Bruce Edwards is an amazing teacher. After watching his three courses on calculus, I wanted to develop my intuition for trigonometry, so I watched this course. What I learned was that trigonometry models periodic behaviour and it is a way of transforming data from a certain domain into a particular range, like how the hyperbolic tangent function is used as an activating function in neural networks. I was also pleased to see an introduction to linear algebra. There were lots of other topics touched upon too, including: complex numbers, logarithmic and exponential functions, conic sections, parametric equations, sequences and series, and probability.
