Fans of Samantha Cole's know who Jordyn is and how she fits into the Trident Security series but we didn't know much about her past..................until now. I loved finding out what shaped her and how she became one of my favorite characters. We also get to meet T. Carter before he became well known also. This was a quick read but a very good read! I kind of want to know what happened to Jack now! LOL

So I switched series, because it's recommended reading this one before starting book 7 in the Trident Security series. And I'm happy I did. It gives a lot more depth to Jordyn and Carter's story, even though there is no spice. There is though a lot of insight to their past, to their overall dynamic and a lot of tension, that will carry over to their actual book.

If you have ever wondered what really started Jordyn Alvarez on her criminal path, this is the book you have been waiting for. Not only did the reader get a glimpse of a young girl struggling for acceptance and love, they also get an insight into what makes her tick. And the first spark between Jordyn and T. Carter is just what we had hoped for!! Makes me want to go back and re-read their Trident Security Book - once again Samantha A. Cole doe snot disappoint!!

What a Fantastic look back into how Jordyn became partners with T. Carter. I loved this very emotional start in life that was dealt to her. Knowing that the sparks between her and my favorite Deimos character who drops into the Trident Security Compound a lot got started!! A wonderful look at Jordyn in her pre Carter days was Awesome! Loved this new Samantha a. Cole

I wish I could have been a fly and been around for Carter and Jordyn’s training. I loved learning her background in depth. Their exploits could be a whole new series to be riveted to.

If you’ve was any of the Trident Security books, you’ll know Jordyn Alvarez plays quite a character, and while she’s kick a$$ in the field, much of her life is a bit of a mystery. I was stoked to find more about her past and how she ended up working with Carter!
I’m not going to go into the story because it’s quite compact but jam packed with the awesome writing of Ms Cole, but if you love the trident series, you’ll definitely want to check this one out!

Another great addition to the series.
Carter finally found his sub. Jordyn was a trained assassin, Carter trained her and they both had feelings for each other. One night together and she runs, afraid he wouldn’t want her and fear it ment nothing to him. She then finds out he’s a Dom and hates him as she believes wrongly that BDSM is abuse and she lives with her dad hitting her mum until he killed her then himself.
This book was interesting as she finds out about BDSM and finds it suits her and Carter together this is all whilst tracking down the ones that put a hit on her Carter and other agents.

What a wonderful way to discover the background story of one of my favorite strong woman characters, Jordyn Alvarez. This story was short but perfect and gives so much insight into her background and we get to see the moment that she meets T. Carter how their partnership began. Another winner by Samantha A. Cole and a fantastic story!

Okay but..
Love this author and the series but in all honesty think if I’d paid for this book would have felt short changed. Most of the relevant information was in her and Carter’s and this could have been a prelude chapter. Seems a common theme now for authors to put out very short reads to prelude or short novellas to make a complete book which I’m not a fan of.

Fun little novella about Jordyn. I’m coming into this series late so I’m able to read this is what I think is the correct reading order. Right now I’m reading Jordyn’s novella (this one) & now Carters prequel (no way in hell) before I eventually start their story “absolving his sins”. Glad I read this to have some history & details on the girl we’d briefly met in a previous book.

Another great book!
I love the Trident characters and this book was another great suspense story. It was a quick read and I didn’t want it to end. I gave it 4 stars because I found several typos or editing issues, but hey, no one is perfect and the story was great!

I seriously loved getting a better picture of Jordyn’s life, she is definitely one of my favorite characters in Samantha Cole’s Trident Security Series.

Jack Be Nimble is an interesting quick read. It's the back story of Deimos operative Jordyn Alvarez. Her tragic childhood, training in jewel and art theft, being stalked by an INTERPOL agent and finally her recruitment to Deimos where she meets the l9ve of her life, T. Carter. Darn good reading!

A quick introduction. With more detail into Jordyn Alvarez. We had met her briefly in a previous Trident Security story. This story gives us a more detailed back story on this little thief turned spy.

Jordyn's Beginnings
Loved this novella that chronicles Jordyn's early years prior to Deimos. Written in both Jordyn and Jack Graham's perspective, it takes you on an adventure through a planned heist and an FBI agent trying to stop her.

Having been a fan of Samantha's Trident Security series, I have always loved whenever the character Jordyn features in one of the books. She's a sassy lady and I loved learning of her past history and how she learnt her trade. This can totally be read as a standalone although I'd put money on readers dipping their toes for the first time being hooked and intrigued to read more of this fascinating character.

So glad we finally got Jordyn’s story! Since she was introduced in the Trident series, we have only gotten buts of Jordyn’s backstory. Now we get the whole story! Starting with her parent’s death and ending with her beginning her life with Deimos. Can’t wait to see whats in store for her in the future!
