The first time Anna tried to read a romance novel, her hair caught on fire when she leaned over a candle to sneak a peek at her mom’s Harlequin. She thinks being hit on the head with a shirtless Fabio until the smoke cleared is what sparked the flame for her love of romance.
Anna was born in Wisconsin, but currently lives in Texas with her husband and two boys. She writes sexy romance that always has a happy ending and loves bringing characters back for cameos. Less than six degrees of separation connects any of her novels.
When she’s not writing or reading, she’s watching reruns of her favorite romcoms, talking to her dog and cat like they’re human, eating carbs, or practicing hand lettering.

I love this series! Each book is unique while building on the friendships & relationships throughout. I love the writing & flow of the series!
Surface:
Steady (which is about Paisley's adoptive parents) is one of my all-time favorites by this author - which is saying a lot because I pretty much am in love with ALL of her books! Paisley & Royce's story jumps right in to their relationship, and they're together for most of the book. I LOVE this! I love that the story is ABOUT their relationship, and there is definitely some drama, but it's outside & they are together for it.
The world-building that happens w/ Anna Brooks is so well done that every time I read a new story from her, I want to REread the stories before - and I want the next stories to be available RIGHTNOW! ;) So, I highly recommend this author, and especially this story. It's gonna make you want to go back & read all her other work if you haven't already!
Drift:
Oh my heck, this book!!! I fell in love with Carter & Billie SO HARD! This story is fantastic!!! They both have some things in their pasts to work through, but the way they meet ... and meet ... and meet again is just so adorable. The way they help each other through, both emotionally & physically, is so well paced and well written, I didn't want to put the story down - even after I finished, and it ended AWESOMELY! Definite recommendation & favorite shelf!!
Edge:
LOVE the steamy, swoony goodness that is this couple! Quinn & Wes made me fall in love with them, even through Quinn's bout of brattiness. They have great banter & wonderful chemistry!
Also well written & somewhat twisty were the bad guys in this story. I really enjoyed how those storylines played out.
Two thumbs up & AB continues to be on my favorite authors list!!

Loved it. Carter and Billie what a perfect pair. There are a lot secrets between the two and the journey to get to where they need to go is filled with ups and down. I love his alphaness, drool worthy. Billie's strong but doesn't show it that often. It was definitely a page turner and I loved the story and the other characters. I could not figure out where the title came from and it's not til the end until you find out. Well done.

Wes is a bodyguard at Royal Ace Security. He's been screwed by a woman and is a bit tainted in his life right now. He's assigned to Quinn who is a singer. As soon as he see's her, sparks fly, he's the only one who sees who she really is. Quinn gets stronger throughout the story and its a pleasure to watch her grow. There are loads of twists and turns, the characters are fully developed and fit the storyline perfectly. All the ranges of emotions are hit as a reader, crying, laughter, angst, happiness, doubt and love. What a great chapter in this series. It's definitely a page turner.
