I loved Floratopia. I highly recommend the book to horticulture and garden professionals as well as gardening newbies, and aspirational gardeners. Why? Because the tips and techniques are practical, smart, and easy-to-understand, there are gorgeous photos on just about every page ~ and all from author Jan's portfolio, (not super edited glamour shots although her photos are indeed glamorous!), and I like the first-person "voice." Looking forward to implementing these tips! I really appreciated how many of the plant suggestions are deer resistant; I feel encouraged and braver about planning a garden that will have a better chance against hungry creatures.

Beautiful book, lovely photos. A bit disjointed in presenting these ideas, though.
