"Perfection is open for interpretation. Society makes us believe that when you find the perfect man, it's love at first sight and you say "I do" an buy that dream house. Then you have your two or three kids and live happily ever after.
And guess what? We did the opposite. Screw a stranger in an alley of a club, fall pregnant, run away with a newly-divorced man to live in a rundown bungalow out of wedlock. This is our perfect."
"According to her, if it walks like a jerk, and talks like a jerk, then I am a jerk. But I understood the meaning of 'jerk' differently. To be a selfish, manipulative, insensitive asshole luring her in by playing Mr. Nice Guy, only to give her false hope and leave he cursing the day I was born."

The story is about two characters that could not be more different from each other yet by the end of it made perfect sense together. Usually the h in a story annoys me to no end but I actually really liked Presley. She was confident, knew what she wanted and didn’t back down when she strongly believed in something. Haden was totally a jerk but yet still likeable (or at least to me he was). Like I mentioned before I was not expecting the story to end up where it did but I think the author did a good job in still holding my attention and making the story believable.
I did have a few issues with the book:
1) I wanted some more moments with Haden and Presley to make their romance a bit more convincing
2) There was really no need with the whole Marcus relationship
3) Some things left were left open …however this could be because the author plans to write more books in this series
Overall I really enjoyed this book and would recommend this to others!
