I like the writing. I like how short the book is. Enjoyed reading it while having a cup of tea in the morning. I could relate to the writing and I hope to read more of the author's work.

"Old-School Love Poem ina Modern World" these words in the cover page made me pick the book.

The way she’d walk past me- 
A notebook on one hand, 
The other playing with her hair 
The smell of her perfume lingering 
A little longer in the high-school air… 
It all came back to me 
When I saw a tiny heart drawn 
On the last page of my notebook.

This is not the first book of the poetess, but this is the one that will close to my heart. Front the very first poem to the last words everything is beautifully scripted just like a special music that always gives me happiness. The collection is divided into four parts, each is wonderful in its own way. I just cannot choose one poem as favourite I loved everything.

The book consist of short loveable reads. It includes those days romance to current times. My favorite one was not meant for each other, as I also felt that it's apt with current trend where many of us have our hearts been broken and it kind of tells why we were never meant to be. The book is nice when you have to read or are thinking about love, it just comforts you.

Wow! what an awesome pick of love poem!

Have you ever felt Unreciprocated love?

Did you ever hide your ardent desire of love from your beloved one?

Even though you couldn't fulfill your life without your beloved, did you abandoned it?

Here is a remedy for your pain, BETWEEN US: OF LOVE, LONGING AND MORE. The author express the anguish of Unreciprocated love. How would be the suffering when we abandon our ardent desire of love?, Is emotionally captured.

The last page of our note-book is the testimony of our real self. This has mirrored our likes and dislikes, love and longing. Because we used to scribble what is in our mind/heart without shielding our heart. Likewise here in this poem the author left her Unreciprocated love in her notebook's last page. She instincts her abandoned love with agony.

Here the love attracts but the lovers are in opposite poles by some reason. It shows the narrator sheeplessly obedient to her family. The traditional mind of the narrator has revealed in this rejection. Even though the narrator tries her best to expose her love but she fails to approach it.

Really a heart waxed love poem. Easy to comprehend and easy to take the exaggerate love feeling to the heart.

QOTD: Any beginner-friendly poetry book?
''Between Us" First of all, I am so happy that this book is a beginner-friendly one though I love classic poetry books; I read this simple poetry book, which amazed me. Moreover, many readers are new to the reading world, so they need beginner-friendly poetry books as poetry is often brutal to read, and being a beginner, they couldn't get into the book completely.

This book is divided into 4 parts:
1. Last Page Of My Book: This is all about your school and college crushes and how you used to feel about them.

2. Modern Love: This is about modern love and how it is different from the old school one.

3. Not meant for each other: This lets us know that love is not just a happy place. It is much more than what you think it would be like.

4. Love in Abundance: It is just about love everywhere.
Though I loved the writing style and the poetry, I feel that somehow I lost that connection or the feel while reading it may be because I am much into difficult poetry, but if I had to talk from a beginner point of view, then this book is an excellent pick for you all.

An easy-breezy one-time read.

My ratings: 3.6/5
Divided into 4 sections (The Last Page of My Book, Modern Love, Not Meant for Each Other, and Love in Abundance), this poetry collection makes for a perfect short read over a weekend or at the end of a tiring workday.

What I liked about the book:
-> Reading the poems under "The Last Page of My Book" was so nostalgic. It makes us recall our love life during our educational time period. Like about our crushes during school, how we used to write our unsaid feelings and thoughts on the last pages of our books.
-> The author has expressed unsaid feelings in a deep and relatable manner.
-> Each section in the book depicts different shades of love. The poems are emotionally sound and even though they appear simple, the reader will find themselves immersed in their depth pretty fast.

What I did not like about the book:
-> As someone who likes more classic poetry, this one didn't match my taste much.
-> It doesn't leave behind much and I'm someone who likes thought-provoking reads, so I guess it's just okay for a one-time read.

Last page of my book : it's about those nostalgic days of schooling & college where the feeling of love , that first crush , first eye contact & the first love letter it's a something different feeling which you only can just feel but can't express in words.

The second one is "Current love" which is all about current scenario of love of texting chatting in virtual mode where emotions somehow lacking behind.
.
The third one is "Not meant for each other" is the reality of a relationship. It's not always sweet like laddu but it's sometimes bitter like kalera too. So you have to overcome both the consequences to be in a happy married life.

The fourth one is Love in Abundance which portrays thee universal love definition & it's values.

The writing style of this book is spot on well portraying each emotions with an absolute apt manner. The rhymic is perfect well blend with language & wordplay to make it more valuable read.

The pace of the book is good & well narrated one too .

So Between Us is anthology of beautiful poems which will literally make your heart melt.
As written on the cover it is about love, longing and more.I never claim to fully understand this genre, but this book was easy, heartfelt and relatable read.

This book is mainly divided into four themes :
Last Page Of My Notebook - which reminds us of our school days, first crushes and innocent Love.It makes us nostalgic about the beautiful times which we can't get back.
Modern Love - its about love in modern times, texting and calling.
Not Meant For Each Other - It has lines with deep meanings and which describes love but still parting ways due to reasons which can be understanding, compatibility etc.; how with time feelings change.
Love In Abundance articulates rhe feelings of unconditional love.

The trivial things are beautiful weaved in fantastic poems.They strike a chord, touch to our hearts.These poems unwraps not only love but also anguish,longing and despair which comes along with the disguise of love.

I am utterly swept away by these beautiful lines of the book
Life isn't about falling in love as much as it's about get over hatred.

So, this is the third poetry book, I am reading of author Samhita Baruah, like other two this book is also master piece.
Poems are divided into 4 varied themes
1) Last page of my book - As the name says, this theme contains poems which will make you miss your old school or college crush.
2) Modern Love - You will compare your school time love with modern day love.
3) Not meant for each other - This theme will make you bit sad as you might miss your first crush or love.
4) Love in Abundance - Finally this theme will help you to find abundant love of universe and the people around you.
I like the way of author's writing as by reading poems we can feel emotional ups and downs.
It's like sitting in emotional roller coaster.

Comfort Notes for Old-School Lovers stuck in Modern-Day Dating

This collection of short romantic poems blew my mind. I'm in soooooo love with this book that I re read the poem collection more than 5 times. It has 4 chapters and the first chapter "Last page of my Notebook" is my favourite one. It brought so many nostalgia. For sure, it will bring nostalgia in all 80s & 90s kids.
What a kick-ass writer this author is. I'm going to start reading her other book collection - Art of series.
Alright - Enough of review. Let me.go back to reading the poems for 7th time and enjoy my nostalgic moments.

⠀Sanhita Baruah really did an amazing job amassing several poetries of a different kind, of ranging emotions and feelings and penned this book perfectly.

With only 50 pages, this is a short read, but the words will definitely linger for a while in your head.

4. Love in Abundance

My favourite part was ‘Love in Abundance’, that part really spoke volumes.
Would definitely recommend it to others.

certainly helps you to remember those days of yore sentiment when ppl will share love letters through note pads and books. Also, hung tight for an answer for a few days. I like exemplary verse and I appreciated perusing this one. The sonnets are straightforward and I would prescribe them to novices.

I felt poetry is very subjective, was beautiful in it's own way.

There were longing and joy, pain and hope, laughter and darkness.
In the end, I felt glad that I picked up the book!

The cover of the book is gorgeous and the title of the book is apt to the content.
Language used by the poetess is lucid and impressive.
The writing style of the poetess is captivating. She weaved her words like a magic.
Overall, a beautiful read.

This is the first book I read with prose. Although I had a hard time understanding the meaning for most of them, it felt nice to read and I loved it.
