I am new to reading this genre and I did not read book 1 yet, but this was so much fun. This book was short and light, adventure forward, and showcases friendship, which is refreshing. Plus the story is about my favorite character type - the anti-hero. Artwork was beautiful too of course.

Story develops further with new characters entering and old characters developing further.
