As a teen, Cade Crawford crushed on Palmer Montlake. Hard. But Palmer was his best friend’s little sister. And she was definitely off-limits.

As an adult, he was still in love with her. But he couldn’t act on it. Not only because of his best friend, but because he now represented her. He was her talent agent. And Cade didn’t mix business with pleasure.

But Palmer was always good at breaking the rules. At least, Cade’s rules. When they finally got together, Palmer made him promise to keep their relationship a secret. He knew they shouldn’t lie to their family and friends, but what could he do?

He was in love. Like I want to marry this girl love.

But their bliss was short-lived. During a heated argument over her next movie contract, they broke up. Palmer’s brother found out. And Cade’s face took a beating because of it. Not only did Cade lose the love of his life that day, but he lost his best friend too. And he only had himself to blame.

Six years later, they all still hate each other. And Cade has done a good job of avoiding both his hurt feelings and Palmer over the years. Until recently. The universe keeps throwing them together, and Palmer seems to be everywhere.

When Cade catches the garter and Palmer catches the bouquet at a wedding, sparks fly between them. Sparks that shouldn’t be there but definitely are. Is this Cade and Palmer’s second chance at love? Or are they going to repeat the past, leaving them both with broken hearts and a broken love?

“Love is based on strong emotions and that strong emotions polarize us. That’s why I can both love Palmer and hate her at the same time. And right now, I hate that I still love her.”

There is something about Jillian Dodd’s writing I just love. I always read her books much too fast because I’m having too much fun to slow down. This book was sexy, sweet, fun and once I started it, I didn’t want to stop reading. I was taken by the second chance romance of Cade and Palmer! Not only is this a second chance romance, but it’s a brother’s best friend book as well. Double win in my book :)

I loved the Crawford brothers when I met them in Vegas Love, so when I saw the next book was Cade Crawford’s, I scooped it up. Cade is the oldest of the Crawford siblings and he’s been in love with the same woman for years. Her name is Palmer Montlake. Things didn’t work out the first time around for them. Partly because of a fight they had, but more in part because Parker’s older brother was Cade’s best friend.

Parker and Cade have kept their distance over the years, but 6 years later when their paths start to cross again, they can’t help themselves. The fire and the spark these two always felt is still there. Their chemistry is still intense. And all those old feelings they had come back stronger than ever.

“The passion I feel now is bolder. It’s audacious, dauntless. Every touch – every kiss – is familiar, but it’s laced with the kind of desperation only true love can bring.”

After finishing this book I am dying for not only a Carter Crawford book, but PIKE! I need more PIKE! I loved Palmer’s overprotective brother and I’m really hoping Jillian decides to write about him! This story was not only written in Palmer and Cade’s POV, but there were some chapters with Pike’s so you really got to know the guy and got to get in his head. What I know I love and I want more!

Broken Love is the perfect summer read. If you’re looking for a fun book that will leave a huge grin on your face with a swoony hero, a great heroine, steamy scenes and tons of sweetness- pick this one up!

I'm sure by now it's common knowledge that I love the brothers-best-friend trope, and that I'm always on the lookout for more. So when this book came in my Romance Reveal box yesterday and I read the blurb, I stopped everything and sat down to start it. Then I didn't do anything the rest of the night because I was so engrossed in this story.

I really loved the back and forth chemistry between Palmer and Cade. It kept me intrigues for this whole story and made me lose a whole night of sleep. I also enjoyed how we got only a little part of their past. We were shown the important things, but there weren't so many flashbacks that it got annoying. Instead it was easy to focus on the present and got to see them move on from what happened six years earlier.

Together they were a great couple, and they fit together really well. You could tell right from the beginning that they were destined to be with one another and it was cute. The moments they shared were always very sweet with the bonus of also being super hot. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that likes a truly romantic story, and to my fellow brothers-best-friend trope lovers.

I love this crazy awesome family!!! I really do!!! Cade is the best. I want him for myself. ;)

I enjoyed most of this book. I loved learning about Palmer's brother Pike and Cade's family.

What I did not enjoy, was the main character. Palmer annoyed me soooooo..... Much!!!! I wanted to punch her on the face with a chair!!!! Yes. She drove me that crazy!!

And that is why I gave this story 4 stars and not 5 like I wanted to do!!!

Broken Love (Love #2) by Jillian Dodd
4 stars!!

“The heart that truly loves never forgets.” – Proverb

Broken Love is the second book in Jillian Dodd’s love series, in the first book we read as Cash Crawford got his happily ever after but now another Crawford was in the mix, Cade.

Cade Crawford was Cash’s older brother and he had been in love with Palmer Montlake since she was fifteen. They had already had one bite of the cherry and it didn’t work out, but now their paths cross once again... Jillian Dodd delivers forbidden and second chance love in this slightly angsty, slightly emotional but incredibly swoon worthy story. My heart well and truly melted.

“I’ve got it so bad for you I may start writing poetry.”

Palmer Montlake was the younger sister of, Pike and Pike was Cade’s best friend. It is bro code that you do not mess with your best friend’s younger sister, but these two truly loved each other. Pike had entrusted his sister, Palmer into Cade’s safe hands as her agent but Cade made her wait six years before he gave in, he cherished his friendship with Pike but at the end of the day, the heart wants who the heart wants and his heart had been beating for Palmer for the past six years. Palmer was insistent that they kept their relationship a secret and when Cade proposed they were finally going to tell everyone, until one stupid argument, one stupid misunderstanding that blew everything to shit, including his friendship with Pike. That day, Cade not only lost the love of his life, he lost his best friend too, he lost everything and the other mantra…you should never mix business with pleasure.

Fast forward another six years and their paths cross once again, weddings have a habit of bringing people together, but for Cade and Palmer a lot of water has flowed under the bridge. Can they get past their past, can they air their differences, will they even give the other light of day? Well it seems that fate has other ideas and it seems that events keep pushing them together. But will history have a habit of repeating itself?

“My mother says love is based on strong emotions and that strong emotions polarize us. That’s why I can both love Palmer and hate her at the same time. And right now, I hate that I still love her.”

With a Jillian Dodd book I know that I will finally become a girly girl for a few hours, the world is a happy place where hearts and flowers and grand gestures are the everyday norm for her leading men and Cade is no different, but they never have it easy. Jillian Dodd never fails to feed the hopeless romantic that is forever present in my heart. Her books always make me sigh and swoon and they always leave me feeling hopelessly happy. I will say though, that Broken Love felt different from her norm and I loved it. This book had so many great plot lines none more so than Pike and Cade’s friendship itself. This book was hot, seriously, seriously, hot, Jillian Dodd really nailed that passion, that connection, that desperation that only soul mates can deliver, I found myself championing these two from the start and while I wanted to batter Palmer at times, I could understand her reasoning to an extent.

“The passion I feel now is bolder. It’s audacious, dauntless. Every touch – every kiss – is familiar, but it’s laced with the kind of desperation only true love can bring.”

Jillian Dodd delivers Broken Love predominantly through Palmer and Cade’s point of views, however she does give us a few from Pike’s and they were extremely welcomed. Pike plays a pivotal part in Cade and Palmer’s story and for me, this felt as much his story as that of Cade and Palmer’s, however, I desperately want him to have his own book. Pike was an adorable character and one that I want to get to know better.

3 second-chance stars!
"You marked my soul as yours a long time ago and never let go.”

Broken Love is the second book in the Love Series written by Jillian Dodd. I really enjoyed the first book, Vegas Love, and was excited to read about another Crawford brother. It is a sweet second-chance romance that is more than just a love story.

Cade and Palmer have loved each other for years but could not act on it when the attraction first began. The six year age difference delayed the inevitable, but also Palmer was Cade's best friend, Pike's, sister and everyone knows little sisters are off limits. The night Palmer turned twenty one, they finally gave into their desires and jumped into a secret relationship full of love and laughter. It was pure bliss before everything suddenly fell apart. In one fell swoop, Cade not only lost the love of his life but also his best friend. Cade and Palmer went their separate ways; it seemed that their love wasn't meant to be.

Six years later, Palmer and Cade are reunited at the wedding of Cash and Ashlyn from Vegas Love. Cade and Palmer are frazzled by the attraction they still feel but are unwilling to address the past. They keep running into each other and it is clear that there is unfinished business.
As I walk down the beach alone, I realize that even after all these years I'm still broken. Because she's not in my life.

Both Palmer and Cade feel regret, pain, and sadness for how things turned out and the years they lost. They still love each other but they are stubborn and hurt, and can't seem to get it together. Then another chance meeting  brings them together again.
The passion I feel now is bolder. It’s audacious, dauntless. Every touch—every kiss—is familiar, but it’s laced with the kind of desperation only true love can bring.

Can their love last a second time? Or will the past be too hard to overcome?

I really liked Broken Love. It's a great second-chance romance that was sweet, steamy, and funny. I enjoyed the plot line and I liked how the past was told in flashbacks so we didn't get the whole story right away.  Cade and Palmer were great together and you could tell that they were meant for each other.

Cade was a swoon worthy character and I loved how sweet he was to Palmer. When they are together I loved that he is all in and didn't question his feelings. I just wish he would have fought for her sooner and did something about how he felt.

Palmer was a confident, sexy woman who was fun to be around.  I really liked her but I think that some of her actions could have avoided a lot of the heartache.  Her stubbornness frustrated me and I wish she didn't run like she did on more than one occasion.

I really enjoyed the side characters. Tory was a hoot and she was a great friend to Palmer.   I loved that we got to see the other Crawfords and more of Cash and Ashlyn.  The Crawford family is wonderful and I loved their support for each other.

I am not sure I loved all the detail about what Pike was going through even if he was a big part of the book. I liked that we got to see what was going on in his mind regarding Cade and Palmer, but at times it dove into Pike's life that didn't really seem to revolve around Palmer or Cade and I felt like it was a completely different book. I liked the content but I wanted more Palmer and Cade and less Pike.

Was not a fan of the multiple POVs. Leave the second love interest for the next book. It took away from the main characters story. Cute read overall.

Currently reading and unfortunately I'm having a hard time staying on top of the story line. There's too many people to follow and too many point of views. Which kind of blows because I love Jillian Dodd's books....

I finished and unfortunately it didn't really improve. There was just too many POV's and it felt so rushed. Which really blows. As stated previously I love Dodd's books, including the first book in this series. But it just felt rushed and like there was too much going on with everyone else, but the main story line didn't have enough. That being said, I can't wait for the next Spy Girl book to come out!

Review by Lisa Kane
It there anything more scrumptious than a second chance at love romance?

Six years ago, Cade Crawford and Palmer Montlake had just secretly gotten engaged. He was her agent and her acting career was just starting to take off. He's was few years older than her, was her brother Pike's best friend and the love of her life. He wanted to come clean with her brother about their relationship, but Palmer didn't want to do that. She knew that Cade had once been a player and her brother was not going to react well about them being together. But a great acting opportunity came up and things between Cade and Palmer went south. There was a nudity clause in the contract and Cade refused to let Palmer have any part in that. She reacted violently and thought Cade was jealous and should have let it be her own decision.

"Not told me about the deal of a lifetime? I can't even believe you'd be willing to risk my career over a fucking sideboob!"

She fired him, they broke up, and they avoided each other for the next six years.

As I walk down the beach alone, I realize that even after all these years, I'm still broken. Because she's not in my life.

Pike and Palmer are close. He is a pitcher for the Tampa team, and is about to play in the World Series. Palmer's acting career is firmly established and she can hardly keep up with her schedule. She's dated over the years but she's never found anyone that she cared about in the way she loved Cade. They've managed to avoid each other's company, even though Palmer is friends with his whole family. He and Pike had a huge blow out when Palmer broke up with him and the two haven't spoken since.

All that is about to change. Cade and Palmer find themselves running into each other and it's getting harder and harder for both of them to deny the feelings they still have for each other. At Cade's brother's wedding it's a garter and a bouquet that brings them together. A storm in Tahoe leaves them no choice but to spend the night together and a competitive game of Dirty Scrabble seals the deal.

I thought if we got together again I would spend days soaking in her beauty. Hours giving her pleasure, before I would allow it for myself.
But I don't care about that right now.

But can there ever be anything between them, given her brother's feelings? Pike has his own problems and he is trying to come to terms with a lousy hand he's been dealt.

Broken love has all the makings of a good read-drama, sex, angst, intrigue. I have to admit I am going to read Vegas Love the first book in this series. These Crawford men are delicious and I don't want to miss a single bite!

Oh My. This book. I have so much to say, so much to express. However I'm also sort of speechless. First let me start with, I received an Arc of this book. So I won't put any spoilers.

Broken love is PHENOMENAL. Seriously, it's a great read. Jillian Dodd has done it again, she's made me fall in love with yet another hunky handsome man! She just has this ability to write about hotties, not only their looks but their beautiful personalities. This book had a very gentle flow that occasionally turned into a rapid river of feelings. If that makes any sense? It does to me. It will to you after you read it!

Let me tell you, I'm in love with the Crawford boys! Cade's younger brother Cash was spicy and hot, but she amped it up with Cade. I would say this was one hot book. Cade had everything a good book boyfriend needs; smoking hot looks, passionate heart, successful career and last but not least... He was sex on a stick!

Palmer also highly satisfied my need for a sweet leading lady. She had everything she needed in life but her soul mate! Palmer was such a well balanced character. I really felt like I got to know her through out the book, by the end I was so attached to her. She had real moments that were very easy to connect to, she felt like my friend.

Also, palmers super hot baseball playing brother! Can someone please get me a nice tall glass of water! Pike is smoking hot man and also a pretty dang good brother to.

Oh! The supporting characters are awesome to, I love the Crawford family atmosphere, and her bestfriend Tory! Both were equally funny and so very supportive!

So about the actual story line! This isn't just boy meets girl. Jillian has written an angsty story about two people who have known each other forever! So there is years (and I mean it, you feel all of the years) of sexual tension! You will be eager and desperate as they find their way back to each other despite everything in the way.

If you haven't read the first one of this series, it's alright! This can be read as a stand alone. Which is great because it's so different from the first. Put this on your must read list, I promise you won't regret it. Jillian just writes books that capture you and light up your heart!

This is the second book in the Love series and I am excited to announce that it is a second chance love story! These are like my reading drug because there is usually an element of angst, misunderstandings and potential secrets to be revealed. Broken Love has all of that and more.

I really believe that when you find your ‘person’, your one true love, you will never forget how good it felt to be with them. Even if it at some point the relationship ended, the good memories completely outweigh the sad ones. If you go on to date other people you find yourself unconsciously measuring them against what you had once with your ‘person.’

Cade & Palmer are each other’s ‘person’ but after a break up six years ago, that neither of them have ever recovered from, they find themselves in a similar situation to the night they first hooked up. What is it about weddings? Palmer’s brother Pike is/was best friends with Cade but once he discovered they had been dating in secret and made a few assumptions, that friendship was over and has been for six years. That in itself was another loss for Cade, he lost his girl and his best mate.

When you work in Hollywood, your circle of close friends needs to be small so it was inevitable that Cade & Palmer would see each other when his brother Cash married his Vegas bride, Ashlyn. That familiar pull is definitely heightened when they are around each other and resisting it is proving hard. They both can’t stop thinking about each other but they seem reluctant to open themselves up to potential hurt. Until a snow storm changes everything!

‘The passion I feel now is bolder. It’s audacious, dauntless. Every touch – every kiss – is familiar, but it’s laced with the kind of desperation only true love can bring.’

What will be different this time though? Will Palmer finally be honest with her brother, instead of making Cade feel like he is naughty her secret?

Sometimes the only person that can fix a broken heart is the person who broke it in the first place and these two both played a part in what happened all those years ago. It’s time for some honesty.

I just love everything that Jillian Dodd writes and this story was no exception. This is another fabulous, fun & romantic read!

I love the plot, second chance romance, and the whole "my best friend's sister" theme. I thought it would be more of a love-hate relationship with more tension between the two, but it's really about these two pining for each other...
I really like Pike but i find having his POV in the book to be highly distracting. Pike has the bigger story and stole the show here, his part of the book having more substance and emotional depth. He deserves to have his story put in his own book. In a way i feel like this story is a love triangle with Palmer not being able to choose between loyalty to her brother and her love for Cade. My main problem is I relate to Pike more than i do Cade & Palmer and i end up liking him more than i like the two main characters.. We don't get a chance to really get to know these two as much as we should.
I've read all of Jillian's books and i love all her heroines, except for Palmer. We got a glimpse of Palmer in Vegas Love and my first impression of her was favorable: confident, independent, elegant, strong. Not sure how i got that idea because this Palmer is none of those things. She seems indecisive and insecure and honestly... kind of self centered, childish and selfish. I mean, come on, hearing that her brother beat her ex up and she didn't try to set the record straight? They broke up their life long friendship because of her and she doesn't try to patch things up? She's having Cade's baby but decide to reject him because she's too much of a coward to fight for him and to even talk to her brother?? I feel bad for Cade because she honestly doesn't deserve him, he's loyal, sweet and affectionate, and she just tramples all over him. Twice. Such a letdown for me... I dunno, maybe i misunderstand her character, but i am not interested in rereading her story.
Oh and, i could really do without the mention of Keatyn in every single book... Enough with the name dropping. I love the Keatyn chronicles, but she has no place in this series.

Cade and Palmer had one of those romances where they felt the other was the "one that got away". Through a series of miscommunications, their love just never really could get set back on course. Years later after they catch the garter and bouquet at a wedding, can they possibly reconnect? Or is it time to move on and let go of this broken love?

“Sand angels are what you do when there’s no snow.”

“I’ve lived by the beach my whole life and never made a sand angel,” I tease.

She presses her lips against mine. “I want us to experience the rest of life’s firsts together, Cade.”

I love that in all of Jillian's novels that there is such a strong sense of family and that definitely came through in Broken Love. I was Team Cade from word one. Through all of the frustrating misunderstandings, you could really feel Cade’s heart and character. Definitely the definition of a “good guy” that you would want your daughter or sister to end up with. I jumped right into this second chance love story with both feet because when you find your soul mate, you belong together for life. Palmer just had to work it out in her mind where it went wrong which is where some angst comes in. I think if the Crawford family is ever in the need of a few more kids, I might volunteer for adoption just for the brownie recipe.

If you enjoy a good series about brothers and a supportive family, you will love reading about Cade and Cash. I really want to know more about Pike, Palmer’s brother. And of course, we need Carter’s story as well. I’m all in!

Broken Love is the perfect summer book. It’s light and sweet and oh so romantic! I’m disappointed that I finished the book so quickly.

I read this book in less than 24 hours. I couldn’t put it down. Who doesn’t love a man who is close to his family, willing to do anything for the love of his life and did I mention he’s HOT. I didn’t think so. He really is swoon worthy! I hope all of the Crawford Men are getting books as well!

Cade has been in love with his best friends little sister for years, 12 years to be exact. He briefly had her but a disagreement about a contract lead to Palmer not only firing Cade as her agent but also ending their relationship. Six years has passed since that horrible night.

Palmer has reached the top of her career and realizes what she gave up to get there. After the one –that- got -away catches the garter at his brother’s wedding, Palmer is that much more determined to A. catch the bouquet and B. get her man back; the one thing that stands in the way is the friendship; that their relationship ended six years ago.

This book is all about second chances at friendships, love and happiness.

What happens when you throw away the love of your life for sideboob? It's amazing what stubbornness, broken friendships, and a broken heart can do to your life.

Cade and Palmer have always had a spark, but when Palmer takes her stubbornness to another level, their relationship changes.

Broken Love is a story of hurt, being afraid to admit when your wrong, but most importantly making everything right so that you can move forward.

You will not want to miss this roller coaster of emotions thanks to Jillian Dodd. I can promise there will be times you giggle, full out laugh your ass off, and times when you will want to knock some sense into multiple characters.

BROKEN LOVE is a STANDALONE, CONTEMPORARY ROMANCE NOVEL following Cade and Palmer from the USA Today Bestseller, Vegas Love.

The Love Series is a series of STANDALONE novels featuring a different Crawford sibling. They can be read by themselves. However if you do with to read them all, they are best enjoyed in order.

Review:
5 Hot Stars

This book is the second Crawford Brother Book in the Love Series. These men are some real hotness. I loved this family from the first book and I couldn't wait to read about Cade. He has set the pace for the family. He owns the agency that his brothers work for and has some strict rules. Mainly you never mix business with pleasure. In this book you get to see why that's one of his main rules.

Cade and Palmer fell in love when she was young. Cade is best friends with Palmer's brother Pike. Which is why Cade stayed away from Palmer for so many years. He tried to resist her only to fail miserably. They had a secret relationship for a while only to have that turn bad over a misunderstanding. With that Cade loss his best friend and his love.

Six years later Cade and Palmer are thrown together again. They finally get to discuss the reasons behind their prior breakup. They are working through their issues but the main one is the acceptance of their relationship from her brother. They have to mend lots of old wounds.

This story was a great addition to the series and I hope its leading into more books and more hot characters. I love Jillian's writing style and will read anything she puts out.

Broken Love is a really sweet second chance meets best friends little sister romance. I think I was expecting something a lot more angsty when I read the blurb so as I got into this I was so happy to see that it had a lot less drama and a lot more sweetness than I anticipated, as well as a heap of smoking hot sex scenes, and I loved it.

Cade was such a sweetheart. He wore his heart on his sleeve and was so openly head over heels in love with Palmer I loved him. That said I really would have liked him to man up a few times and stand up for himself more, not that he bent over for anyone but there were a few moments there where I would have forgiven him for screaming “What the fuck?” in a few faces and maybe have things go his way a little (or a whole heap more) rather than being a stand up guy and trying to make everyone around him happy.

And obviously one of those people was Palmer. She was a bit of a dumbfuck I am sorry to say. While I can understand her hiding her relationship initially from her brother when they first started but damn did she drag that out to the end and cause untold misery by being a stubborn idiot. Now I didn’t hate her per say so much as I just felt like her choices were stupid and she over reacted and held onto petty crap way too long.

Palmer was wickedly funny in her inner dialogue and her best friend / assistant cougar was awesome and their relationship and conversations had me laughing out loud a few times. I really hope Tory gets her own book cause I am sure she will be hysterical and entertaining to the very end. I loved her.

The families and secondary characters in this book were flawless and I really am enjoying this series. I am not sure if I want to see another Crawford brother get his book next or maybe Palmer’s brother, Pike, or her assistant Tory bet whichever way it goes I will be there with my one click happy little finger making sure it lands on my kindle.

Broken Love is a great second chance romance, it can be read as a stand-alone and I found it super easy for me to escape into the fantasy world of the Crawford brothers! Cade and Palmer's first chance at romance crashed as quickly as it started. An unnecessary fight, a misunderstanding, a bad choice to keep their love secret and the brink of stardom all combined to create the perfect storm, one so powerful even the strength of first true love couldn't withstand

Years later Cade and Palmer continue to find themselves in the same social circles, neither one is over the other, but pride and doubt keep them from opening the lines of communication. Eventually though these two are forced together and thus begins the story of two soul mates, two individuals who are more seasoned in life expectations and know what they want. But as we all know HEA's are never served on silver platters and these two still have some major hurdles to overcome before they can have theirs.

Cade is such a great book boyfriend. From the very beginning he has always put Palmer first, even when it wasn't easy, even when it cost him not only the love of his life but also his best friend. Talk about swoon-worthy! Now that the door to Palmer's heart has been re-opened again he will stop at nothing to win her back, vowing to never let it go again.

Palmer is hesitant to trust Cade to let him back into her life and then there's the issue of her big brother. I wanted so badly for Palmer to not be scared to tell Pike the truth (which by the way ended up being a character who took me by surprise - Jillian if you're reading this give this boy a book! I think he's got a story itching to be told). At times I found Palmer frustrating, but in the same breath I loved how down to earth this girl is and how loyal she is to family.

Broken Love is a perfect summer/beach escape and I think you should add it to your summer TBR list ASAP. As always Jillian's provided us fans with another fun escape from our own realities!

WOAH! If you are looking for a sinfully sexy, sweep you off of your feet Summer read, Broken Love is where it's AT!!! GUYS, I was completely taken aback with how much I LOVED this book. I have come to realize that Author Jillian Dodds loves to throw us for a loop with each of her stories. Each of her books have this charm about them, and they also have super rad characters. But mostly, her books are my weakness. Truth...I have learned that I am weak when it comes to her heroes and her heroins. With Broken Love, it's just the same; I was enamored with Palmer and Cade.

If you have read Vegas Love, you are somewhat in the loop with Palmer and Cade. You know they have some history and unfinished business. So when I started this book, all I could think about was, WHY? Why are you guys so weird with each other? Why aren't you friends? Why is there such a rift in that relationship? And what is the real true story behind these two? All of these questions ran rampant while I read BL.

With Cade and Palmer everything's a tad bit more complex. What I really really loved about BL, was that Cade and Palmer have a story riddled with angst. And why wouldn't there be angst? These two share a big past, HUGE actually. They have the chance to rekindle or destroy their foundation that was already rocked hard. We see these two struggle, fight, win some, and then lose some. This is a trial and error story about second chances at living fully and finding love all over again.

Another HUGE hit from Author Jillian Dodds. She knows how to tell a steamy, quick love story. She is the queen of LOVE! With each book her range grows, as do her characters. Each more complicated than the last. I cannot wait to see what her next installment of this series brings; I see BIG things for this next book.

JILLIAN DODD!!!! Can I be a bigger Jillian Dodd fangirl? I simply love her. Vegas Love? Swoon. Broken Love? SIGN ME UP! And second chance love stories are my second favorite type of romances behind straight up romantic comedies. So I was psyched for this book.

We have the love story of another Crawford brother-Cade. Cade and Palmer had once been in love, in their younger years. Palmer's brother, Pike, and Cade were best friends. Palmer and Cade decided to hide their romance from their families. When a disagreement split them up, Pike found out and their friendship went sour. Fast forward a few years, none of them have spoken and guilt has been piled on. Palmer is an actress and Cade used to be her agent. Pike is a big league pitcher in the big leagues. When the wedding of Cade's brother puts Palmer in front of Cade again, it starts Cade's matchmatcing family's plans in motion.

Honestly, seeing this story from both of their points of view, I am surprised they didn't get together earlier. It is clear they were both madly in love with each other and the disagreement that split them apart was so silly. Like Cade, I thought they would sort it out within a few days. But no, years went by. And when the wires were finally crossed, man, the sparks flew. They fell right back, comfortably, into a relationship. Where they belonged. It was nice.

I really liked reading this story of this couple. I also like the side story of her brother and I hope he is the next book in the series. Or maybe it's the next Crawford brother? I guess only time will tell!

I would give this 4 stars. At times, the story drifted and got a bit cheesy. Others it fast-forwarded a bit quickly. But it was a great, quick read that I would recommend! Such a great addition to the Dodd family <3

I'm a huge fan of Jillian's her style of writing is flawless and flows in a way that is easy to read. Palmer and Cade aren't together but you can feel the love they have for each other it's in every word on the page, every look, every interaction between them, they are like magnets always drawn to each other. I liked how the story took us between past and present so we could see what happened between them and between Cade and Pike, Palmers brother. I couldn't out it down as I was so invested in their story, I wanted them to work it out, I wanted Pike to stop being an idiot and accept them even if he thought he had good reasons not to. It's a beautifully written second chance love story with secondary characters that I want to know more about, can't wait for Pike's story.

Broken Love is book 2 in The Love Series. Broken Love is Cade and Palmer's story - characters from Vegas Love. You do not need to read Vegas Love before Broken Love. In hearing about Ashlyn and Cash's romance, I want to go read Vegas Love!

Cade and Palmer's relationship was the story Hollywood movies are made of. Until it wasn't. 6 years later, they're being thrown in each others path repeatedly. They still haven't settled anything but Cade's family is determined that they will.

Cade hasn't told Palmer why he thinks their relationship ended, Palmer hasn't told Cade why she thinks their relationship ended so it's obvious these two need to talk. Plus Cade lost his best friend (Palmer's brother) over their relationship.

This was a sweet, funny book that made me laugh and my heart sigh.

4.5☆ One thing the description doesn't tell you is Pike, Palmers brother, plays a large role in the story and has many pov parts to the story. He plays a key role in the plot and to Palmer and Cade's relationship. I liked how playful and fun the book was and still had serious drama and an interesting plot. I really liked the added bonus of Pike. At first I was unsure how I felt about the story not just being the two of them, but I really liked what he added to the story and how he affects the storyline. I really liked the journey if Cade and Palmer's relationship. It was sweet, sexy, and some suprises. It is a short novel, I read it in like 3 hours, I couldn't put it down! I really enjoyed it and it was a very happy and fun read.

Jillian never disappoints and Broken Love is no different. We meet the second Crawford brother, Cade, and follow him and Palmer as they try and find their way back to each other. In true Jillian fashion, this book is fun, easy read with just enough angst to keep the reader engaged in the story. We see so many of favorites from other Jillian books which makes the story all that more fun. This is the perfect summer read for lounging around the pool or on the beach so make sure you pick this one up!

Nothing Broken here

What a fantastic second chance love story and follow up to Vegas Love. This book follows Cade, older brother of Cash, and Palmer. They dated several years ago, and haven't been able to be in the same room as each other since then. Can they overcome what broke them apart the first time?
This was a sweet story with a focus on family, my kind of books. Looking forward to the next book.

The only reason why I read this book was because I had purchased it before reading the first book in the series. This book was not much better from book 1. There were too many POV's and once again, we have people crying throughout the book when there was no reason to. It seemed that was the 'go to' emotion for all of them. Once again, disappointed with this story.

Will not read anymore books by this author.
