My dad's four best friends are supposed to protect me.
I don't think they're supposed to share me.

When my safety is threatened, my dad's four best friends step up to keep me from getting hurt.

Alex is brilliant, but his incredible mind isn''t the only thing impressive about him.
Luke wants to hear me demand what I need and won't take no for an answer.
Trevor's controlling, unafraid of taking what he wants.
Mitchell is charming and wants me to submit.

I tell myself that I can look but not touch.

But I just can't help the way that they make me feel.
I crave their hands on me, not just the safety they promise.
I don't think that I can control myself when I'm around them.

There's just the little problem that they're supposed to save me, not claim me for their own.
Lucky for me, the four men don't seem to have a problem sharing.

This is a reverse harem romance with four men who will do anything (and I mean anything!) for their woman. It's free from cliffhangers, cheating, and has a guaranteed HEA.

Two and a half Stars

This is a trope filled book that include the following bodyguard(s)/older man-younger woman/daddy’s best friends/reverse harem. The storyline was a bit awkward for me to buy into because we have a young woman who feels unloved by her parents, but they enlist the help of the father’s four best friends to protect her from a general threat to the family. She tries to fight her attraction to the men, which didn’t make sense if she wanted a way to get her parents attention, a way to feel loved and to feel less lonely (especially since the guys were pursuing her). The male characters are not very well developed - why would they give up their careers for something like this? I just didn’t understand their motivation, beyond friendship and lust. There were a few laugh out loud moments, but the number of things that just didn’t add up for me outweighed the rest of the story. I definitely think the book needs some editing and revisions before I could consider giving more than two and a half stars.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Alex, Luke, Mitchell and Trevor are helping out a friend when a problem arises. It is decided that they are going to be her bodyguards. The attraction between her and each man is hard to deny. They all want her and that complicates things when their friend is her father. Their story contains steam, taboo circumstances with some drama and a unique love. It was a good story but not a favorite.

This Reverse Harem story is a well-written story with interesting characters. These four gentlemen are helping out a friend when a problem arises with his daughter. It is decided that they are going to be her bodyguards to help out. The attraction between her and each man is undeniably impossible. They all want her and this complicates things when their friend who is her father. Their story contains steam, some drama and an irresistible love. It was a good story.

I rate this book 3.5 stars.

I thought that Angie seemed a bit of a spoilt brat at the beginning of the book, but she seems to mature as the story moves on. She has a sizzling hot chemistry with Mitchell, Trevor, Alex and Luke. Add in a crazed stalker/killer and there is enough action and suspense to keep you entertained.

Four of her father's best friends are engaged in keeping his daughter protected. Alex, Trevor, Luke, and Mitchell are all older and sexy. Angie is a younger woman who's attracted to four of her father's best friends. This is a short story with steam, drama and quirky love harem romance. Will her parents, especially her dad, accept the combination of love for his daughter? Read and find out. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book did not hit the mark for me. The characters were not well developed and I didn’t sense any chemistry.

Angie’s fathers 4 best friends that she had never met give up their lives for an undetermined amount of time to act as bodyguards to a 23 year old girl. This includes basically being on lockdown at their house.

Cracking

I enjoyed this book, it was well written and I liked all of the characters. Romance and eroticism combined, a great read.

DNF. Nope. You've got to build the tension, the anticipation you don't go straight in. Not a fan of the writing style.
