The book was a bit too repetitive for me even though the scenes changed: the two main characters would be squabbling then the grumpy uncle would be scolding and finally the episode of back into time then returning to present to find it didn't work. Repeat....

The characters were hard to get along with or to even want to get to know. All in all it was a hard book for me to swallow while I don't know whether I would recommend it for young adults. The only thing that actually turned out to be decent was how the book ended up but even that had to follow the same monotonous routine.
