I loved Floratopia. I highly recommend the book to horticulture and garden professionals as well as gardening newbies, and aspirational gardeners. Why? Because the tips and techniques are practical, smart, and easy-to-understand, there are gorgeous photos on just about every page ~ and all from author Jan's portfolio, (not super edited glamour shots although her photos are indeed glamorous!), and I like the first-person "voice." The book is exactly what it claims to be, a book of individual illustrated tips and suggestions meant to stimulate one's interest in flower gardening. I enjoyed the photos, commentary and got some great tips and suggestions!
Looking forward to implementing these tips! I really appreciated how many of the plant suggestions are deer resistant; I feel encouraged and braver about planning a garden that will have a better chance against hungry creatures.
