.I know I'll love her forever. She's frustrating. Infuriating. And she's mine.Well, she's gonna be.She just doesn't know it yet. That's right, ladies.Mr. Grumpy is in love. Those snarls are gonna be for something else now...
this was adorable sweet and fast paced.. kept me reading until the end.. i couldnt put it down. i really liked it and the characters were just so much fun and such an interesting plot.
I admit I was drawn in by the title. I love grumpy guys. Love them. So I was a bit disappointed when there was no grumpy guy to be found. The main male character Kevin was a delight! He was happy and sweet and was often confused by the main female character Nadia. I was confused by Nadia as well. I absolutely loved her at first when she and Kevin met for the first time. The scene was so cute and steamy and funny. Loved it! Then she morphed into someone else. I definitely understand the need for conflict and conflict resolution in stories, but Nadia was the queen of misunderstandings. Anytime anything bad happened, she suspected Kevin was behind it. Why??? When Kevin had been nothing but sweet, funny, caring, hot, hardworking, playful, and wonderful to her.
Also, this was purported to be an enemies to lovers trope. They were never enemies. If anything, Nadia was the reason that there were miscommunications. She never wanted to open up to Kevin about anything and if she thought he did something that she didn’t like or that she would get upset about, she would ghost him and pout like a child.
I loved the playfulness between the main characters. The antagonist was someone you love to hate. I didn’t understand all of Nadia’s motivations for the things she did. There were some things that were alluded to have happened in the past that I didn’t fully understand.
Overall, I’m glad I read the story. I enjoyed it. There were just some things that bothered me.

This is a enemies to lovers story about Kevin who finally gets back to architectural work and hits the ground running with a large deal. He is responsible for entering them for the night and he hires a catering company and the new client loves the food and evening. When a co-worker sees a beautiful woman, Nadia he corners her and Kevin knows some is up and goes to rescue her. Nadia is the caterer and Kevin takes her to a room to be together and then they part ways. Nadia had a bad breakup and put herself in a bad place and is slowly recovering and found a love to reach cooking instead of owning a restaurant. One night Kevin’s brother invites him over and his wife also invites her friends trying to be a match maker. When Kevin and Nadia see one another there are misunderstandings that sets off several events working against them. They go back and forth with their unbelievable attraction and those out to cause mayhem for them. When they finally see what’s going on will they have time to turn decisions made against them for the better good? I really enjoy a book which has drama and misunderstandings but in a more comical way. Nadia hates men (she had her heart broken recently) and she tries to have Kevin too but...
I really liked the story and the dialogues are so funny. It's a slow- paced story with both the characters' POV.
*Spoilers*
I don't know why but the following phrase sums up the book. A lot of misunderstandings but in the end what stands out is the characters' mutual attraction. “He’s been supportive and kind... Unforgettable, really. He’s the reason for my fury and hurt right now, but he’s also the first person I want to call.”
When there is a misunderstanding about Kevin getting involved in the sale of the building where Nadia does lessons. Nadia thinks it's his fault and refuses to talk to him. Later he shows up and to make her listen he brings her favourite dessert, pavlova. She starts talking to her but Nadia ... instead of listening to him or even arguing, she keeps staring at the pavlova. I don't know. I just keeping playing this scene on my head and it's so hilarious.

This is a very entertaining story. Nadia has been through a lot with her scuzzy ex boyfriend, he was abusive and really killed her self esteem. Nadia can cook and is working for a caterer. Kevin is a great character and I really like him. He hires Nadia to cater a business function, and he rescues her from an unwanted advance on her by a coworker. Kevin and Nadia hit it off and have a one nighter, no names just the one night. Fate intervenes and they are both invited to his brother's house for dinner, so they meet again. There is some drama and misunderstandings that need to be addressed. The attraction was there and you could almost feel it coming off the pages, this is a wonderfully written story. I was hooked from the beginning. The characters are great the story was wonderful, and this is a great book.

What a bumpy relationship. Nadia is struggling to come back from a cheating boy-friend and an embarrassment on TV. Catering a party for a business gathering she meets Kevin, an architect and spends an incredible night with him. He looks so much like the picture of the brother of her best friend’s husband. A picture and man she has long been intrigued with and wanting to meet. But he’s in the real estate business so Kevin can’t be him. Or so she though until she meets him a few days later at her best friend’s house. But their romance is a rocky one with misconceptions, a jealous ex, and a jealous co-worker. Both who want to ruin Nadia and Kevin. Bot their professional lives and their personal lives. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review..
This was such a great read! Kevin and Nadia were awesome! They met while Nadia was catering a business party Kevin held for a client and had instant chemistry. They met again when Kevin's brother had a house party and his wife was good friends with Nadia. They had a lot of misunderstandings that kept popping up between them that they had to work through that Nadia's insecurities didn't help. Katie was definitely helpful through it all! She was great! Loved the characters and the storyline was awesome! Very sweet, romantic, funny, and plenty of steam! Very enjoyable read that I highly recommend! Received arc and am voluntarily leaving an honest review
Okay, so I ended up with an ARC of the book. I haven't ARC'd before (nor read these authors) so I had no idea what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised! The characters were undeniably sweet, their personalities come through very well. There are enough incidents with the protagonists to get your haunches up but not enough to make you uncomfortable. You fully feel like you are cheering for Nadia and Kevin (Nadia who doesn't want to have feelings, and Kevin who is helplessly developing his own). The character of Katie is especially adorable. This was a casual 'good feelings' read that makes you smile all the way through. I can't wait to see what these authors write next.
Kevin's architectural firm just landed a huge deal and he's the lead architect. So he sets up a catered event to celebrate with the new clients. Nadia is a chef turned caterer and hates these types of events. She knows she needs to network, but she always feels out of place. She doesn't know how she's going to escape the drunk slimeball without causing a scene when she is rescued by the most gorgeous man.
I loved this book. Nadia and Kevin may have been sabotaged several times, but they were able to figure things out. The book is steamy hot from the minute they meet. I highly recommend this book!

If you like enemy to lovers romances you'll love this book. This is Nadia and Kevin's story. This is a really fun read that's hard to put down once you begin. Fate brings them together when she is the caterer for his company's event. The attraction is instant and they definitely have chemistry that's explosive. Roadblocks keep popping up to keep them apart but love wins in the end. The characters are likable but Nadia does have some insecurities which slow up their relationship. The book has a lot of humor and cute banter. Some good secondary characters.I read a free advance copy via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review it.
Good romance with a lot of twists The story is rather tender, (except with the heroine's ex), full of misunderstandings, of unspoken things that parasitize the characters. The way they meet is unconventional, and their relationship full of rebounds. Kevin is an architect and Nadia is a chef. They meet on a night out, remain anonymous until they both meet in the same circle of friends. But they are at a turning point in their life after a failure, and their past professional and personal situations quickly plague a possible relationship. Nadia is a chef who is catering a party when she meets Kevin Breckinridge, an architect. One of them has a nasty ex and the other has an even nastier co-worker. I thought Kevin would be grumpy from the title but he wasn’t. I think you need to read the story about Monica and Kent first. The beginning of the book talked about Katie and Monica but their story wasn’t as developed as it should have been to be a stand alone. I enjoyed the interactions between Nadia and Kevin. I loved Katie. She was bubbly. There were some intimate scenes that were well written. I recommend this book. 4.5 stars

Hmm, I didn’t find Kevin as grumpy as the title implied. This mad romp with struggling sweet chef Nadia and up and coming Architect Kevin had so many misunderstandings and interferences that it took the focus off of the main couple’s steamy attraction. Every time Mark and Jasper entered the scene, I cringed with their irritating behavior which resulted in frustrating reactions from Nadia and Kevin. The main couple’s actual romance was risky, immediate and over the top. I thought the drama created by Mark and Jasper messed with the momentum and flow of their relationship.

This is my first read by this author. I really enjoyed the book. The storyline grabbed my right at the beginning and kept me hooked till the end. The characters of Nadia and Kevin were fun together. She's just left a bad relationship where her ex eroded her self confidence and her trust in men is out the door. Kevin ends up saving Nadia from a drunk and that's the start of a very shaky relationship. They have lots of obstacles to dodge but they keep moving forward. It was a fun read and great to watch Nadia coming back into her own. I was all in with this couple getting their HEA. This book was absolutely fantastic and it will have you hooked from the beginning until the end and the storyline flowed throughout the book. I absolutely loved Nadia and Kevin and how well they connected and fought their chemistry and desires but you can't fight fate. Kevin is an architect and hires Nadia and her kids to help cook food for his party but mark and Kevin are competing for ceo but when the company buys the building will they destroy and tear it down and destroy Nadia dreams or will Kevin be able to save it in time

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. She focuses of her food now instead of relationships and men. At least that was her past, because now the sparks are flying between her and Kevin. These two cannot catch a break from the drama thrown their way. I thought that they had a lot of chemistry and were perfect for each other. They have a lot of obstacles in the path to a happy future together.

Kevin hires Nadia for his event so he can impress his business associates. They loved her foods but while she’s there a unwanted individual cornered her and Kevin saved her. They attraction is felt. Later unbeknown to each they will meet again and she is unsettled with her confidence is low and she’s not trusting anyone. I love the chemistry and the banter which has them getting close yet drama will step in their way. A fun read!

Usually when you see the word "grumpy" it is associated with the male ... not here. The "headline" says it all for me. The "chemistry" between our leading characters is off the charts, which also leads to some very dramatic moments (drama). Being influenced by so many outside sources lead to explosive issues before all facts come to light. I found this to checked many of my boxes for a good read and will check this author again. You like it steamy and dreamy...then read on.

I’m so in love with this book. It ticked all of my boxes! It was just PERFECTION!!
Ellie Rowe romances are so delicious, so entertaining and so addictive, a good night sleep isn’t even an option.....I’m so in love with this book. It ticked all of my boxes. I laughed. I swooned. I felt all the feels. It was just PERFECTION!! What more could you ask for!! Other than the next book that is lol you definitely need this book at the top of your TBR library!! Happy reading!!
Nadia finds herself doubting her self-worth and feeling like a failure thanks to an ex, and when she meets Kevin, she starts to believe in herself again. Nadia is a chef / caterer who Kevin hires for an event, and the chemistry between them is explosive. This is a good story which is fast paced, sweet, humorous, entertaining, and is a steamy read. I was intrigued throughout and look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.
ONE INTENSE READ!!! Whoa! Fast and furious is definitely the way to go. Yep, talk about falling hard. I do not even know where to begin. I thought the last book was fantastic. Again, this is an unexpected delight in itself. I know, I cannot make up my mind. So, choose them all. You cannot go wrong here, trust me on that. This is a page-turner, smooth flowing wild ride with all the thrills and explosions you can handle.
Nadia has an abusive ex who destroyed her self worth so when she meets Kevin she starts feeling good about herself again. I loved the way the author brought these two together and how perfect they were for each other. They each have their demons but when they are together the sparks are flying. I enjoyed reading this book and I was cheering Kevin and Nadia on to get their happily ever after. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
It was a good read and had some funny moments but I really got annoyed with the h I honestly felt she was being dramatic most of the time and found my self being just as confused as the H as to why she was reacting certain ways. So you want to be a teacher I don't understand the problem with that. I feel like the drama between the the H and h could have been left out and the book would have been fine with the other drama between Mark and the ex.
Nadia allows that one event to define her life almost causing her to miss out on finding her happily ever after. Kevin can’t forget Nadia after their passionate night together, but every time they come together, Nadia rushes to judgement and keeps pushing him away. Kevin persistence finally pays off as he not only wins the girl, but the major account at work he’s been trying to nail down.

Solid Storyline. Author, Ellie Rowe has written a romantic and steamy story. The main characters, Alyssa and Dylan are perfect together if they can forgo the making up stories (aka lies) and just let nature take over. But do they have enough gumption to stand up to Alyssa’s mom? I enjoyed this book and am recommending it for your reading enjoyment. PEACE. I've read several books written by Ellie Rowe; she has done a great job at writing this fabulous story; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This time around she co-wrote with Reese Hart. I’ll need to check out her books
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. Enjoyable read
Misunderstandings, instant chemistry, insecurities, sweet romance, and hot steamy passion this book will take you on a amazing ride that will lead through the stumbling block as Nadia and Kevin find love. I had a great time with this story that I found it hard to time putting it down.
