Blue Blooded Brothers #5

Explosive introduction (for me) to this five-book series. The way the book began hooked me and made me want to know more. I liked the people mentioned and have a feeling reading previous books would flesh each of them out and give more backstory BUT even without the first four books I came away knowing that the men are a close-knit team and more like a family of brothers than just work partners. Many have found their partners and are settling down but there are a few still left that could find happily ever afters.

What I liked:
* Meeting the team and learning a bit about each of them.
* Knowing who the bad guy is and that he needs to be eradicataed
* Getting to know Liam and Selena – friends for decades, have chemistry, might finally find it is time to become a closer amorous couple.
* That the people were human and bled real blood
* That the bad guy(s) were easy to hate
* Having good prevail over evil

What I didn’t like:
* The people and events that were meant to be disliked.

The entire crew is at Micha's Warehouse. His mother has cooked and they are all relaxing until Logan's trial for a crime he commented eight years prior. The team has spent a long time searching for and finally arresting Logan. People are beginning to leave for home and Cal's phone vibrates with a message from Mandy, Cal's ex. He ignores it and it continues to call. The phone finally vibrates off the table and Liam looks to see the message. It reads BOOM and the warehouse explodes. The only one badly hurt was Cal. Logan had escaped. This again started the hunt for the killer. Will the team succeed this time or will there be traitors unknown to them?

What a high-impact read! This is the last book of the Blue Blooded Brothers series and though I'm only just catching up on it, I'm hooked. This story focuses on Liam and Selena as the brothers (brothers at heart, if not by blood) deal with the madman who has been tormenting them throughout the series, a mad crime kingpin of sorts who is one sadistic *******. You will be holding your breath during the showdowns, weeping happy tears as Liam and Selena finally survive everything they've been through to end up together, a bit worse for wear, but stronger as a couple. You will not be able to put this down. Amazing!

In this grand finale of the Blue Blooded Brothers series, Liam must finish what Wayde Logan started so many years ago. Logan has escaped from prison, and once again goes after the team. Liam feels he is the only one who can finish it, and he needs to do it without his team.
An excellent story comes to its conclusion, and the author goes out with a bang. While part of a series, this book is not a stand alone. The books really need to be read in order to get the full effect. If I could give it more than five stars, I would!

The team, are still after Wade Logan. In the meantime they finally took time to be together as the little family that they've become. The unthinkable happens and the story spirals into a very exciting fast action suspense tale with betrayal and of course, Love. This book grabs you from beginning to end‼ The characters are great. Though the book tells Selena and Liam's story❤it's plot is off the charts. As always, Sofia Aves delivers a well written page turner I could not put down‼

This book started off with a literal bang and never stopped. Sofia is fantastic and writing a book full of action and emotion. Liam is just the right amount of broken to pull at your heartstrings and root for him to get the girl.

This is the first book I read in this series and now I have to read the rest and see how all these couple handle the madman that’s plagued them for years and still get their HEA. So excited to read the rest!

I have been looking forward to this book since Politics and Paperwork, just waiting for the time Liam got his act together and acknowledged his love for Selena.
This book was the perfect ending for the team although it isn't without some heartbreak and chaos.
The book follows Liam as he works his way through his feelings for Selena and is long investigation into Logan, residing himself to tracking him down and removing him any way he can, legal or not. He took his sweet time and it almost costs him his family.
I loved the introduction of King, he brought some light hearted banter and fresh eyes to the team.

Love at Last

Sofia Aves’ fifth book in her ‘Blue Blooded Brothers’ series has started off with a blast! There’s plenty of adventure, suspense and romance to keep you enraptured from beginning to end. Liam and Selena, the main characters, have been best friends for years and are wary of getting any closer. They love each other but are afraid of rejection and messing up the good friendship that they have. After a disastrous event, there are a lot of changes for everyone but, is it change for the better or worse? You need to read this book to find out the answers. This storyline was so riveting that it was hard to put it down. Highly recommended and definitely a MUST read!

While celebrating the Logan case at Micah's place, Mandy calls Cal but he ignores her. Suddenly, an explosion occurs, causing the building to collapse and trapping some team members under the rubble. Cal is the only one severely injured and the group rushes to the hospital to keep vigil for him. Liam decides to hunt Logan down and leaves Selena with her law partner, Marcus, which doesn't end well. This final story is full of action, romance, and steam, ending in a HEA (finally!). Very highly recommended.

This book was the conclusion to the Blue Blooded Brothers series and it ended the series with a bang!
Liam certainly took his time acting on his feelings for Selena and it was a long-awaited moment that solidified an already strong bond.
If you've been following the series, you'll enjoy catching up with boys once again, while also getting to meet the new guy on the block.

Wow this book was all action. From the first page to the last i felt so glued to the book. Ever loose end was tied in the final book of the blue blooded brothers. This series is worth the read. I loved the ending. I cant wait for other books by Sofia Aves

So here is the finale of the series. We thought we were going to be able to celebrate our victory that Logan was in jail. Yeah well that blows up in our faces, like literally. Now Liam needs to choose on what he is going to do. We need to find out where Logan is and need to keep Selena safe. Now Liam has good instincts no doubt about that. But when he tells Selena to go to her friend Marcus for the time being, he does not feel right about that. Hmm. wonder why that is? I never liked him from the beginning. Liam recruits King to help him find Logan and finish this once and for all. Will he be able to protect his friends? At what cost though? When It comes to finding out who your true friends are, that is when everything is on the line! We see the other side of the coin for some people. Do we finally get a happy ending? Hells Yeah. What an amazing series to read. You will fall in love with all these characters and enjoy the thrill of their stories.

Our final leg of the Blue Blooded Brothers series. We finally get the see the mysterious Liam. The fearless leader of the task force. He is closest with Cal, but we see glimpses of him here and there in all the stories. Finally we see him and his love. The one he hasn't let himself have, but is saving himself for her and makes it his lifes mission to protect her. We also FINALLY get a resolution to the Logan issue, so happy for that!

Grand finale!

Wow! What a way to finish the series! Kudos Ms. Aves for a brilliant finale. The unexpected twists and turns certainly made for suspenseful reading and the intrigue keeps you glued to the story until you're done! The ups and downs of Liam's and Serena's relationship are relatable. Definitely a "one-click".

The conclusion

It’s their last chance to catch Logan. And Liam is determined it will get done. But his plan will either leave him in prison or a wooden box. But this time he’s getting it done, one way or another. He’s finally claimed Selena, and he won’t let her get hurt again. But Logan has his own plans and people inside Liam’s ring of trust.

This explosive story will keep you on the edge of your seat! When Logan is captured, everyone thought they were home free until a phone call changed it all. Logan has escaped and in doing so placed the team at risk. Logan feels that he is the only one that can bring him in and this time he will be doing it without the team’s help. This is a befitting culmination to an excellent series.
