I live in sunny Florida where I spend my days taxiing the family to various places while jotting down the many crazy thoughts inside my head. I enjoy a freelance career writing for several magazines sharing some of my interesting viewpoints on life and those around me. I can usually be found on my back porch watching the squirrels chittering at the birds while enjoying a cigar, a scotch, and the many characters that talk to me inside my head.
Edwin has an inappropriate moment with consequences and is forced to transfer to Savannah. Andrea is an excellent employee that chose to move to Savannah as her boss Brian is also there. The head of the company transfers Brian because he knows about that relationship. I love the changes and growth Edwin goes through. He learns much about himself and how to help someone else grow as well. Andrea judges Edwin and learns a few things along the way as they negotiate a mutual acceptance of their experiences so to tolerate each other in the job environment. I really enjoyed how the author developed the relationship between Edwin and Andrea. I felt her annoyance with him and in fact wished she would have smacked him one so I would feel better. This is a fantastic read as I didn’t like Edwin in the beginning but wow at the end of the story I just fell in love. Going to confess that this is my favorite story (for now) written by this author. Job well done!
His to Command is book 4 in The Rutherford Series. I thought it was book 2 so imagine my surprise that there is MORE!!
This story is spicy and fun. I expected more adult adventures but overall a really good story.
Main character Edwin is “punished” for his indiscretions in the office with Faith during Losing Faith book 1 in this series, also by Wynne. However, this type of punishment might just lead to something more since Andrea is also treading on thin ice with the Rutherford company.
I liked how Edwin was able to explain to Andrea the things she was missing out on. Relationship 101: communication and trust. I liked Andrea’s character, her sassiness, her innocence, and her yearnings. I liked how they work together, personally and for the company. I look forward to more of their adventures. One character I wonder about though is Brian…his story was a little too easy. Makes me wonder if there is more there as well.
Sharing Hearts is the next in this series. I won’t be hesitating to read it!
What can I say, my fingers are still burning from flipping the pages. I guess I really should not be surprised by Edwin's actions, although I believe it was not all at fault. Andrea was coming on strong, hard for a man to resist.
After reading this story you can truly understand where both of them are coming from and I hope that maybe they can heal each other. I would truly love to hear more of their story and see how it is going.
They both deserve a second chance at finding their Perfection.
This is the fourth book in The Rutherford Series. Yup I have read all of them and I think that while this one COULD be read by by itself, it flows better if read in order. I enjoyed it but gave it a four star because it did not grab me as the others did. I felt that is was slow to get going. Edwin is a jerk, in my opinion, and Andrea ... well I will just say she has blinders on. However, they both grew on me and I really like where the story went and how it ended. I do not think we have seen the end for these two and I look forward to what is next.
This is Edwin's story from Losing Faith (book 1 in the series). I had a love/hate relationship with Edwin in book 1 and I wasn't sure how I felt about him in the beginning of this book. He definitely redeemed himself. I loved the way he explained everything to Andrea and didn't push her. I'm so glad Edwin finally got his story told.
I can't wait for the next book. I love this series.
I’ll admit it took me a bit to get into this installment. I really didn’t like Edwin, Andrea or Brian. About halfway in Edwin redeemed himself and I appreciated the care he took with Andrea. I enjoyed this sexy tale that highlights the difference between a caring Dom and a bully. Break out the ice water and a bit of patience.
In His to Command by R.C. Wynne (book #4), Edwin wants to forget, Andrea just wants him gone. However when they come together for work they have more in common than they first thought. I enjoyed this book I received through bookfunnel. This book along with other books in the series are available on Amazon
Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were interesting. Edwin punished for his office antics. At Rutherford company Andrea is treading on thin ice. Andrea is sassy, cheaky, has innocence around her and is gorgeous.

Loved this book so much. I enjoyed it so much that I could not put it down. Edwin and Andrea are fantastic characters. They are so different but so alike. I really loved it so much that I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Great story with good character development. I feel like I really know these two and I enjoyed their chemistry. The story seemed a little slow in some places, but overall I enjoyed it.

I received this from the author in exchange for a review. I really loved this book. It was a nice introduction for me into the world of bdsm. I haven't read the other books in this series but I will be adding them to my tbr list.
R.C.Wynne is such a masterful story teller. His to Command is the fourth book in the Rutherford Series, and is the best so far. Not only does Mr Wynne continue the exploration of plural relationships, and BDSM he goes into the negative as well, and the fall-out from when one goes awry. This is what happens with Edwin and Andrea. The awry was with two other people that are in the same company as they. I loved the way that the story was told, you could feel the emotions of Edwin as he tried to analyze and justify his feelings for Andrea, after having gotten in trouble with Faith, Selby and Cherish in Losing Faith. Neither he nor Andrea want to lose their jobs at Rutherford Construction, but nor are they certain that they want to have each other or lose their possible bond. This book hits many emotions and there are heart wrenching moments and moments that make you chuckle. ie., "Happy people are productive people."
"You've been reading motivational posters, haven't you?"
"I was at a Barnes and Nobles a few days back Browsed through some wall calendars." Again later during a drunken battle with her self, Andrea makes mention of " Buttscuttle ". I just loved it. Such a creative way with words. I am truly excited to see what the next book im this series brings us. I look forward to it.
