Every day was a new adventure . . . Circuit riding in 1800s Appalachia wasn’t for the faint of heart. It was a sometimes-lonely occupation, fueled by joy and laughter, heartache and pain. But, the reward of being in God’s will was worth the effort. Follow the fast-paced account of Seth Bromley and his faithful horse, Joab, as they encounter friends and foes on the way to building God’s Kingdom.
I have several reviews on this book and all are 4 or 5 stars. Several reviewers say this is a good book for Christians. I agree, but I don't believe it's overly religious to the point I'm trying to proselytize, or that you have to be a Christian to enjoy it. I believe this is a good book for anyone who wants to read a good story. It has humor, as well, as mystery and murder. Although none of the events are true, I drew on some of the beliefs of people in my early life to write it. Read it and see what you think. It's available on Amazon, Kindle and Goodreads.
This was a very interesting book! I couldn’t put it down!Just to think of all that he endured to bring the Word of God. Then to see how the enemy tried to set him up and destroy him! But he didn’t let that happen! All that he endured ! Was amazing!
