Reading has always been one of my favorite hobbies, even as a little girl. When I was a toddler, my parents would read stories to me over and over. I would hear them so often that I had the books memorized and could recite the story word by word.

My favorite genres are fantasy, paranormal, and contemporary romance. So of course that's what I'm inclined to write.

I have a husband, two young daughters, and a mini Australian Shepherd. I've lived in Tennessee the majority of my life and love the state.

I'm extremely addicted to caffeine and enjoy drinking coffee and lattes.

WOW! Awesome ending for this series! I loved the characters and they all had to be strong Alpha types to pull it all off. They all had a hard road to go to get to where they needed to be. The obstacles, hardships and betrayals kept the story rolling and I couldn’t put it down. I loved each book that I have read by this author and will continue to enjoy them as she writes them. I can’t wait to see what comes next from her brilliant mind!

Emma along with Aidan and the other marked girls and their mates take on the final challenges. We learn the complete curse and what it will take to achieve peace for both sides. Story is steady paced and there is a lot of action in this one. Explosive finale!

Overall series review.

It didn't make it in my top favorites list but I really enjoyed the series. All three books were pretty easy to read and it didn't take me long to finish the series. I liked the second and third books more then I did the first just because at one point it was like she did a complete 360 in my opinion that gave me whip lash. The main flaw that I had for this series is the character's relationships with each other, Like I get the whole mate thing and I liked it but I would have liked to see some more build between everyone else with the two main character's and at times I felt like most of the character building was happening behind the scenes. So the character building was off for me.
The world build was good and the story telling of it was really good also, it wasn't complicated to the point that it made it hard to follow along while also keeping you on your toes with the plot twists and turns. Overall I enjoyed the series though and I am super glad that I read it.
There is language in all three books but not to the point that I would hold it against it. I am not a fan of language but that's just me, I rate it at a six on the ten scale so language is used often but not so much that it takes from the dialogue completely.
The romance is heavy especially in the last two books.
The thing that I liked most was that this book centers around kick-butt females or should I say Shero's ( lol I loved that. ) But it didn't take away from the leading men either. ( So big thumbs up )

If you got time and want a good Wolfy romance read I'd recommend The Marked Wolf series.

Whoo, I didn’t think I would get this close to finishing the book again either. But I did. Somehow.

Anyway…I have mixed feelings with this book. One issue I didn’t like was how Emma had so much magical powers at the end of the book, like she could use telekinesis and controlled water, but we never get to see her use magic in the other books of the trilogy. I am adding on another star because seeing her magical powers and how she got them was interesting.

I also liked the added history and lore to the story explaining most of the plot, with witches and curses being placed as to why Emma is fit to lead from a prophecy. So basically, in this book, Emma finds the sixth girl in the prophecy and they all have to defeat an alpha. They then take over as alphas and lead a new peaceful generation.

The first book was promising and very entertaining, the second still managed to hook me although it was slow, but the third…just was very slow and unbalanced. Not the epic finale I was looking for.

Jen’s later books definitely get better, as they are more fleshed out, have stronger characters, and the plots/conflicts have some more thought to them. While not her best series to me, it was still a good read. I just enjoyed her later books better.

Wow! What an ending! This gives us everything we could have wished for. Emma continues to lead and ends up rocking some serious power.

I loved the twisty twists! There are some phenomenal surprises that will give you some ah ha moments as everything comes together. Each of the chosen have very unique personalities and issues and that sweetens this plot and conflict within the circle. These wolves and witches know how to protect but their banter is just an awesome part as well. If you want a bunch of different personalities trying to save the day that choose to follow the destiny prepared for them, this is it!

Friendship, love,  snarky attitudes, hilarious banter, protective alpha males and kickass females await you! One-click this must read series and enjoy this epic adventure!

Emma, Aiden, and the rest of the chosen and their mates and with this one they find out so much. The have trader in their mist, there is another girl to find ,a war is coming, and they have to figure out how to release their magic. With all of them together will they be able to work together and figure it all out? Will the Hallowed Guild win it all before they can? Absolutely fantastic read. This finale book pulled me in and kept me glued to my kindle. This read is full of everything, emotions, action, heartache, love, loss, and epic battle that will have you not wanting to miss a single moment. I so can't wait to see what this author comes up next.

Just wow

This has been a great series. The end story was powerful, moving, a little steamy and a lot of action. The characters are truly characters, funny, mouthy and sometimes a little sad.

This book was a great way to end the trilogy. All the carictors work so well together the relationship where on point! Emma definitely grew a lot and I think she blossomed into a great leader. Ofcourse she didn't do it all by herself she had the girls and her mate! This book had plenty of everything!

‘Broken Curse’ is the final book in Jen L. Grey’s “Marked Wolf” series.

Betrayal, lies, secrets and a curse... these are what Emma has had to deal with. She’s travelled all over with her friends to find the marked girls. Now with the chosen girls together they need to unlock the next step to fulfil the prophecy and end the hatred between the Wolves and Witches. But there is still pieces missing and the girls with their mates need to work together and quickly as the Alphas are getting ready to wage War.

I just want to say writing this review is very hard and difficult as one slip up and I could give away major details and ruin the shock and surprise you are in for. But I’ll do my best to make sure I don’t whilst also letting you know how much I ENJOYED this book.

Wow, wow, OH WOW!!! What an ending... What a journey this series has been. I’m actually a little sad that it has come to an end. It feels just like yesterday that I first read ‘Moon Kissed’ and got introduced to Emma and Aidan and now it’s all over. Emma and Aidan’s story has been one heck of an epic tale. A modern/supernatural day Romeo and Juliet. They have gone through the ringer and have come out the other end stronger together.

Firstly I just want to mention how fantastic each and every character that had been introduced. Though Emma and Aidan are the main characters, the secondary characters all deserve recognition and praise. Beth the constant big mouth with no filter (love you girl), Amethyst and Cora you sweet loveable witches with big hearts, Sam you big goof, Finn may be a little rough edged but he still did what’s right, the Marked Girls you are all different, unique and wonderful additions to the group as well as your mates.

Since the moment that Emma was told what her “birthmark” meant shes been against the clock trying to stay alive, one event after the next she has not been able to stop or catch a break. Finding the four marked girls should have been the time for her to catch a breather but unfortunately that’s not in the cards. Now her group of friends/family of 12 need to put the differences aside and work as a pack. But what a dynamic team they make.

Once again Ms Grey shocks us all with her twists, turns and surprises that are revealed at just the right moment to get the best reaction. New and old faces make appearances that will also have you stunned.

The only and final thing that I can say is go and read this book or series if you haven’t started it. You will definitely not be disappointed. It’s a great action packed, fast paced, spell bounding journey you do not want to miss out on.

Emma's and the other marked girls' journey come to a close in the final book of the Marked Wolf series, Broken Curse. The girls have been through a lot to get to each other and learn their destiny, fight wolves, and convincing witches every step of the way. It has been a dangerous and harrowing journey but it was all worth it for a HEA.

The things that the group (the marked ones, friends, and fated mates) went through have bonded them all together in such a tight way, they may have had their problems but they managed to overcome them by talking things out and with the help of Emma who is a natural leader. Emma manages to become the leader of this group with her big open heart, calm soul, and patience. Emma is an old soul who manages to have wisdom at such a young age and can connect to people. From the beginning of this series to the end Emma has done nothing but grown and with Aiden as a caring mate by her side they handle every situation with wisdom, heart, and care. One of my favorite things about this book was the banter between everyone, it was great and cause a few laughs, I loved how close they all have gotten and the bond that they share.

There are so many things I want to say, that I want to talk about, but I don't know how without giving away some key detail. Broken Curse was filled with surprises, just when one would hit and another would pop-up, one more shocking than the next. The surprises fit well with the story, the plot was exciting, and the story kept me on my toes. While one thing I was hoping happened in this book did, the rest was quite the surprise. How everything came together and how the story concluded was really interesting, the story held my interest and I finished the book in one sitting.

Broken Curse was a great conclusion to the Marked Wolf series, with Emma having her happy ending and everything is wrapped up very neatly. Now that Emma's story is over I am looking forward to the next heroine Jen comes up with next.

Evil always tries but never WINS.

If you enjoy a good series of intrigue adventure be action and never ending suspense within a paranormal storyline then this series is definitely one you should read
Ms Grey has created a superb adventure of fated mates who should never be, witches fighting alongside wolves plus an ongoing answer to many of the questions that were previously left unanswered throughout the paranormal genre.
Why are wolves and witches so against one another read this tale and find at least one answer to all the myths.
Emma and Aidan have had to battle every step of the way to achieve a balance between the two, but not without loss and heartache.
They found each other but have had to battle a curse determined to destroy those who believe as they do or who found mates who were not if their own kind, amazing how well this author has brought this adventure full circle, to end up facing the very people who caused the rift and fears from day one.
Follow the team as they end up back at Emma's and Aidan's home town to deal with magic and bias that was directed totally at destroying them, ok only to realise that equality towards each other always helps keep the balance and as long as they all work for the greater good for both the packs and the covens the myths can be laid to rest.
Hatred had caused the rift to begin with so watching family bonds and love keep everyone together shows how much can be achieved if both teams are prepared to work together.
Stop in and read this series you are going to be dumbfounded with how far and how deeply the bias has evolved, so will this stay strong and show the packs and covens how to stay true to themselves and each other, your going to have to read the series to see just how much power and faith has been put into the shoulders of a select few and see how to they deal with keeping the peace.

In this third and final book of the paranormal fated mate romance series, Emma and Aidan must fight a war by undoing century-old teachings dating back to the original Alpha and original Witch. With the help of their newfound friends, they must undo the antiquated chauvinistic views within the packs that women can’t be leaders and must hold subservient roles and that witches are abominations of nature and should be killed. On the flip side of the coin, the witches embrace women's power, allowing their covens to be led by high priestesses and fully support a new world order where peace would reign between the two races.

The alternating POV is less jumpy if still without any distinguishing characteristic in Grey’s voice to differentiate the two; however, the improved flow at least provides better insight into what’s going on in the moment. Grey’s voice and vibe remain in the YA camp, touching on subjects that would most likely appeal to teens and young adult readers, such as duplicity, betrayal, forgiveness, and reluctant acceptance.

Grey sets a fast, action-packed, and adrenaline-pumping pace to wrap up this storyline. It’s easy to lose track of what is going on and which characters are in which battle because the pacing moves so quickly that it’s nearly impossible to connect with what is going on. Everything is rushed to the end.

For a plotline that held so much potential, Grey didn’t do it justice by not giving readers a chance to get to know the characters with her monotone script instead of giving each of them their unique voice to bring them to life. The lack of emotions and rushed pace make it practically impossible to attempt a connection to the story. This is another 2-star read.

Booktitle: Broken Curse (The Marked Wolf #3)
Author: Jen L Grey
Publicist: Grey Valor Publishing, LLC
Kindle Edition Pages: 254 pages
Rating: 5 Stars; explicit ending!
Title: Refers to the “curse” of the marked ones. The pack is trying to break this curse to make sure the witch covens and wolf packs can live in peace.

Broken Curse is the final book in The Marked Wolf series.
Emma and the marked girls are all ready to break this curse. They get together to perform the ritual, and Emma meets up with Endora, the original Witch. Endora tells her that the marked girls are not together yet. They are missing 1 final piece of the puzzle; 1 more chosen hybrid. When they find her they can finally break this “curse”, as other packs call it, and live in peace. Ofcourse this last quest is the hardest, and the pack gets to deal with several struggles on their way to the final battle.

This was an exciting and fun read again. The story continues where the previous book left off. I truly like how both sequels (Chosen Wolf and Broken Curse) reference to an earlier part in the story, summarize it, but don’t overdo it. It is not annoying as a reader, even if you’ve just continued reading after the last book, like I did. This writing style makes it possible to leave some time in between reading the series. Broken Curse is a little predictable, but just like the first two books, it also has some nice plot-twists in the story, and a lovely epilogue.

I’ve really grown fond to the pack members and I’m quite sad the trilogy has come to an end. Each of them have their own part to play, and I liked some more than others. The Female Power is STRONG! I believe this trilogy will stay with me for a while.

WARNING!! This is book 3 in the Marked Wolf series, you will need to read books 1 and 2 in order to understand this one.
Emma, Aiden, and the rest of there team have scoured the US and have finally found the missing Marked girls. With the Hallowed Guild closing in on them, Emma and the other girls must learn to work together to control their powers. But what if all is not as it seems? What if the original witches cryptic message put the girls in more danger?
Wow, wow, wow. Where do I even begin? This book was fantastic. The growth in the bond between the girls was amazing, as well as the growth of their (once narrow minded)mates. There were so many twists and turns in the story and it was amazing to read. I couldn’t put this book down!!
Overall this was an amazing end to the series and I look forward to reading Jen’s next book!!
I received this as a free ARC copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the last book in this series, and I can’t wait to see what happens. Do they break the curse? What about the secret society hunting them? I can’t wait for it to reveal all.

Emma is our lead character, the one who started it all. Her mate Aiden and a few witches and wolf shifters are working to know more about this prophecy and what happens next.

This book gets kinda spooky and encrypted as she searches for answers. They find the solutions and then have to take drastic measures. But even at that, they end up in a fight. It is hard to tell in this book who is on their side and who isn’t. So a super twisted event for the characters; I thought I hated to show the true colors eventually. This book gets even more convoluted, including dark magic, before it finally has a happy ending.

This story blew me away. I have read a lot of paranormal romance, and this was amazing. I love how the story linked the wolf shifter and the witches together. I love how the book had a different personality or history for each of the girls. I loved that the mates were supportive and protective but ultimately understood the greater purpose. I really love the action and adventure in this book. I also loved watching our heroine come into her own confidence as well as the others with her.

I really enjoyed this series and I looked forward to listening to each installment. The narrator, Felicity Munroe does a wonderful job portraying all of the characters and using a variety of tones and inflections. I could feel the grief, excitement, and anxiety, etc. come through the narrators voice. The journey that Aidan and Emma have gone through with the marked girls has finally come to a conclusion and trust me, the third installment doesn’t disappoint. The twists were great!
I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys paranormal romance with a bit of steam and a happily ever after ending.

I enjoyed the book , however i found myself sort of page roaming a bit towards the middle to the end of the book , with trying to have SO many main characters and feeling like everyone is being added so quickly it just started to feel kind of jumbled. And the main fight at the end just sort of felt kinda anticlimactic to me in how the main villian just sort of falls so easily in a way. Overall it was an enjoyable series , not super filled with spice but i definitely enjoyed the spicy scenes when they came, i also loved the premise of the books and seeing the the guys put aside their original prejudice and learn to love from their mates and giving us all the "touch her and die vibes" .

Witches and Wolves Rock!

The conclusion to this amazing series comes to an end! and what an end! Driving across the map, rallying up the mix wolf/witches hybrids and trying to save the world from a pending doom prophecy was easy peasy! jk!!! it wasn’t but it was sure alot of fun! The drama and light humor from our lovely Beth ( that girl has no filter) was fun! Then add some a*hole Alphas in the mix! Leave it to Emma to put everyone in their place 😈 Loved it! With the help of her besties and swoony boyfriend everything is possible!

This was a spectacular end to a great series. After book two I wasn't sure where the author was going to take us because it felt like she already rounded up most things and only had to write an ending battle and that be it. Jen L. Grey did an amazing job in coming up with a whole new storyline for this book, woven into the already amazing story we had for the first two books. I've been hooked to this series, absolutely loved it. It was such an easy and fast read and exactly what I wanted now.

Amazing Series!!!

I love Aiden and Emma's story. Amazing from start to finish, all within 2 days. As they rush to find the fifth girl, they realize she is the sister of Prescott, and the daughter of the Alpha. As they fight the first fight shortly after, they find a few unlikely allies. As they all converge for the final battle, are they able to do what needs to be done? Are they able to save Emma's parents?

This is a must read series. Loved every bit of it.

The ending of the series is here and it was completely amazing. Jen L Grey every single book you write sucks me in from page one and I don’t put it down till the end.

Emma had traveled all over and gathered all the girls she needs to help unlock the prophecy. But it’s never that easy right!? So much happens but I won’t post spoilers! Such an amazing ending to another amazing series.

Wow has this been a wild ride. Not gonna lie, the Happily Ever After ending was pretty predictable. But as a whole this book fits the set perfectly and puts a nice neat bow on the whole set. Emma hit the ground running and when so much had to happen for her that she's now a different person. All of them are really. I enjoyed this trilogy and can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Once again, Jen took me to another place. I fell in love with these characters!! The twists, the turns, the scares! My heart could barely handle some of them. I am so happy with how this all ended, however one death wasn't a great one... necessary, but still sad. 11/10!
