Kyuu-chan’s adventures continue in this delightful third volume!
As the bond between Hinata and his wonder cat deepens, their antics only grow wackier! While Kyuu-chan discovers how to make popcorn and do laundry, Hinata learns to love exercise. Plus, witness the heartwarming return of Ghost-kun!
This one’s more fun than you can shake your paw at!
Wonder Cat! Wonder Cat! I meant Kyuu-chan, but you knew that. Another book of smallish size, Narratively? No surprise! Look out, here comes the Wonder Cat!
Can he bake? Well why not? He’ll give anything a shot. If there’s one thing this series knows, It’s how far cats in clothing goes. Hey there, there goes the Wonder Cat!
I was reeeeally glad that they brought back the ghost… When he’s hugged by Kyuuuuuu, well he burns up like toast!
Wonder Cat! Wonder Cat! Charming in his socks and hats. A decent read, if you’re bored. Cuteness is your reward.
I guess… that if I had my druthers, I’d say each volume’s like the others, So three stars for Kyuu-uuu-chan!
Ah, nothing like reading about the adorable antics of Kyuu-chan to make your day better!
And better indeed it was!
I continue to love this series! It's the perfect simple slice-of-life that leaves me laughing and smiling with Kyuu-chan's pucker face being one of my new favorites! The way he loves Hinata-kun and snuggles with him often is never boring and always brings happiness to my heart. <3
I do wish I would have read this at Christmas time because some of the Christmasy scenes made me miss the holiday. LOL! (The winter scenes definitely make me in the mood for snow!)
I did decide to not do a full five starts because there were a few pages where I felt I missed the joke and didn't laugh or smile on EVERY page like I have in previous volumes.
I did STILL deeply enjoy it though and looking forward to reading the next volume!
"Happiness is closer than you think. We should come back here again."
Reading this series both on my break and after work has been the best pick-me-up ever! It's so refreshingly simple and easy to follow that I think this series works really well for both little ones, teens, and adults alike.
And this is another really strong volume filled with adorable shenanigans. As I was flipping through trying to pick a favorite scene or chapter, I basically ended up reading it for the second time today because it's just so easy to get absorbed in each and every page. I think I will say that I really love how fleshed out the secondary cast is becoming, as Hinata's world starts to expand and Kyuu-chan begins to meet new friends, including Hinata's bird-loving boss, Ogura's dog Mona-chan, and a really sweet baker who feels inspired by Kyuu-chan.
This is a series about bettering yourself, loving others, spending time with family, and taking part in your community. It is beyond refreshing and feel-good. I love it. <3
The continuing daily adventures and small interactions of Hinata and his pet Kyuu-chan with each other, co-workers, other animals, and neighbors.
This is a cute collection of little episodes in Kyuu-chan and Hinata's life. It's mostly light-hearted and feel good stuff. There is a ghost character, but it mostly just gives Hinata little chills and plays with Kyuu-chan.
Notes on content: Language: A couple minor swears. Sexual content: None Violence: None Ethnic diversity: Japanese LGBTQ+ content: None specified. Other: As mentioned, there is a friendly ghost that Hinata can't see but is friends with Kyuu-chan.
Another super cute volume. Kyuu-chan got new socks for Christmas, is helping Hinata-san as much as possible. They are right as well... you go into a cafe in japan in the middle of winter, fully intending to get a hot drink to warm you up and you always end up getting an iced drink instead. I love this cat and this series.
So, so cute. Another wonderful volume in the Wonder Cat series. Kyuu-Chan is just adorable, and I like how Hinata-San interacts/ takes care of his pet. It's sweet. Looking forward already to reading the next book!
