I’ll be honest, I wanted this book to revolutionize my life but found it to be fairly meh for two specific reasons.
1) While the writing is clear and concise, I did not encounter much new information. The method recommended in the book is essentially a revised Ferber method, and while the Q&A section was interesting, the book as a whole just was not for me. I could see this being a useful resource for someone with no knowledge of the topic, but I just didn’t find as much value here as I was looking for.
2) The TYPOS. Oh my gracious, so many typos in this book. Spelling, grammar, word choice, you name it. The number of typos drove me to sheer distraction.
TL/DR: I would recommend this book if you’re somebody who knows nothing about sleep science, but it wasn’t for me (particularly given the distracting number of typos).
