It's easy to feel stuck in the grind, struggling to simply get through the day, especially as we all try to define a new normal. But what if you could start achieving your goals and living with purpose? Authors Dustin Hillis and Ron Alford can show you how.

The authors' seven success strategies will provide you with a blueprint for creating a happier and more fulfilling life. You'll redefine your potential with strategic activities and actionable tools. Learn how to get unstuck by using the RAFT technique. Uncover and break belief barriers by rewiring your inner dialogue with positive self-talk and targeted affirmations. And be inspired with relatable anecdotes from high achievers who demonstrate what can happen when you live a life of intention.
Redefining Possible challenges readers to take an honest look at their lives and ask, "What would happen if I stopped holding myself back...and started believing that I really can achieve everything I desire?"
I don't often write reviews and read 50-100 books a year... but this one really impressed me. It was able to drive a big impact and share some actionable idea in a relatively short read. Both of the authors shared personal, real-world stories and examples of the principles in action. I was impressed with the vulnerability from the authors.
They both clearly have strong Christian beliefs which could put off some people, but I really liked it. Great examples of wanting to share the lessons they've learned that have helped them find happiness and success in their lives. Many of the ideas I've heard before but they brought them together in a new way and I walked away making 2-3 significant changes (vision board is going up!).
I found the appendices to be more informative and helpful than the bulk of this book. Some of the things they said were super helpful, others just seemed vague and overly positive. Not sure if this was intentional so that you will buy coaching sessions or if they didn’t realize.

Nothing great here
So ok... I was not sure how I would feel about this book because the two authors were ALL ABOUT GOD!! in like their first sentences and really throughout the book. Religion is like a penis... it is ok to have one but when you start trying to shove it in my face I have a problem with you. However the premise of the book was worth a risk and in the end, though the authors are a bunch of overly Christian weirdos their book has basically nothing to do with Jesus. Thank the Gods (LOL).
I don't know if the book is available in print but if it is that is probably a better format than audio. The advice in the book is the kind of thing I would like to revisit over and over (just specific passages or lessons). Also the accent of one of the authors was nails on a chalkboard to me.
Overall I would recommend this book if you are looking for a way to improve your confidence especially if you are in sales.
What’s the last 📚 you picked up that you just couldn’t put down?
Honestly, given the title, I expected Redefining Possible to be your standard professional development book on how to achieve success.
Instead, what I experienced was a gripping call to... a) reflect on what matters most, and b) transform that introspection into tangible, actionable impact that would leave a legacy.
It’s been almost a decade since we’ve worked together, but Ron Alford, Dustin Hillis and the team at Southwestern Consulting, thanks for continuing to impact me from afar. 🙏
It’s so hard to get through books when they start lecturing about their beliefs in Santa clause and how the reindeer fly blessing to them on Christmas. Ugh. How is the brain washing so thorough does it accompany those when they make money or inkling of success and if it’s success why not acceptance that their Santa has their best interest over them even when poor? Hmmm
These guys are the real deal. Simple, actionable and powerful read. Parts of the book might turn you off if you’re not very religious but they do a good job at generalizing faith across the board and the principles are applicable for all.
