Living alone in the mountains of Colorado, rugged lumberjack Asher has always believed he doesn’t need anything but his trusted axe and his constant solitude.
That all changes in a flash when a beautiful, redheaded photographer stumbles across his path.
Rose has come to Mist Heights for a fresh start – and the last thing she expected was to find a tall, dark, and handsome logger whose quiet and gruff shell seems impossible to penetrate.
When the falling snow forces them closer, the pair have little choice but to admit just how brightly their unexpected passion burns.
Mountain blizzards are frosty, but their blazing love might just be fiery enough to keep them warm.

Are you craving a sweet insta-love story? No cliffhangers? Guaranteed HEA? Asher is the perfect short, steamy read you've been waiting for.

Sarah Taylor's series Men of Mist Heights continues with the second installment entitled Asher, a sweet and steamy instalove romance. Asher has been on his own since he was eighteen, living a reclusive life in a cabin in the mountains, working as a lumberjack and whittling hand-crafted treasures. Rose has rented a cabin on the mountain, looking for a fresh start after exiting a long-term relationship. She is out exploring with her camera when she stumbles upon Asher chopping wood. However, despite an instant attraction, Asher's gruffness sends Rose on her way. Unfortunately, she gets turned around as a snow storm hits - and ends up back at Asher's cabin instead of her own. These two have explosive chemistry; with two engaging characters, their instalove story is a short, entertaining and steamy read.

I really enjoy Sarah’s mountain man romances. The reclusive Asher is instantly taken with Rose, a tourist in the mountains. He is protective of her and enraptured by her but convinced he wouldn’t be enough to make her want to stay in the mountains. Rose is a lovely character, a free spirit who roams where she wants and photographs everything. She is instantly trustful of the mountain man and craves for his attention. Luckily they both give in to their attraction and a beautiful relationship grows.

When Rose stumbles upon a mountain man, Asher, while taking photos of the world around her, she is intrigued. As Asher sets eyes on her, all he sees is the woman of his dreams. However, since she is a tourist, he knows that he cannot get involved with her since she will be leaving the mountains when her vacation is over.

Rose is on vacation in the mountains. She goes on a walk to take pictures. She hears a noise and goes to investigate and finds a mountain man chopping wood. After seeing him she works her way back to her cabin only it is not jer cabin it turns out to be the cabin of the man she saw earlier. What will happen? Will he be angry at her for again invading her space? Will they fall for each other?

A great book

I enjoy reading mountain men stories,, this one was so good. Rose was spending two weeks taking pictures of the area before moving onward. Asher lived in the mountains since he was a teenager. They meet up when she stumbled into his area. From there they get acquainted. You'll have to read the book to see what happens. It's worth the read. Written by Cindy :)

It was a cute mountain romance. Rose is traveling and trying to find herself. What she did not count on is finding a sexy lumberjack to keep. Asher is loner and was okay with that until beautiful Rose wandered into his life. Very light and enjoyable read.

So good

We are back in Misty Falls. This is Asher's story. He is grumpy from the start. That is until he sees Rose snap a picture of him. I loved this short story. Was a great quick read. I did want more. Hoping more will be in this series. A talkative girl and her grumpy lumberjack. Lol

Instalove

This quick read is full of the great outdoors, instalove, protectiveness, bravery, trust, honesty, passion, chemistry and connection. It had a bit of drama and some sweetness to it too. I received an ARC of this book from Booksprout then purchased my own copy.
