Plot: This is a short novella set in the Montana Daddies series. We get a glimpse into Macca and Gigi's relationship now that they're back in the United States and Gigi is settling in. He takes her on a sweet picnic at one point and maintains a sharp eye on her lupus.
Character development: I do like this couple - they're sweet and I love the way Macca sees her lupus not as an obstacle but simply another thing he can take care of to show her he loves her.

Ahh shoot, I accidentally read book #7 before this one (6.5) so I had to come back around and read it. I’m obsessed with reading a series in order, even the short stories/novellas in between.
Luckily I didn’t miss too much. Bain was featured in this right before he went to New York and met Arianna. That’s about it.
But this one was just a catch up to see how Macca and Gigi got used to their new life on the ranch together after she moved all the way from Australia. It was pretty cute. She liked to sort of “role play” as a cowgirl with her rocking horse, sparkly boots and cowgirl hat. There was even some sexy cowboy/girl sexytime at the end. Yum. 🔥
We got a quick mention of Linc and how he wishes for a Little of his own. And the grumpy Doc, which I know will be in the next book. I’m excited to read their stories now.
On to the rest of the books and mooooore Daddies!

I loved this quick check-in with Macca and Gigi. I was super curious about how she'd adjust to life in the US and the ranch.
It was also fun to get to check-in with others on the ranch and there were some definite character glances to get us ready for future books.

His Little Cowgirl is another book in Laylah Roberts’ Montana Daddies series. Once again readers are transported back to Sanctuary Ranch to catch a glimpse into Gigi and Macca’s relationship. Fans will remember that Gigi, an LG, suffers from lupus. Macca works for JSI and lives at the ranch. In his role as a DD, Macca hones a razor-sharp focus on keeping Gigi safe and healthy as she adjusts to her new life in America. Will he be able to keep her healthy? Can she adjust to her new life? You must read this book to discover what happens.
I love how this book made me smile and laugh at some of the unexpected moments. Ms. Roberts does a remarkable job in her use of descriptive language and rich dialog. She sets the scenes is such a realistic way that pulls readers into the sites and sounds of life on Sanctuary Ranch. Nice job, Ms. Roberts.

Oh how I love these two. The story was originally in an anthology, Cowboys for a Cause, but now it's out by itself. Fans of Ms. Roberts Montana Daddy's series will love this little peek into Gigi and Macca's lives.

Cute addition.
Since I'm farther along in the series this gave me enough info to remind me which couple it was about. Very sweet epilogue, but kind of disjointed. He buys her presents, they go on a picnic, she gets sick, and they have adult sex. The end. What was the point of it?

Love story
I really thought that this was one of the best. I love this series so much I never want it to end but I know it will. I have read almost all of your book and haven’t found one I didn’t like. Keep writing good series, can wait for the next one in this series.

Outstanding
Wonderful follow-up to Macca and Gigi story. From Australia to Montana is quite a leap for Gigi so finds it friends st Sanctuary was a wonderful gift for her. And better yet they are Littles. A delightful, steamy, heart warming story.
