This book is definitely making it to my top ten books for the year! Many of us struggle with feeling like we are not enough, inadequate, or that no matter what we do, we don't measure up and feel stuck. Following the story of Moses in the Bible—who, by the way, dealt with all kinds of issues, Erica brilliantly guides us to break the barriers and embrace God's truth to flourish with as she has said, "Godfidence." I have wrestled with most if not all of these feelings of inadequacy, even when my life speaks the opposite and at times it has kept me stuck. This book has taken me to a deeper level of pulling back the veil to tackle the root behind these lies and apply biblical truth that transforms my thinking. Letting God Be Enough helped me to recognize that even if I believe God is enough, I have to "let" him be enough in my circumstances. Authentic stories and strong biblical writing in Letting God Be Enough help illustrate what God desires for each of his children, moving from striving to freedom in Jesus. This book is perfect for individual or group study with practical sections of a bible reading plan, questions to process the journey, and prayer.

I suppose, like Moses in the Bible, we all struggle with self-doubt at times in our lives. Even though Moses knew God was in control and provides all we need, he still had so much self-doubt. I can relate.

This book shows by example that we need to depend on God for our strength, because He can change us, our circumstances, and perspective. When we find ourselves wondering if we are enough, we need to believe HE IS ENOUGH instead.

Letting God Be Enough is freeing, and the Truths for the Journey, Processing the Journey, and Passionate Prayer sections at the end of each chapter are stimulating and inspiring.

And I want to mention the cover art. I rarely have #coverlove for a non-fiction book, but this one is stunning. What a pretty and gentle atmosphere it gives off!

This book could not have come at a better time in my journey. Having been recently called into full time ministry work (leaving the steady income of corporate world), I began recognizing my own voice of self-doubt and worry.

Erica's back cover question hit home for me: Do I have what it takes to withstand this new season, circumstance, or assignment?

I eagerly dove into Erica's latest book to find some insight from an author I respect and admire.

From dealing with distractions to looking at limitations, "Letting God Be Enough" is full of Godly wisdom in navigating these unexpected seasons of life. We have so much to learn from the story of Moses and the Exodus, and Erica's insight in our own life application is highly encouraging.

My biggest take-away: Godfidence! I don't need to have it all together when my great big God has the most perfect plan already in place.

This book is a must read for women called to make an impact on the kingdom––that means each and every one of us!

Letting God Be Enough is and easy but insightful read into the life of Moses and oftentimes into our own hearts. Reading Erica's words reminded me of sitting down on a comfy sofa with a wise but relatable mentor who has walked with the Lord and had loads of practical understanding of the human condition, especially the female human condition...and she always points you back to the Lord. I read this book alone, but the layout would make it perfect to read with a friend or book club. At the end of each chapter, Erica provides scripture reading to go along with the chapter, a beautifully scripted prayer, and ideas and questions for further reflection and meditation. Can't recommend this book enough!

Solid 3.5. I enjoyed the parallels with Moses, but am perhaps a little too pragmatic for this style of book.

Erica Wiggenhorn is the founder of Every Life Ministries. The purpose of this ministry is designed to help you discover your purpose and embrace God's promises. Letting God be Enough is the first book I have read by her.

God is enough to fill in our gaps.

Letting God be Enough is about why striving will keep us stuck and how surrender can set us free. One of the questions we all tend to wrestle with is "Am I enough?" This book is told from a conversational, first-person point of view. You feel like you are sitting down and chatting with a friend, as she weaves Moses' story throughout the book, as well as relating his story in a way that makes it applicable to us today.

What if we could cease striving and surrender our endless cycles of frenetic performance?

While I would say this is an easy read, I would also call it a challenging read. At the end of each chapter, the author has a section for you to pause and think about what has been revealed in the chapter. This is followed by a Bible reading plan that goes along with the chapter and challenging us to take a deeper look at Moses' story. She also includes a section that recaps the major highlights from the chapter, questions to get you thinking further, and then closes with a prayer.

Only God can rewrite the reverberating fears of the past into songs of security in the future.

There are sixteen chapters in this book. The author invites us to look at our identity, deal with our fears, look at our distractions, and so much more. While I think this book is mostly geared toward women, I think it could be helpful for teens and adults alike. At one point during the reading of this book I took it to church and shared a passage with the teens that I teach, it went along perfectly with what they were learning about our identity in Christ.

Thank you to Moody Publishers for the opportunity to read this book. I was not required to provide a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Life changing Deliverance, Healing and Freedom can be yours because what God has promised he will deliver. God will be faithful to fulfill what he has purposed for your life and lead you to the Promised Land.

How often do we question our abilities, strengths, gifts, callings? If we are honest most of us will admit that we battle it daily and probably many times a day. When you couple that with dealing with disappointments, feeling abandon, being betrayed or rejected you feel like you have a huge sign hanging around your neck flashing “I am not enough”

Erica Wiggenhorn knows what that feels like. She is honest, courageous, authentic and transparent as she shares her own struggles with inadequacy and striving. She invites the reader to grab God’s hand, while she takes the other so we can travel together. She brings powerful insights through the life of Moses, and other friends who have battled their own enemies and found freedom. She encourages the readers to go dive deep into the well through thought provoking questions and powerful prayers for the reader. She admits that the work is hard but the only way to get to the Promised Land is to go through the wilderness. She encourages us to come to a place of surrender and to cease striving, to stop doing and just be with Him, the one who loves you. To fully experience His presence and cultivate a deeper intimacy with Him. To know and be fully known by him.

Whether you read this book on your own or with a group of friends you can celebrate the victory and be set free. You will learn that God is enough and when you trust him, he will show you that you are enough and that he will fully equip you for all he has created you to accomplish.

I felt like Erica was looking into the window of my heart. Her words reflected the work that God was already doing in me. You know it’s going to be good when you have entire paragraphs highlighted, underlined and notes in the margins. This book changed my life and I know it will continue to. Start the journey today, the Promised Land may be closer than you know when you fully surrender and let God be enough.

Erica Wiggenhorn has a special gift for bringing characters from the Bible to life, and making their stories, struggles, and strivings become relatable to our own lives. Her new book from Moody Publishers, “Letting God Be Enough: Why Striving Keeps You Stuck And How Surrender Sets You Free” is a bit of a deviation from the last three Bible studies she’s written; instead this book is written in a basic 16-chapter format. At the end of each chapter is a section to help us pause and reflect, apply, and pray about the content we just read.

Each chapter tackles a topic relating to the overarching theme of surrender, identity, and trusting that God will see us through. Using a combination of Scripture plus stories from her own life and the lives of her friends, Erica brings the decades-spanning tale of Moses to life as she reveals how he was used so monumentally by God. The relatable part? Moses didn’t have any super powers, his upbringing was less-than-ideal, he ran away when he should have stood firm, he struggled with listening and trusting God’s orders, and so on and so forth. Sound familiar…? I know it does for me. But ultimately Moses allowed God to lead him and, well, let’s just say he played a crucial role in the history of God’s people.

There are so many more insights and truths in this little gem-packed book - my example above is just a minor piece of a much larger puzzle that we assemble chapter by chapter. Even though it’s a tough and heart-wrenching topic at times, Erica Wiggenhorn is a perfect guide as she helps us uncover “why striving keeps us stuck and surrender sets us free”.

I received this book courtesy of Moody Publishers in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

I received a copy of Erica's book "Letting God be Enough" in exchange for my review.

Erica has done it again! Her newest book, "Letting God be Enough" takes you on a journey through the life of Moses. As you begin the journey, you see Moses wrestling with his identity and purpose. As you complete the journey, you find God showing to Moses over and over again that He is enough.
Grab your friends and several copies of the book, and get ready to encounter God and face our own "imposter syndrome" as you study the life of Moses.

I loved the format of this book. Erica begins each chapter by getting your heart and mind ready for the scripture passage. She uses relatable stories and examples to make the text come alive. Erica's writing style has always been easy to read, and this book is no exception. At the end of each chapter, she provides readers with a passage of scripture, summary of the lesson and questions to ponder, and a passionate prayer to close out the chapter.

I highly encourage anyone that feels like they are not enough to grab a copy and see what God tells us through scripture. The world will always tell us that we are not enough, but God has a different message!

Depth of knowledge, profound insight and relatable stories rooted in Scripture characterize everything this author writes. For eighteen years, I’ve facilitated Bible studies and have led our women’s group in all three of Erica Wiggenhorn’s “Unexplainable” studies. Time and again, I’ve heard ladies say they are some of the best we’ve done. In less than two weeks, Letting God Be Enough will not only be in their hands, its truths will be in their hearts as well.

Letting God Be Enough is for every person who has ever doubted they have what it takes to accomplish their life’s God-assignments. Using the example of Moses, the epitome of self-doubt in the portals of history, Erica leads us along a path to freedom and assures us that although God’s route is seldom the shortest, it’s always the safest.

Letting God Be Enough encourages us to leave the barren landscape of self-doubt and journey to a place of promise and abundant living—a place where faith overrides fear, striving gives way to surrender, and failure succumbs to fulfillment.

We’re not enough, but we have access to the One who is. When we cease striving and rest in the limitless abilities of God, He will make good on His promises and be good on our behalf.

I really enjoyed reading Letting God be enough by Erica Wiggenhorn. It's not really a regular book, but more like a study book. Using the story of Moses, the author uses bible verses as well as examples to help the reader overcome doubt. I liked how the author used personal anecdotes to emphasize specific points being made. I really enjoy the layout of this book because it's really easy to understand. The author does this by having a section called Intentional Trekking at the end of each chapter. This includes a Bible Reading Plan, Truths for the Journey, an opportunity to Process the Journey, and a Prayer. The purpose of this study is to take the reader to surender to God, while trusting God’s plan for their life. At the end of this study, we come to the realization that God is our ultimate provider and sustainer. I strongly recommend this book for those seeking to improve their spiritual lives.I received a copy of this book from the publisher for the purpose of this review.

If you've ever felt inadequate, not enough, or the incessant desire to perform, perfect and please then this book is for you! Erica does a beautiful job outlining the importance of surrender. If we give it all to God, He helps us see that we are enough because of His work in and through us. Erica uses the story of Moses to remind us that our self doubt is coupled with self- reliance, and we cannot do this life on our own. We need Jesus to lead us and guide us. This book is a timely read. We are all hopelessly searching for answers, searching for truth, searching for the way..... Erica let's us know we need look no further than to God. We are not enough, God designed us to need others, to work in community support and love, and He intricately designed us to need Him. Reading this book will help you rest easy and find peace in knowing that I am because He is.

Authentic, warm and masterfully written, the beloved Erica Wiggenhorn shares her innermost thoughts and experiences throughout her newest book ‘Letting God Be Enough.’
Who in today’s society is free of doubt, fear and some serious feelings of inadequacy as we go forward in our day to day challenges and living? Erica so sweetly shares truths that set us free, prayers to go before us, and wonderful questions that help us stop, and respond as we examine our thinking. Just because we believe something, doesn’t make it true! This book is the perfect size, to spur on purposeful reflection and growth, as we replace the lies with The Truth. The life and example of Moses is used to demonstrate the victory we can have in Him on the daily, by ‘ Letting God Be Enough!’ Thank you for this beautiful work Erica! What a blessing it is, and will be for years to come!

This book is such a great read. As Erica walks you through the life of Moses, she also leads you on a journey of self discovery. You find yourself not just understanding Moses but more importantly God and just how enough God truly is!
The gentle hand of God cannot be denied.
There are so many good chapters but the one that spoke to me the most was the chapter on Betrayal. I felt understood by God and I gained a new understanding of God.
Another thing I enjoyed about this book is at the end of each chapter, provides you with a Reading Plan, Truths for the Journey, Processing the Journey, and Passionate Prayer.
If you are not sure, I say take the chance on reading this book. It will not fail you. You will find yourself “Letting God be Enough!”

Letting God Be Enough is a book everyone needs. It will reinforce what you know about God, teach you what you don't, and encourage you to see yourself through God's eyes.

I love how she draws out the story of Moses. I didn't realize how I had remembered Moses, almost as if he was many different people. Her book helped me put it all together and recognize him as one man with insecurities, triumphs, failings, fears, and more. And most importantly, through viewing the life of Moses, I understand that God was enough for him, and he certainly is enough for me.

Plus, I am enough because God says so. I can stop my striving to prove my worth. God already determined it. I can't wait to reread the book and go over all my highlights.

n a world that questions everything, self-doubt is running rampant. In her new book, Letting God Be Enough, author Erica Wiggenhorn uses the story of Moses to demonstrate how our fears of inadequacy can be overcome by leaning on God. Filled with relevant truths, stories, prayers, and Bible readings, she points out that even great leaders like Moses have doubts about life. If you suffer from perfectionism, doubt, and feelings of inadequacy, I highly recommend picking up a copy. Freedom can be obtained if we rely on God and not believe what the world might say about us. God is enough.

Author Erica Wiggenhorn walks the reader through the life of Moses and the life lessons held with - reminding us over and over that God indeed is enough for us, each and every single day of our lives if we will just let Him be.

This Bible study was compelling and convicting, reminding us that God is the one who calls us and Who will equip us to go where He has called us to go and be who He has called us to be.

I absolutely recommend this study and will be re-reading it in the future myself!

Through the life of Moses, Erica gives us a reminder that we are not alone in those feelings but that God is there and Enough if we will just trust and keep our focus on him

At one point or another, we all have the question, "Who am I?". Erica Wiggenhorn shows us that our identity comes from God, not from other people. Correlating the story of Moses with current day stories, she shows us that we don't need to be controlled by our fear of inadequacy, and we can persevere with "God-fidence." I highly recommend this book!!

Bring your feelings of inadequacy with you as you start this book. But don’t hold them too tightly because you will find yourself encouraged through these pages and you will finally be able to shed those feelings of not being good enough.

We are guided through the story of Moses (remember, he didn’t feel adequate for the job God gave him) and are shown God’s Word is relevant and fresh today. We see God’s promises guide Moses and how we can relate to his story today.

Each chapter wraps up by showing biblical references, reemphasis of points made in “Truths for the Journey,” review questions to help in “Processing the Journey,” and closes with a beautiful “Passionate Prayer.”

Letting God Be Enough: Why Striving Keeps You Stuck and How Surrender Sets You Free - Author, Erica Wiggenhorn, is authentic and insightful. Find out how to get “unstuck” and find freedom in God.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher as part of the launch team, and the review is my honest opinion.
