Dive inside The Stregoni Sequence and discover a hidden world filled with vampires, genies, elves, and other fantastic creatures, many of whom are trapped inside dangerous spells.
Can each spell be broken before it’s too late?
Book 1: Golden Healer, Dark Enchantress
An elf with a gift of healing. A clan of cursed vampires. The dark enchantress who started it all.
"Are you afraid?"
Emma has more reason to fear than at any other time in her life, even while facing her father’s drunken rampages. She’s surrounded by hundreds of vampires, and yet, she’s not afraid in the least. After all, her best friend, Aaryn, is also a vampire, and his clan are Stregoni Benefici, vampires committed to doing no harm.
Emma herself is no ordinary Forest-footer Elf. She's a golden healer, and she alone can save the Stregoni Benefici from the dark enchantress threatening them. Can Emma learn how to defeat the evil vampires without destroying the good ones? And can she unravel the secret Aaryn keeps so carefully guarded and show him he’s capable of being loved and forgiven?
Book 2: Memory Charmer
An enchanter who feeds on memories. The girl he holds captive, and the girl who dares to solve his mystery. A lonely Cloud Elemental watching their lives from the sky above, only to abandon all duty to find love and create the life she craves.
Cheryl is an ex-vampire learning how to lead a "normal" life among humans, fairies, and elves. On a summer trip to the world of Bienvinette, she soon finds herself falling in love with a mysterious magician with a dark secret.
Elissa is a prisoner of a notorious enchanter living deep in the woods. She lives a painful existence as the enchanter feeds daily on both her energy and her memories. But then a strange boy appears from the Stars and offers Elissa a way of escape into the heavens.
Cloud is a lonely Elemental guardian who breaks the most important rule of her kind by leaving her home and travelling to the Below. There she finds love with a feline anamorph, but she also finds danger, not only for herself, but for all Bienvinette. The Elements are out of balance and the only way for Cloud to return to restore that balance requires unimaginable sacrifice.
Book 3: Wish Granter
A young woman invisible to all but the one person who can break her spell. An entire race cursed by a selfish tyrant. A genie trapped inside a musical instrument and a murder plot within palace walls.
Aurora has been cursed with eternal invisibility for hundreds of years, until David discovers her. As an ex-vampire, David understands a thing or two about dark spells. But breaking Aurora's spell will summon an ancient enemy, throwing them into a dangerous love triangle.
Sarah finds herself involved in a deadly mystery and must learn that looks are not always what they seem. Can she use her gift to decipher friend from foe, true beauty from false, before more lives are lost?
Grace is given a special gift, a musical instrument that unleashes a genie. A genie whose origins are tied to dark secrets and a hidden saboteur within the very castle walls. Grace must make her three wishes count if she hopes to save both the genie and her friends from a most terrible fate.
Hullo there, dear reader! Christine E. Schulze here, author of YA fantasy, as well as a few kids’ books about special needs. I’ve been living in castles, exploring magical worlds, and creating fantastical romances and adventures since I was too young to even write of such stories. My collection of YA and children's fantasy books, The Amielian Legacy, is comprised of series and stand-alone books that can all be read separately but also weave together to create a single, amazing fantasy.
One of my main aspirations for The Amielian Legacy is to create grand fantasy adventures with characters that connect with readers from diverse backgrounds. My current focus is to include racially diverse characters, as well as those with disabilities. The latter is inspired by my day job working with adults who have autism and other developmental disabilities at Trinity Services in Southern Illinois.
I draw much of my inspiration from favorite authors like Tolkien and Diana Wynne Jones, favorite games like The Legend of Zelda, and especially from the people in my life. Some of my exciting ventures include the publication of my award-winning Bloodmaiden, as well as The Gailean Quartet, my first series with Words Matter Publishing. My books for younger readers include In the Land of Giants and The Amazing Captain K.
I love connecting with new raeders! Come find me on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, or at my author website: http://authorchristineschulze.com
On that note, God bless, happy reading, and may you be truly inspired! I’ll see you in my next book.
Golden Healer, Dark Enchantress I really really enjoyed this book! I love how God and His love and will are woven into the story. I do feel the story may be considered a bit rushed. I wish it was slowed down a little bit more. Maybe some more time for character and relationship development, more detail. But overall it is an awesome book and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Memory Charmer I think I liked this story better than the first. It felt less rushed by far. I do struggle with the two disjointed story lines included. I think they were both intended to be examples of sacrificial, selfless love. However, I think it was a bit unclear making it feel disjointed and a bit mashed together. Maybe a third story that brought them together or something, I don't know. I digress, these two stories felt fuller and deeper than the first. I felt more immersed in these. I didn't feel as though I was constantly going "oh WOW we're already here". The progression felt natural and follow-able. Big fan of these two stories, and I cannot tell you which one I liked the most 😅
Wish Granter I think I enjoyed this book a bit more than the first two. It felt a bit less rushed than the first two. Maybe a bit more fleshed out. I love the storyline of self-grace and forgiveness. I love how the author shows how another person's pain can help us to grow. Just as Christ's pain helps us grow. I love the unconventional conclusion of this book as well.
I just finished this series in one book . Wow ! Fast paced , twist and turns . I loved how we get to know each of the characters story through out and I fell in love with them . I also especially love how Christian aspects came through , Yes even with vampire’s , genies , banshees and much more . I was a somewhat spectacle about a vampire being a Christian lol but I seen how the writer worked it . There is a special moment between two characters one a Christian and one who is struggling with belief and the witnessing of the Christian character. Love ! This is a YA , but as a 56 year old woman I loved it . I would recommend to any age. Great job to the author .
The Stregoni Sequence Omnibus encompasses 3 YA books by Christine E. Schulze. This is a great series for young readers that dives into fantasy worlds without overly dark or spicy themes. If you are looking for quick, easy reads (it took me less than a day for all three books), this is a great place to start!
The Stregoni Sequence Omnibus dives into a world of vampires, elves, fairies, and witches. The characters are well developed and easy to connect with. Schulze did a great job on this! Highly recommend for 15-18 year olds just getting into fantasy or looking for something to break up the monotony of what’s already out there.
If you like Wattpad (or any fanfiction), are in the 15-18 age range, and love not subtle Christian themes in fantasy --you will love this series! I am a fan of all these things except I'm 25 and I think I just am disconnected from the teenage adventure mindset now 😅 I would have eaten this up in high school! I would totally recommend gifting this to a young teenager as a substitute for Twilight if they're not allowed to read it. Because of my disconnect to the book (seriously not on the author! I just have two kids now and think like a mom lol) I did not finish it. I did skim through to understand the plot of the series before writing this review. The characters are easy to get into and understand right from the beginning. The language in this book is on a YA level (duh that's the rating but you never know these days) so you don't have to worry about your teenager losing attention to what's going on. I love the concepts in these books and really wish I could have gotten into it better. ❤️
I really liked this series and I think it's great for younger readers. I love that I can share these stories with my children someday. I thought the writing was really interesting as we have at least two separate stories in each book but they slightly overlap. Overall I really enjoyed the series and loved the different elements, storylines, and the Christian themes throughout. If you're looking for a good, clean fantasy for yourself or a young reader - this is a really solid option.
This Omnibus is great for having each of these stories in the same place!
Read my thoughts on each part of the trilogy below:
Golden Healer, Dark Enchantress: This is only book I have ever read that deals with someone who is a Christian being turned into a vampire without their consent, and it is so relevant in our modern world!
Memory Charmer: By far, my favorite aspect of this book is the way that the chapters highlight different characters' experiences and POVs, but then everything comes together in the end. I love the introduction of new characters, and I especially enjoyed learning about the Elementals. Cloud is my favorite!
Wish Granter and Other Enchanted Tales: This is the only story about a genie I have ever read and I loved it! I especially appreciated the pop cultural reference that he was not what the FMC expected to see because he wasn’t blue like in the Aladdin movie.
“The Stregoni Sequence” is a fantasy series written by Christine E. Schulze. The author has blended romance, intrigue, and suspense in a way that makes them impossible to stop reading. These are fantastic tales, with mysterious and compelling characters, clever and well-developed dialogues and detailed descriptions of setting and events. The argument unfolds at a fast pace and the twists and turns in the plot make them compelling and thrilling. I especially liked how the author included well-know characters such as vampires, witches and genies but gave them a twist to provide a breath of fresh air to classical narratives. I really enjoyed reading this stories and I recommend them to anyone who wants to have a good time.
The Stregoni Sequence is an amazing collection of three books. I cannot fully express in words how much I loved this series. I really enjoyed having all the books in my hands so I could read story after story. I dare to say that in my opinion, these books will definitely live forever in the minds and hearts of fantasy fans everywhere, as it happened to me. These stories bring with them a real chaotic flow of emotions and I feel still in shock from it all. I cannot tell readers how many times during this set of books I found myself holding my breath, quite literally. The plot is very interesting and full of twists and turns that made me feel excited until the very last page. I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys this kind of reading.
As a very anxious person, I really like box sets because as soon as I finish one book, I can immediately read the next one. “The Stregoni Sequence” by Christine E. Schulze is a thrilling fantasy trilogy that I really enjoyed. It has all the spicy ingredients that I look for in a read: magic, love, drama and a lot more.
Something I really like about these novels is that the narrative structure is simple, so it is really easy to follow. Also, the characters are well-described, so I could easily sympathize with them.
To conclude, I would like to say that this trilogy is well worth reading. I thoroughly recommend it, especially for young readers. They will be delighted.
“The Stregoni Sequence: A Christian Fantasy Trilogy” is a set of three books every teen is going to have a blast with. The stories in these books are really enjoyable and the narrative is very well accomplished.
What I liked the most was the fantasy worlds the author Christine E. Schulze created; I can tell she loves what she does by reading her work. All the magical worlds in these books complement very well with the characters and all the adventures they go through.
I think this is a great set of books to have in every teen library and once in a while immerse in the read all over again.
I absolutely fell in love with this magical series with its magical creatures and its christian overtones, even though I personally am not religious. I have left a review on each book independently as I read them, and I encourage all young adult readers who love magic and heroic characters surviving from abusive past experiences to read and enjoy this trilogy. It has its dark moments but it is mainly a book full of faith and hope. Enjoy!
I absolutely loved it!! Three nearly perfect stories of true faith and sacrifice in a fascinating world. The characters strung at my heart and became real, Jesus´love shone through the chapters of each story and got me thinking about His own sacrifice at Calvary for me. Just beautiful and so moving!!!!
