How to Read People Like a Book: Find Out What People Really Think, Even When They Lie. Anticipate Intentions and Defend Yourself Against Those Who Are Deceiving You Through Body Language
This manual provides a cutting-edge distillation of the techniques developed over the centuries by politicians, advertisers, criminals and other masters of their own universe . When applied, they can help you analyse anyone. This will allow you to connect with any personality type you want, forging friendships and social bonds that will last a lifetime! You will learn how ◆ Interpret the emotional states of the people around us. ◆ Express your feelings and ideas more effectively. ◆ Understanding the clues offered by choice of words. ◆ Avoid misunderstandings. ◆ Find out if a person is lying to you. ◆ Seduce a person (male and female body language in courtship have unique codes). ◆ Demonstrate greater assertiveness when interacting with others. ◆ Substantially improve interpersonal relationships ◆ Understand the subtle signals you are sending out and increase your emotional intelligence. As you have probably already experienced in life the risk of misinterpreting the body language of others, or of sending incorrect and incongruent messages, is very high and can cause a lot of misunderstanding. Unlike other books, this manual offers a practical and profound knowledge of non-verbal communication with a modern approach, free from the mania of wanting to ‘scam’ others and interpret everything simplistically. Hiring the best employee, choosing a business partner or simply choosing a partner for life will be far easier after reading this manual.
Overall good information and plenty that can be applied. A lot of it should be basic knowledge and probably is. Therefore it does come across as the “psychopaths handbook for social interaction and understanding”. Not a bad think but it would be a good book for that.
Reseña – How to Read People Like a Book by Christopher Kingler
Some of this is basic knowledge. And others seem to refer to a lot of other things there's some stuff that I would like to hear more on or how it's actually processed or thought about I don't like this as an audiobook I think that this is a book that you need to physically read and have a copy of but in general I feel like there was a lot left out and kind of just telling you you need to do more research.
I do liked it it asked you to just observe and watch over the last the next little bit cuz I think that watching people's intentions without trying to put knowledge on it so like in a grocery store or something like that like he was saying helps you read somebody better when you're close to them we put too much emphasization on reading people when we're close to them so starting off with somebody that's not close to us.
There is a great multitude of information you can absorb from reading this book. You are truly learning about people inside and out and how to deal with them.
This book covers an important topic, for anyone who has dealings with people, so most everyone. Important to be able to read body language and facial expressions.
I put this on as a random audiobook and uh this is terrible I doubt a majority of these claims are backed by any form of behavioral testing and it misses a lot of caveats
