She started writing her first novel, No One to Hold, because the characters were screaming at her to do so. The story started coming out in Arell’s dreams and attacking her in the shower, so she took to the computer to shut them up. But they kept talking.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Arell has what some may call a “checkered past.” Prior to discovering her passion for writing romance, she practiced law, was a wedding and event planner and even dabbled in marketing. She lives with a very supportive husband and two mischievous cats. When not in her writing cave, Arell can be found making dinner in the crock pot, working out with Shaun T or hitting the beach.

What an incredible collection and how lucky as a reader to have all these lovelies in one central place.
Hold On -
What a great start looking in to Cole's life and giving the reader such a perfect insight into his character and how and why he is the way he is. I devoured this in a quick sitting and definitely looking forward to the next book.
No One To Hold -
What a perfect start to these books bringing Cole, the crazy famous rockstar, and Rose the perfect opposite to his character. This book was full of great beginnings, lots of emotions and some incredible dynamics/twists that had my heart on a platter wondering how it was all going to turn out.
Hard to Hold -
This one picks up right where the last one left off and holy twisted characters. I don't want to give anything away on this but truly this read was gripping and left me with such anticipation as to what was coming next.

If you are looking for an awesome rock star romance, then this is the perfect boxset for you. You get to experience Cole Manchester and Rose Morgan’s journey to their HEA in one collection. It won’t be an easy journey thanks to the bumps along the way but you have that in any relationship. Ms. Rivers created wonderful characters and a wonderful world that will pull you in from page one and won’t let go until well after you are finished with the set. I highly recommend you get this. You won’t regret it.

Heartstrings can be pulled at any time and this was Gertie and Adam's time! For some reason I pictured Gertie as much older than late fifties! Maybe because of the nickname "Grandma" Gertie. Known for her amazing skills in the kitchen, I was happy life finally treated her right and she found love.
Long live the Gertie's of the world even when fictional characters!

No One to Hold is told entirely from the first person perspective of rock star Cole Manchester. As book one of a trilogy, it ends with a cliffhanger. The story takes place after Cole experiences a devastating loss, causing him to reevaluate his life. It follows him as he sets out on a journey to find love, starts a relationship with his publicist, and attracts the attention of a stalker. (4 Stars)
Hard to Hold is told from the first person perspective of publicist Rose Morgan, except for the last chapter. As book two of a trilogy, it picks up where the previous one ended, and ends with a cliffhanger. The story follows Rose in a PR nightmare as she scrambles to do damage control, and struggles to keep her job and her secret rock star boyfriend, while a dangerous stalker gets closer. (4.5 Stars)
To Have and to Hold is told in first person dual POV, except for one chapter. This is the final part of the trilogy and concludes Cole and Rose's story. It picks up six weeks after the previous book ended. Rose is confused about what landed her in her current situation. She pulls away, but Cole fights for their relationship. The stalker situation comes to a head, one and for all. (4 Stars)
Holding Out is a bonus novella about Grandma Gertie, one of the side characters from the trilogy. It's told in first person from Gertie's perspective as she goes on several dates and tries to choose between several suitors. (4 Stars)
I enjoyed Cole and Rose's story. Part one, No One to Hold, was sweet and smutty with a bit of mystery and suspense. I enjoyed part two, Hard to Hold, even more. The pacing was quicker and there was more tension, action, and suspense. Part three, To Have and to Hold, was a little slower, but still had steady pacing and a decent amount of action and suspense. I really liked the way the POVs changed from book to book, and although the novellas aren't necessary to the trilogy, they were a fun addition. Overall, the box set is an enjoyable read and a solid 4 stars.

This rock star box set for The Hold Series is a bundle of rock star goodness. This complete series will hold you captivated to the melody of their journey that ticks all the boxes even if rock star romances aren't your thing. As you hold tight to the rhythm of the words you will get passion, heat, angst, drama, loyalty and romance. Characters that will steal your heart and take you on a roller coaster of emotions. Overall this series is entertaining and gripping and will have you on the edge of your seat and hoping that true love holds on.

She bewitched him and he enchanted her
This was my very first read from this author, and it will definitely not be my last! This box set was made up of five separate books – Hold On, No One to Hold, Hard to Hold, To Have and to Hold, and Holding Out. They tell the story of rock star Cole Morgan, and his publicist Rose Morgan.
They got together one night when they were in college, but since then he’s had a slew of women he’s slept with, as the stereotypically footloose and fancy-free rock star sleeping his way around the country while he’s on and off tour. His good looks, charm, popularity, talent and fame are what most of the women he comes across find so alluring, so he’s never really alone.
Rose works for an awful woman in PR, and Cole is one of the clients she manages. Deep down however, she sometimes finds it hard seeing him with the myriad of women he’s been with, even though she’s responsible for hooking him arm with some arm candy along the way – all in the name of good PR, according to ‘Gruesome’, her boss. She’s harboured feelings for him for years, so when there’s an opportunity to have a second first-time with him, she jumps at the chance.
They’ve both endured great loss and sadness in their lives, and it seems to bond them closer. Around all of the dramas, they quickly develop true and deep feelings for each other, based on so much more than just a physical attraction. The friends and family they have around them (though not all of them) can see something growing between them before they can admit it to themselves or each other. But there are also other characters that want to do nothing but build a great divide between the two of them, which made for a suspenseful read in many places throughout their journey.
I was absolutely captivated by these stories, and I haven’t had books elicit so many emotions and reactions out of me in quite a while! I laughed, sighed, smirked, smiled, cried (bawled even), and I was frustrated, envious, angry, disappointed, worried, elated, jealous, relieved, and sad – especially to have these stories end! They made my world sing too! Now I can’t wait to read more – Wills’ and Emilie’s, and McKenna’s and Ozzy’s stories will be next on my to-be-read list! I give this boxed set a well-deserved five stars to be held on to!

This box set was EVERYTHING you could have imagined ! Instead of getting a little of each you get it all together and it will BLOW you away with the love, tragedy and hopefulness you will each book !! The words and story line of Cole the sexy Rocker and his PR agent Rose “Bloomer” Morgan kept getting better and better leaving you at the end of your seat and then the fun LOVING Grandma Gerti comes along !!
From the college days at NYU to the Family in New Jersey to the beach and mountains in California these two have a lot of miles and baggage to get though. Along with a whole group of friends rooting for them except for a Mom that thinks famous men with money will only leave you in the end. But when all is said and done a lost Mom will always be in your heart forever !!

Arell has written a love story with heat, drama, mystery and passion. You can't help but love the characters in the Hold Me box set.

Reviewing HOLDING OUT, the previously unpublished novella in this Box Set.
Grandma Gertie has been a fan fav throughout Cole and Rose's love story, so to see her get her own happily ever after is quite the delight. You really won't appreciate this novella much if you're not already familiar with all of the characters, so I highly recommend you read the entire series first.
A cutesy nod to dating in the golden years, HOLDING OUT by Arell Rivers takes Gertie Johnson on an adventure of men when she is suddenly in high demand on the singles scene. She delights in new adventures and old friendships as she sets out to live life to it's fullest.
I highly recommend this box set as a whole because Cole and Rose were EVERYTHING ... this new novella was a cute addition, but obviously not a full fledged story.

The Rockstar and his PR
This Boxset of the Hold series blew me away, just WOW. I can't say I was a lover of Cole Manchester the Manwhore and that it took the death of his mother before he saw Rose for who she really is. Looking at Cole Manchester the boyfriend now that is entirely different story. There are so many emotions and side characters that make this Hold series a phenomenal read, Grandma Gertie being one of them. I did not want this series to end and want more Cole and Rose. In this series you will find Love, Laughter, Tears, Angst, so many twists and turns that will make your head spin. You think you figured it all out then boom another blow that you didn't see coming. This Boxset is an absolute must read, Arell Rivers has outdone herself, Love, Love, Lovedit

This is an absolutely addictive collection of Rockstar romance at its most Irresistable,once you read the first book,you just have to keep going.
That is why having all these books together in one Boxset is Perfect !
You encounter ALL the highs, Lows, drama,emotions and sexy times as you take this journey with Cole and Rose following them chapter by chapter book to book going along with them and experiencing their epic love story.
There is something for everyone to enjoy and I really loved it.
This boxset is a must read for any Rockstar romance fans.

This box set is about the rock star Cole Manchester and his publicist Rose. This set had me from book one. I discovered Arell Rivers when I read the Hunte Family Series. This series is just as good, if not better than the other series. The story was very well written and I couldn't put it down. I found myself laughing and crying right along with the different scenes. This is a must have series and recommend it to everyone. In fact, as soon as I finished this box set, I moved on to Wills story. I received this book as a ARC in exchange for my honest review.

February 23, 2021what an incredible box set. This is the first time reading Arell Rivers and WOW is she amazing. The box set starts with the novella introducing Cole and let me tell you it gets better and better with every book up until the last one. Grandma Gertie is a trip as are all the "background" characters. At times I wanted to throat punch Melanie, Kimmie, and Gruesome. What a collection of books. A 5 star read by far.

This anthology tells the story of Cole, a rocker, and Rose, his PR agent, and how they met and the life they made with each other. The trials and tribulations that they endured had me wanting to weep, rip the antagonists’ hair out and guide the couple into what they should do.
These stories lead the reader on an emotional rollercoaster that makes you want to read the books again.

Amazing Read!!
This boxset is fantastic!! It takes you on a journey with Cole and Rose that shows you from the beginning throughout the story. It's amazing to have all of the books to read together. There is so much to these books. You have the amazing rockstar story from where Cole started plus there's romance, love, sexy times, ups and downs. There is so much to love about the books so you'll find something to love. I definitely recommend this boxset!!

I absolutely loved this box set for Cole Manchester rockstar romance! I have already read the books before but so cool to have it in a box set to go from one book to the next! Arell’s writing always pulls me in from the first page! Cole and Rose’s is so hot, with lots of passion, angst and twist and turns! Also loved Grandma Gertie’s short story at the end! It was so fun to read, she is the best! So much fun! Absolutely recommend!

Like Rose, I found myself falling for rocker, Cole pretty easily. This couple's story spans several books and is now conveniently bundled into a boxed set to make it easier to binge. I love it when an author gives me multiple books about a couple I adore. Cole and Rose's overall story has it all - sweetness, STEAM, suspense and all the yummy deliciousness of a rocker romance. I highly recommend this beautiful love story.

I love this group of characters. You just never know when your past comes back to haunt you; also stalkers are quite a detriment to your love life - but with enough perseverance you can make it work. This was quite a journey for Cole and Rose, and the people in their lives. Grandma Gertie sure added some comic relief.

I don't usually read books like this series but when I got sent this I thought yolo, well after reading the first book I couldn't stop and decided the binge read the whole lot, I was hooked left right and centre, I loved the love story between Cole and Rose, it even had a bit of mystery and action.
Absolutely enjoyed reading this Arell Rivers is a bloody amazing author and one of my favs

I really enjoyed getting to know these characters and following the Cole and Rose story from the beginning. A great rock star romance and glimce into the business side of that life. I had never read these books, making the box set even better! Oh, and Grandma Gertie! All the feels. I loved her novella and story. Definately grab this set and get to reading!

Love this series!!
This series is where I first fell in love with this author. And the best thing about a box-set? Having all the stories in one spot and a no wait for the next to be released or down loaded lol. I absolutely loved this entire series and am so glad I stumbled upon it and Arell Rivers!!
This series is where I first fell in love with this author. And the best thing about a box-set? Having all the stories in one spot and a no wait for the next to be released or down loaded lol. I absolutely loved this entire series and am so glad I stumbled upon it and Arell Rivers!!

This series was fantastic. I enjoyed every book. Cole and Rose's story just when you thought everything was going well something happens again to keep them apart. These books kept you on the edge of your seat. You never knew what to what to expect next.

I love a FULL Series to read if there's a link to the books. This didn't disappoint me. The main characters were well rounded and continued throughout each book. The drama and twist and turns that kept unfolding, made it hard to put down at times. The side characters were well written in my opinion and made me want to continue following their stories.

I devoured this set in 2 days. The emotions are strong and you will feel them. Makes you really rethink everything you see and think. This is a definite do not miss series. Steamy, Angst and Loving.

I loved the journey of friendship with all of the characters along the ride. Fun to simply sit back and enjoy the stories. They come alive from the first page until the last. Like to see more about each character along the way.

I loved Cole!!! More rockers than I can handle in this box set. Rose was awesome. Together they are bound to end up together but let us enjoy their ride. Oh, and Grandma Gertie! We finally know her story. She is still the best part of this whole series. Loved! Loved! Loved!

What an awesome collection and also one wild ride. You get to read from the beginning to the end in one collection. I loved Rose and Cole so much, I was sad when it came to an end but what a beautiful ending it was. Grandma Gertie needs her own book I don't care what anyone says.
