Born and bred in Sydney Australia, Kat T. Masen is a mother to four crazy boys and wife to one sane husband. Growing up in a generation where social media and fancy gadgets didn’t exist, she enjoyed reading from an early age and found herself immersed in these stories. After meeting friends on twitter who loved to read as much as she did, her passion to write began and the friendships continued on despite the distance. “I’m known to be crazy and humorous. Show me the most random picture of a dog in a wig and I’ll be laughing for days.”
I guess I’m being super picky. But I get bored with the same stuff repeated thru out romance. If any one waited long for this thinking you would get the couple time. There is hardly any. The whole time is about other characters that I don’t care for. I’m thinking they have books written about them or will. Ugh oh well.
I was really not going to start this book get a couple of pages in and have an early ha ha i should have known I couldn’t put it down and read it in one night.
God i forgot how much i loved Haden and really. Shawn is such a jerk but it made it such a great book to see Presley’s other side.
The story i found emotional but it really shows how tough it is being a parent and how sometimes a mother can really lose herself, i don’t have kids but i have seen this happen to my friends and really loved this storyline.
I feel we got to see a softer side to Haden in this book and his vulnerable side and to read him breaking broke my heart.
I loved this story and if your a fan of #jerk you won’t be disappointed in this story for Haden and Presley and little Masen if you haven’t read #jerk so that you can read this next book then what in heck are you waiting for these are two must reads.

#B!tch is book two in the #Jerk series by Kat T. Masen and what an amazing book it is. First, note that you must read #Jerk to fully understand and appreciated #Bitch. In book one, Presley gets pregnant by the office jerk on a one night stand. Haden being the man is at the last minute puts a ring on her finger. But what happens after the Happily Ever After? Is it all roses and bliss, death to you part, or till your wife turns into a bitch?
We are taken on a bit of an emotional ride with this one. It's not all fun and games and marriages take work, raising a child takes even more work and throw in working together, well that's a whole another story!!!
Masen has delivered such an amazing story of the "after" the happy. When life seems to streamline and things become predictable and blah. But what happens one situation happens and life spins out of control? can they hang on or bail? read this amazing story and find out.

I was surprised when I found out Kat T. Masen was writing a second book, five years after #Jerk came out. I both loved and hated the first book but jumped on the fangirl wagon immediately. I didn’t know what to expect from it as the blurb doesn’t give too much away. I knew I’d get the usual tongue in cheek banter and passion that I absolutely love in Kat’s books but was surprised by the strong themes that strung this book beautifully together. I won’t give away any spoilers, but I found this book very relevant to my own life in certain ways and it drives a lot of strong messages to women all over the world. This book is hands down a 5-star book. It had me curled up into its little book hands as I devoured it within the day. Thank you so much Kat for an amazing book and congratulations on the release! xx
Don’t even know how to start this but I can relate!
Marriage is hard it doesn’t matter if it’s 4 years or 11 shit it hard and kids is even harder! Losing a baby is never easy and we don’t understand why god does the things he does, but coming to terms with a loss is hard and it broke my heart to pieces for both Presley and Haden forget that Sandy bitch damn I wish I could have fuck her up for messing with my #Jerk and I seriously wanted to punch him in the balls for letting her get in the way, but thank god he came to his senses on time and fired her ass!

Hayden and Presley had their rocky start in #JERK but they’ve been married a while with a beautiful son..... seems like they’ve got it all. But in inimitable Kat T. Masen style, things are shaken up and fires stirred. These characters will drive you mad but you’ll love them all the same and you’ll thoroughly enjoy reading #B!TCH but to fully appreciate it, read #JERK first.
Great story and some wonderful characters by Kat T. Masen.
Wow... I was expecting huge things in #B!tch, seems #Jerk was amazing. I was blown away by #B!tch. Well done Kat. An amazing book and series. Hopefully we get bonuses :)
Presley and Haden have been married for four years and are having typical marriage problems. Haden wants more sex, but Presley is tired and overwhelmed with taking care of their home, their son, and her career. Haden now runs a branch of Lantern Publishing in California where Presley is Editor. They have to maintain a business relationship every day at work as well as home.
They experience normal ups and downs in their relationship until Presley gets pregnant. She has told Haden many times that she is not ready for another child. She wants to focus on the child they have and moving her career forward, and another child is something she's ready for now. However, Haden has wanted another child and he's ecstatic when he finds out Presley is pregnant again. Shortly after Haden finds out about the pregnancy Presley experiences a miscarriage. Haden is devastated, but Presley appears unaffected by it. She makes sure to tell herself and others several times just how much with a very c'est-la-vie attitude towards the situation.
Presley pulls away from Haden and the rest of her family and friends while getting closer to an old friend from college, Cassandra. She further turns Presley against everyone in her life and manipulates her. Presley goes on a trip to New York with Cassandra to get away from her life as mother and wife for a little while. While at the hotel in New York, Cassandra tries to kiss Presley and convince her to leave Haden. She uses every bad thing Presley has confided in Cassandra about to try to drive a wedge between Haden and Presley. This finally knocks some sense into Presley for her to realize she loves Haden and wants to fight for them. Haden very shortly after shows up in New York to try to get his wife back. Haden and Presley realize what is most important despite petty arguments and disagreements and Presley is able to release her real emotions about the miscarriage.
Masen, their son, is adorable! He thinks the world of his dad and doesn't always listen to his mama. Haden is such a good dad albeit sometimes too committed to his work instead of facing the not-so-nice sides of parenthood, like taking care of his son when he's sick.
Presley and Haden's marriage was sooo relatable. It was really hard for me to read Presley's avoidance of her emotions over her miscarriage, even though I understood why she was acting in such a way. And it was hard to read about her pushing everyone away and turning to someone she hadn't seen in a decade, and who clearly did not have her best interests in mind. I was very happy to reach the resolution and have Presley come back to her senses!
This one wasn't really about the romance between Haden and Presley, at least in your typical sense of a romance novel. Haden was a lot more likable as a husband who wants another child, enjoys sex with his wife, and staying completely committed to her after years of marriage. A big change from the previous Haden featured in #Jerk. I did enjoy Presley and Haden's story spanning both #Jerk and this novel.
I hated Presley in this second book, she was the real #jerk in the relationship acting like a petulant teenager most of the time, moody and disconnected with everyone even with her own child. She's a snake!

#B!TCH is a fantastic sequel to #JERK. You must read the first book to get to know Presley and Hayden. I loved this one just as much as the first. To get more Presley and Hayden is just fabulous. You get hit with the emotions and struggles that a lot can relate to when it comes to juggling everything. I for one can highly relate to Presley and her sense of feeling lost and wanting that little piece of herself back. Hayden is for me the typical husband and father who is kind of hands on but more in the shadows. But you do see him trying the only way he knows how and wanting the best for his family. With Presley you feel for her and how overwhelmed she is. And it is like just watching that accident that you know is going to happen as she starts to really question things. The emotions and struggles are real and will leave that little indent on your heart. Presley and Hayden just have this way about them that pulls ate you so much. I couldn't put this one down and I'm so in love with Hayden and Presley even more after reading #B!TCH.
I was super excited when Kat announced she was giving us more of Haden and Presley. #Jerk is my favorite of hers so I was excited to see more of the characters and see where the storyline would go next and I was not disappointed! You must have read #JERK before this one though or you'll really be missing out.
This story was an emotional one and I really felt for the characters. Being a parent myself, I could really relate to the struggles of being a parent and losing one's self as a mother and especially trying to find that balance between being a great parent and also finding time to be a great spouse as well. Kat really did an amazing job with portraying that.
I felt like we got to see a deeper, more vulnerable side to both characters and it broke my heart to see them both struggling and coming to their breaking points.
I overall loved this book and if you loved #JERK than I highly recommend this book!
Wow what a hell of a story!! I loved every single word. I also loved the angst and love and holy hell the characters. Wow I was so captured by the words on every page that it flowed super well. Each word had meaning and something new to tell. The edge of my seat kept getting shorter and shorter as this story unfolded. The events being told really had my heart feeling for the characters. This is a Must Read. It had its tear jerker moments along with a healthy dose of steaminess. As with this story it felt real like and so much to keep you turning the pages so worth the read however now that im done I really want more Presley and Hayden.
I have a love-hate relationship with Presley and Hayden's relationship. Something draws them to me but at the same time, they make me very irritated. These two really need to learn how to communicate. This book was better than the first one. I appreciated how the author showed how sometimes it is just plain hard to be a woman, a mother, a boss, and a wife all at the same time.
In this book, I enjoyed Hayden more than Presley though. He wasn't as much of a jerk as he was in the first book, nor was he toying with a fiancee and the woman that he supposedly loved.
Kat T. Masen brings back couple Jaden and Presley from her novel #Jerk. The couple is now working together in the publishing house in California, married and getting comfortable in their new surroundings. Only this time they are too consumed with work and not each other. There is beginning to be a great divide between them that they may not me able to repair. Will Haden and Presley be able to fix what's broken? I loved reading this book, it broke my heart a couple of times. Great Read!!
This is the follow up book to The Office Rival featuring Haden and Presley.
This book was totally different to the first, I actually enjoyed it more. I found Haden to be so much more vulnerable in this book, while Presley annoyed me, but, as you get further in to the book, you see why she was like she was and how trying to deal with grief affects you and those around you if you make out everything is ok.
I really liked the new characters brought in and the way they altered the dynamic of Haden and Presley’s relationship even though I had an idea of what was going to happen, it didn’t ruin it.
This book does contain pregnancy loss, so if this is a trigger I would recommend not reading it.
I'm glad to see another story involving Haden and Presley. This one was so much better since it was dual pov the whole book. I highly recommend this series and this book
Even with the trigger warning I still read this one. If this helps you decide to read this book the pregnancy loss is an early term loss I know all losses are hard for me it was a full term loss so while I still cried I didn't associate as much as I thought I would. Hope this helps someone decide to risk reading.
As much as I liked the first book in this series, this one kind of fell flat for me. I am used to drama and misunderstandings in a typical romance, but this one was loaded. So much miscommunication between the couple and the name calling was a lot. Maybe that’s a trigger for me? One would have hoped that the characters would have evolved in their years together to function as a unit, but they still acted like office enemies. The story was still well-written and thankfully wrapped up with a HEA but it stressed me out on the way.
Wow Kat... what can i say. #B!tch was everything and more. I loved how for me the roles were reversed. We got to see a more vulnerable side to Haden and if i didn't adore him before... i do now ❤💋 This story was the extra bit we needed at the end of #Jerk. I feel that j totally understood where both Presley and Haden were in this one. Storyline was handled brilliantly. Having been there myself i could feel for both Presley and Haden. Well done. My new favourite of yours 💜
I read this book in 24 hours and while I loved it, I marked it down a star because I saw a lot of book 1 repeated in this book. This was a real shame as I found this book to be equally angsty and the bitch a royal bitch in this book! I actually felt sorry for the Jerk!
I enjoyed where Kat took this book, I loved the pace and equally loved the old and new characters written into the story. I would have liked to have seen this book move completely on from book 1, but loved it all the same.
I absolutely adored this fabulous book which is book 2 and you definitely need to read The Office Rival first. Haden is a charming jerk who is dazzling this time and it’s Presley who struggles in this book but you can’t help but feel for her as life just gets too much. Once again I devoured it just like book 1 and I can’t get enough of these wonderful characters. Kat is a wonderful story teller and I adore her books.
Geezuz that was painful, maybe a little unnecessary because god I was unhappy the whole time😂 I actually think Presley has been more of the jerk, her ocd & need for control obviously blocks her brain from thinking rationally & I don’t mean that because of her miscarriage, she seemed to just have been that way everytime she communicates with Haden. Anyways I’ll just pretend this book never happened because I know their marriage is happy & beautiful with the boys lol
Oh. Bloody. Hell. What a story! I sobbed. I felt every word. My heart was broken. At times I started to hate Presley. But she was suffering. So was Haden, but this time i was team #jerk. I had a feeling cassandra was shady. I'm glad she got kicked to the. I flew through this book. Another great read from this author
I love the continuation of this series. This one is definitely different but I loved it. It touched something deep down and felt so realistic, like this was my journey! I only wish there is another book for Haden and Presley. Maybe one about them conceiving Cruz Cooper!!!
I really liked this book, but in the beginning Presley was just… URGH! so annoying, I guess she was acting that way because she was going through something, but all the damn problems could have been avoided if they just talked to each other. Anyways it was a good sequel to “The Office Rival” and with its new plots and characters. 😌✨
#B!TCH is a fantastic sequel to #JERK. You must read the first book to get to know Presley and Hayden.
This story was an emotional one and I really felt for the characters. The storyline was handled brilliantly. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone.
I love these two. #bitch is just as good as #jerk. I read this book in a day only putting down for sleep and work. I laughed with them I cried with them. I wanted to hit them both at times Hope there is more to their story
Loved this book. Having read #Jerk and the story from Haden's POV - and loving it - I was excited to read this one from Presley's POV. It lives up to expectation. Ms Masen's writing is strong and she tells a great story.
