They’ll do anything to claim every inch of my body.
Naomi hasn't been touched by a man since her last boyfriend, Oliver. When the Shadowcrown Pack hires her to help strengthen their weakest links, she meets the notorious twin alphas Jax and Noah. From the moment they meet, these bad boys are determined to have their way with Naomi.

I read the whole thing, but not sure I should have. It was very disjointed to me throughout. As a fan of PNR and accustomed to strong characters in most, these characters were not. I thought the twins were weak and Naiomi just didn't do it for me. She was a "Lycan", but the author's definition of what that is was never explained so you never really knew what she was supposed to be/do. The book kept alluding to her mission, but it was never really explained either. All in all, this was a few hours of my time I'll never get back.
This was so so bad I literally don’t know where to start
First the 2 alphas aka the twins are about as alpha as 2 chihuahuas! Mikayla is a psycho who has also slept with the twins The ex Ava who was the twins mate was the most ridiculously villain I’ve read And Naomi who was the twins new mate who had also slept with Mikayla’s mate Roger whilst she was with her partner and boyfriend Oliver
It was just a mess and I gave up at 66% because I couldn’t care less about any of the characters or the rest of the story

This story starts with a horny woman and then she has a forced mating, which is equal to rape in most shifter stories. Then the rest is alpha male dominance with erotica. Not enough story to interest you. To much posturing. Not worth the effort.
Most of the first half of this book was really confusing to me. It felt like I was dropped into a world with no background. I didn't know the dynamics of the lycans/wolves/humans, and didn't understand what the heroine's role was supposed to be. But after the halfway point, I didn't really care, the story was keeping me entertained enough to keep going. The audiobook was okay, it was multiple viewpoints done by a single female narrator, but it didn't bother me too much.
Emilia Rose has a way with words and she creates wonderful characters, story, setting, and more that allows you to escape reality for a moment and be part of her world. In, “The Twins” we meet Naomi, a human woman and warrior that is aware of werewolves, training alongside them and even being a trainer to weak pack members who need the aid to become stronger and be the warriors they can be. If she sounds familiar is because yes she is the same Naomi we met in the “Submission Trilogy”. Naomi has never been interested in having a relationship or even being mates with a werewolf like her sister is; occasionally a liaison or two, but nothing more, well that’s until she meets Jax and Noah; The Twins. Jax and Noah are twin Alphas who are determined to break Naomi’s walls down and make her theirs, owning her heart, soul and body. It won’t be easy especially when The Twins have secrets of their own, especially Noah who has guard up because although he wants Naomi his past is still haunting him, while Jax more than anything wants to be with the woman that was made for them. Will they be able to get past all their obstacles and let walls down so they can accept the love they have for each other. If the drama and romance is not enough, well believe me when I say that Noah, Jax & Naomi will set your kindle, device or whatever method you use to read on fire! Their steamy scenes are hot and will most likely destroy your panties! Is all about Naomi and her pleasure and the Twins sure knows how to lit Naomi’s world on fire!! Enjoy!!
Now, I read so many negative comments about this book and I just wanna say, y’all are so incredibly wrong about it.
I loved it. The spice was phenomenal. I kept up with the story line. (Hint: read Submitting to the Alpha and the trilogy that comes along with that first!!!!)
This book follows the character of Naomi from Submitting to the Alpha. She was the highly skilled human from another pack that Isabella recruited for the Lycan’s. So many people had no idea what was going on and I followed it perfectly. Y’all are just absolute negative Nelly’s who need to expand your reading of a singular author. Even following the dated publications of each book could tell you where to start from. It’s not that hard people!!!
Anyway, back to the story at hand. Naomi was such a boss girl. I loved her. She took crap from no one. She almost made me want to tear my hair out when she was close to leaving the twins. Like my god, girl. If you don’t want them, I want them!!!! Jk. They were actually super cute as a couple.
Noah and Jax were hot. I loved Jax’s perfect bubbly attitude (for the majority). He was quite dominate when he wanted to be. Noah was very, very standoffish to start with. But, being with his ex mate will do that to him. She was a bitch. Ava was so wrong on so many levels. She was a manipulative piece of work that one. She had Makayla (hope that’s how you spell her name 😬) fooled for sure. She had like everyone under her thumb pretty much. But I loved that Naomi was not fooled in the slightest and could see through her lies.
The other thing that ground my gears was the fact that Jax and Noah kept so many secrets about their past. I wanted to strangle them when new information was revealed about their past. Like, come on. You had a previous mate that no one was to talk about. Then you also slept with a mated wolf (Makayla). Mind you, Makayla was an absolute skank for wanting to stay with Jax and Noah whilst rejecting her actual mate. That’s criminal. I loved when Noah finally told her to leave when he was trying to prove himself to Naomi for all the hardships he put her through. That was the moment I was like, ‘yep, he’s a keeper’.
Naomi has been contracted to help out the Twins pack on making them stronger. When she meets Jax and Noah the attraction and chemistry is instant and through the roof. They know that she is theirs and plan on keeping her. Naomi is a Lycan who is very independent and human and has never wanted to be a wolf. This audio book is was well done enjoyable. The story was interesting and keeps you engaged from start to finish. I struggled with Naomi's character some but in the end, she redeemed herself. Noah is a broken soul, and it takes most of the story for you to truly see his strength, I loved Jax from the beginning he is trying to keep everyone safe while trying to keep them together. The narrator brought the characters to life and gave them true emotion. The story has secrets, betrayals, twists and so much steam. I received the ALC for my Honest review.
In my view the whole concept of this book was amazing. This is THE book that got me into reverse harem and i'm absolutely enthralled by it. I loved Naomi as the protaganist and the way she handled the alpha twins. This book mostly focuses on the relationship of naomi, jax and noah in a menage. Im a big fan of emilia rose's books and this is one of my favourites. I actually read this on wattpad before she took it down and now is publishing it. and this is one of the first book that I actually finished in one sitting.
So, this is my second read of this story and I loved it just as much this time around!!!! Jax & Noah, are Twin Alphas of the Shadowcrown Pack. In order to prepare for a possible coming war, Naomi, a human, who also happens to be highly trained in combat, is brought in to help strengthen their pack. What she is not expecting is to find not one mate, but two! It is definitely not smooth sailing. The twins are hiding things from their past and at first Naomi does not know where their true intentions lie. There is IMMEDIATE chemistry here and it is off the charts steamy! War is on the horizon though, far quicker than they thought, and as Naomi helps the pack prepare, there are even more secrets to uncover. Unrelated to this story, but I started reading Emilia Rose’ stories on Wattpad & Inkitt and on her Patreon (which you should totally do if you read this story and love it.) Love, love, love her writing! There is definitely smut involved …. Lots of it. For the record, I am NOT complaining about that! But, I’ve never failed to be sucked into the story and the characters. The female main characters are always strong, sometimes flawed like the rest of us, but always complex and make you root for them!
🔥Quick Notes🔥 • Paranormal Romance (shifters) • HOT!!!!! Maybe read in a freezer? • Not 1, but 2 Sexy Alphas! • Female lead who literally kicks ass • Multiple POVs • Drama and action
🔥 Ratings 🔥 💗💗💗💗 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🌶️🌶️**Really should be WAY HIGHER than just 5.**
Loved the story . How a human could be strong if not stronger than a wolf was pretty neat , it shows females can be strong and a force to reckon with. Naomi was supposed to help strengthen a pack but got a better deal when she got mated and turned by the handsome twins . I loved watching them fall for each other and the danger they faced with Ava and the others. Loved the hea and there was mountains of spice .The narrator did a great job juggling between characters bringing depth and life to them.
I can’t say this book was bad but there were so many twist and trying to figure out who the main Female didn’t sleep with Was just nuts. I think I missed something and maybe this is part of a series? Idk. The hot and steam also had me confused for so many reasons. I just put it down to weird sex? Not interested enough to really read more from this author? Happy reading tho’.
The twins is where Naomi was finally introduced. The story depicts drama and heartbreak along the road with a hint of steamy scenes that can leave you hanging and wanting for more. And if you like reverse harem, this is the book. But overall, the story and the plot is okay. I like it, it is entertaining but something is amiss it has potential to be a longer book in spite of that note I am not the author and I like the way Emilia Rose wrote all the scenes in all her books.
I love love Emilia Rose's books and yet the twins did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of reading this on Wattpad one of the first books I was introduced to this author and I haven't looked back. The Twins is an action packed book filled with plenty of steam, sexy alphas and a kickass female lead. You will not be disappointed.
As with all the books I have read by this author, the smut is hot hot hot.. the story is not not not. Honestly, I was kinda hoping someone would off the h .. and the twins were dense. The story had so much potential but other than the smut (again gooooodddd stuff) the storyline was very much like fanfic..
This story tells of a was that is not far off and a young lykin female that had been sent to make sure that the twins were fighting ready to fight ,strong and the alpha too i have enjoyed reading this story and I would like to say thank you for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁
Overall this was a pretty great story, I listened to the audio version. Narrator was great although it would have been nice for a male to read the male parts.
Parts of the story was a little confusing since in most stories the "Lycan's" are the stronger wolf but it seems like in this story they are "humans"
I love all of the books I have read from Emilia and cannot wait to read more!
This did not start just as I thought, and it’s kept on, an though it was just going too be 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ good 🌶️ but the story develops and you get a great story whit lot of spice.
It really woks on audio, but the old lady waking by me when I listen too in the car, godt a little more then she was expecting 🤭🤭🤭
I was able to read this through a membership for Emilia Rose. It was overall an awesome book, kept me engaged but I did feel as though the ending happened suddenly. I would still recommend it though as I couldn't stop reading it.
started ok and then spiraled out. Lots of talk about “emotions” but doesn’t seem genuine. The books “take” on being a werewolf is at odds with itself. Inconsistent motivation, story telling and lore/norms about being a werewolf.
