Huge #11

Team Players

Rate this book
I’ve always been told I’m a team player…now my foster brothers want to put me to the test.
When I inherit a home from my long estranged father, it’s a dream come true. Pregnant and alone at nineteen, it’s just the break I need. Except, when I get the keys, I find out the house comes with a whole lot more than I bargained for…eleven huge football playing foster brothers who are about to become my housemates.
They’re the team my father devoted his life to training. If they can just stay fit they’ll be going pro before they know it. Gorgeous and ripped, they fill the house with their massive bodies and booming laughs.
I think they must be players, both on and off the field, and I hate them for stealing my father’s love. But first impressions can sometimes be very wrong.
They treat me like I’m a queen and look at me with eyes that tell me they want to fill me with their own version of team spirit.
I can’t imagine why one sane man would want a knocked up cheerleader with so much baggage, let alone eleven. But the longer we spend together, the more I fall for my foster brother dream team.
They want to stay together to make a home filled with love for me and my child.
Eleven men want to be my second chance.
Except people like me don’t deserve second chances and if they can’t see that, I’m going to have to make them.

My biggest harem ever! And what a harem it is.
Maggie is nineteen and pregnant but the father wants nothing to do with her.
When her mom calls Maggie's long estranged father, she finds out that he died and left Maggie a house in his will. But that's not all he left behind.
Maggie's about to stumble into a new world with eleven gorgeous football playing foster brothers who want to make a home for her and the baby. But will she agree?

The men in this book were so much fun to write and I love the forced proximity that comes with becoming roommates overnight. Come and join Maggie and Harley, Hunter, Trey, Reggie, Daryl, Donovan, Dwayne, Gordon, Sean, Logan, and John. I promise you'll end up loving them all as much as I do!

ARC = There are very few authors that I will stop reading other books for. Stephanie Brother is at the top of my list. These books are out of the box thinkers that are written so well that as you are reading, thinking, 'Nope!' and quickly change to, 'If there were such good men in the world, HECK FIRE YEAH!' The way Ms. Brother writes opens worlds that SHOULD be real.
Must read !!!

Ooo okay so where do I start,
I've been an a menage streak and I thought the more the merrier so why not shack up with 11 men
< img src="https://giphy.com/gifs/thebachelor-ab..." / >
but after this book I've realized there is a limit to how many men I can logically imagine in a menage scenario and 11 is about 7 too far for me. That being said this author is pretty good, she is very talented when it came to building individualized characters, but it's just not possible to make you feel a deep connection between the lovers when there are so many of them.

I'm still smiling after finishing this book. Stephanie Brother is Queen of RH reads.

Maggie, girl!! I'm so happy for you and totally Not jealous at all. I just want to know where you can sign up. I'll take twins, Triplets, or maybe 11 "foster brothers." Yes, 11!!

There's the twins Harley and Hunter. The Triplets Donovan, Daryl and Dwayne. John, Logan, Gordon, Sean, Trey and Reggie. So many personalities but they're sweet... and Hot. Let's not forget that part. Lol.

The steam melted my kindle, soooo good. 😍
But the story of loss and feeling lonely and trying to figure out life. Especially when the unexpected happens. That was everything. People coming together, finding love, trust, self love and pushing through when things get difficult.

Maggie and her guy's relationship isn't conventional. People will judge them but who cares. Love is love. Family is what you make it. You decide what your happy ending is.
Enjoyable, swoon worthy story for sure.

This is Stephanie Brother’s biggest harem yet. I thought the Jackson and MacGregor brothers were sexy but this group of hot as hell ballers are something else.
Maggie finds herself nineteen, pregnant and abandoned by the father of her child. Sad news and fate deliver her to a house full of her foster brothers and she begins a journey of sexual and emotional discovery.
This is a sweet story and the main characters are well written despite the number of men! You also get to catch up with one of Stephanie’s previous harems.
There’s plenty of sexy action and moments of real tenderness.
Another great addition to Stephanie’s back catalogue.

If you want an author who excels at writing reverse harem stories that seem like they are possible in the real world, look no further than Stephanie Brother. She is an expert at writing books that are funny, sweet, sexy, romantic and so much more. Team Players really tapped into the emotions of love and loss, loneliness, friendship, brotherhood and the challenge of becoming a teen mom with little support. I read this book in one sitting - I just couldn’t put it down until the happy ending!

2.5 stars.

So the vibe and the plot is very similar to 10 men by the same author, the whole concept of the harem is well balanced I guess, because we get to see her with different characters, there is a sort of build up and some angst round the end but I am here to talk about the smut because it's why I am here, aside from the smut, this book wasn't really much, I preferred 10 Men.

Overall, the smut was 🌶🌶🌶⭐⭐⭐ ( the dirty talk yall, Stephanie delivers some good dirty talk ) and this is what I was here for!!! also I live for Sean saying " Sit on it" .

I didn't like this book much. The story was too rushed without giving the time for the FMC to actually meet the guys and not jump straight in bed with them. I felt like the focus was only on the sex and all the rest was secondary.

His book was amazing! It hit all the feels. Maggie must come to terms with her past and present to be able to grab on to the love she doesn't believe she deserves. Her foster brothers are all wonderful and know from the start she is the one for them. I just fell in love with this book, and would highly recommend it!

Hit and sweet

Stephanie hits another one out of the ballpark again.

Or should I say football field? Lol.

This was a great story with a ginormous harem of broken boys who grew up to be amazing men, and a heroine who us finding herself while in the most difficult of situations. I love the links back to the previous book too.

Stephanie brothers has become one of my top authors to read. And this book did not disappoint!!!

I agree with the thought process Maggie had but I mean who can resist 11 amazingly hot men who only want what is best for you! This is one of the biggest reverse harems yet and the fact that Maggie finally gets to experience the love she has so badly been missing out on is amazing! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

Great

Maggie is 19 and pregnant, the baby's father wanting nothing to do with her or the baby. Now Maggie is moving to a house her father left her. Unknown to her is her father's foster sons are still there. They were his pride and joy team. What will happen will the guys want to take care of her and the baby? Can Maggie really be with 11 guys? Will there be a HEA?

Another fantastic read! Maggie just finds out she’s pregnant and the father doesn’t want to be there then gets some bad news and has to go to her dads. There she meets her 11 foster brothers. They want to take care of her and the baby whether it be as brothers or lovers. Such sweet and protective guys! Maggie got really protective of them also! Love how the author brings the story to life! Great characters and storyline! Very well written. It was nice seeing the Jacksons again! Very enjoyable read and I highly recommend! Received arc and am voluntarily leaving an honest review

She’s a team player.

Or rather, a pregnant, nineteen year old who is a people pleaser.

Maggie now has a whole new team to please and maybe please her, too. Just go with it and enjoy the RH fantasy.

I normally enjoy reverse harem books a lot and going into this book I had a “the more the merrier” mindset, but I’ve discovered that is not the case, particularly within the bounds of the average book length. In order to do justice to the story of 12 different people, I think this book would have needed to be twice as long at least. I did enjoy what I did get to see of most of the characters. However, I hated 90% of the plot outside of the actual relationship. I hate the idea that death fixes everything. Or that because he was a good dad to other people that makes up for him being a shit dad to Maggie. Also, with RH books it’s very easy to cross over the line into misogyny and sexism and unfortunately I feel like this book did a few too many times for me personally. I also hate romance plots that are predicated on the parties in the relationship making a conscious choice not to talk to one another about something important. It’s lazy and overdone. And I felt the epilogue didn’t go out far enough. I wanted closure on whether any of the boys made it to the NFL and we didn’t get that.

Also, this is less of a big deal than everything else in the review, but I still feel compelled to mention it. This book contained one of my biggest pet peeves. At one point Maggie has a thought about “I don’t know if twins run in Justin’s family”. THAT’S NOT HOW TWINS WORK. It only matters if twins run in the mother’s family. I don’t care that Maggie is 19 and stupid, authors need to stop perpetuating that misconception.

Time to be a team player

I'm never disappointed by Stephanie Brother. She has a way of making fantasy feel real. Her male characters have diverse personalities that mesh well together and they always fully support their heroine.

In the case of Team Players, Maggie is astranged from her father but is in need of his help only to discover he has passed. Thinking all is lost, she comes face to face with the life he built away from her. Only there are 11 faces left behind in the form of her 11 step-brothers 🔥🔥🔥 All college football players, all foster brothers and all want to take care of Maggie and the baby she is carrying, be it as her brothers or her lovers. Maggie has a lot of baggage for a 19 year old to deal with and trust issues, not just trust in others but trusting herself. With 11 sexy, athletic men promising to help her will she be able to over come her past and move forward?

This book has the biggest reverse harem Stephanie Brother's has written to date and I would highly recommend reading this book. Her mix of steamy heat, fatansy come to life situations and complex love connections is always a guaranteed HEA for me.

Readers will cheer Maggie on to her own HEA!

This story has a ton of fabulous steam, yet the storyline is real and heartfelt. Maggie grew up mostly without her father, and his absence causes her to lose her confidence in being worthy of love. Her character will endear itself to readers as she faces things as they come and doesn't shift blame when it comes to her mistakes. The things she endures will break your heart because you will want her to feel loved. That's where the boys come in! And a lot of boys it is, including a set of twins and a set of triplets!! All the fellas have such a great dynamic and are one big family. Tensions run high when Maggie attends one of their games and comes face to face with an outside force highlighting all the things she sees in herself as failures and faults. Admirably, she doesn't run away from the game so that the fellas don't worry about her and mess up their game performance. It's not an easy journey for Maggie, but she finally realizes that everybody deserves to be shown how loved they are, becoming a team player herself.

I really enjoyed their journey

Maggie has more problems than you can poke a stick at.

She got pregnant at 19 to a bloke who was her best friends ex. He told her to get rid off it.

Her mum’s mad at her and decides to palm her off to her dad. Only to make the call and find out he died 3 weeks ago but he left her something.

What she finds is a house she has a 12th share in as over the years her father took in 11 foster kids, all boys. And he left them all the house.

What she doesn’t expect is the connection to feels for these guys but her doubts and lack of self worth make her feel unworthy. After all, even her dad didn’t fight for her. Why would they want her in life with all her problems. But she soon discovers they all have something special that helps make her whole again while being the glue to hold them together too.

A fun read.

This author has easily become one of my all time favorites. She’s an author I don’t mind spending money on books for because I know they will be absolutely amazing which is so wonderful!

Team Players is a book I was instantly excited for the moment she shared it. The cover is absolutely stunning, like all her covers, and shows you so much of the book in it. It was wonderfully written and flowed so well. Impossible to put down. I don’t usually like books that have more than 5 guys but I knew I’d loved this on as soon as I saw the authors name in it. If you don’t think this book will be your thing because the number of men I can tell you that you’d be missing out by not reading this book because of that. Stephanie Brother kills it with this book!

I honestly understood Maggie all too well. She is like any girl. She’s nineteen and finds herself pregnant and alone. Not wanting to be a burden on her mom who was in her situation and knows how hard it will be on her. She’s constantly doubting herself and what she has to offer, wondering if she truly does ruin everything she touches. She questions what she knows about love and if her men could really love her. And finding herself along the way. And her men. They honestly captured my heart. Each one for a different reason than the next. Gordon the giant teddy bear who wants to protect those he loves. Being the most vulnerable but the toughest and most demanding. To Sean who is the charmer but secretly wants to be that romantic person in Maggie’s life. They all have something that makes them truly unique and perfect for Maggie. The perfect combination of men to help her grow and adapt.

With football, family bonds, scenes that had your heart melting, and steamy scenes in her general there’s a lot to love about this book. And 11 gorgeous men to make you heart pound. It had me crying a few tears, literally laughing out loud which caused my son to think I was losing it, smiling like a complete idiot and so much more. A definite MUST read book.

An interesting storyline and honestly super blessed this wasn’t an enemies to lovers story because it really could have turned into something like that

***SPOILERS***

My expectations are too high. They are always too highs I need to do better and really bringing that level down. It was fine…I had low expectations coming into this book so I mean it was fine

I struggled with Maggie as a character in general until the end of the book. She seems very weak at the beginning of the story when we see how she handles her friends with benefits punching a wall when he finds out she’s pregnant 🙄 then I struggle with her throughout the book because everyone just gives off the vibes that like her failed relationship with her dad is all her fault and not a shared failure between the two. No one ever seems to ask her about her thoughts/ feelings about their relationship and the expectation is that she let him down. It was annoying. Like she says “My father was willing to give these strangers luxuries that I've never had the chance to experience.” and that really hit home because you never really see much closure about stuff like this

I mean outside of her friend Cathy being just the worst kind of person in the entire world (no seriously she tells Maggie she hopes the baby dies) the characters are likeable but very one dimensional which I felt like she could have solved by having their tough backgrounds be brought up more when in reality we only get a single paragraph about it.

Team Players is a incredible reverse harem romance by the amazing Stephanie Brother. She gives us another great book feature all things we love in one of books.

Maggie is 19 only to discover she pregnant and the father wants nothing to do with them. To make matters worse her mother decide to call her father who she has not spoken to or seen in years about it.
Only to learn he passed away and left her house. She meets with her uncle to discover her dad not only left her the house but also left the house to the 11 foster boys he raised. When Maggie meets the guys for the first time it is a lot to take in.

The guys are Gordon, Logan, John, Sean, Trey, Reggie, the twins Hunter and Harley, the triplets Daryl, Donovan and Dwayne. This men in college and play football. Each of them has their own personal that has Maggie wanting more from them. But they already fall for her and want to be there her and her baby. Maggie does not trust easy and does not want to be what holds them back from their careers or be left behind when they get tired of play daddy. Can they make her see they can be the family she needs or will someone from the past help Maggie see things more clearly?

“Sometimes you meet a person, and they just fit. Like your soul can feel that they’re good people… someone worth trusting.”

I love this book it shows so much raw emotions. Team Players is my new favorite Stephanie Brother books. She gives us passion drama (hate cox and cathy) love and steamy sex scenes. She gives new characters and also bringing back Danna and her husbands. I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
