Oh! Margot,Margot how I love this sexy smart woman!!! When lexxi first introduced her in the Alex drake series I had to know more!!! If I could be any character from lexxi's books it would be this chic,I fucking love her! She's a mover and shaker with ten gallon balls! Her words not mine. You have to respect a bad ass with no fucks given kind of woman,but even this beautiful temptress has meant her match and his name is Coop Byrne and what a fucking hunk!!! His easy manner and quick wit along with a killer smile are very appealing and with a body made for sin he's a total package and more then enough of a man to keep our girl Margot satisfied. Once again lexxi James has written not only a very entertaining read with hot sex scenes ( some of the hottest she's done so far) but a storyline with a bit of intrigue as well. If you haven't read her books your missing out on a fabulous writer who does contemporary romance that has a little something for everyone and her one liners and humor are sprinkled all though her books. Lexxi James is always on my must reads list! Until next time Luv's💋💖

He is use to being under the radar but he wants 2 things more than his privacy, Long Multinational & Margot the mysterious woman. How can he have both? He can't if he takes the company he could lose the woman so what will Coop do?
My favorite lines in this book which Lexxi James can deliver like no other sexy one liner's "The confusion on Jean and Evie's faces is a clear indication they think I'm being swayed by my vajayjay." Ruthless Wars by Lexxi James is about love and business. Everett Long is a Texas Tycoon who owns Long Multinational, he has two daughters Margot and Jaclyn, and a son Wyatt. Jaclyn is currently the COO of Long Multinational, while Margot gives her two cents on million-dollar deals and acquisitions. Ruthless Wars is the second book in the Ruthless Billionaires Club series and features Margot Long and Liam Cooper Byrne (Coop). Margot is the acting CEO of her dad's company, Everett Long Multinational and is smart and a man-eater. When she gets ensnared in Coop's sights, there is an instant attraction but what happens when you shouldn't mix business with pleasure?
Coop is a lawyer and wants Everett Long Multinational and Margot and he is willing to go the lengths to ensure they both get what they want. Will Margot let him?
I don't really remember the first book in this series which is a shame because there is a little overlap of information but I enjoyed this. Coop was sexy but he could have had a more alpha edge to him. Margot was strong but she did annoy me at points with her over-the-top personality. This was a medium burn with a HEA. Honestly, I neither loved this or hated it.
Coop is a lawyer and wants Everett Long Multinational and Margot and he is willing to go the lengths to ensure they both get what they want. Will Margot let him?

OMG I love Margot so much. I was so excited for this book. I knew when I first met her, that her story would be amazing and so so so much fun to read.. She's such a bad*** and I love it. I knew from the first meeting that the guy for her would have to be so good it would knock Margot flat on her butt lol and Coop Byrne was just the right man for the job. Their "meet cute" is one of my favorite opening scenes that I have read in a long time. It was everything I dreamed it would be for Margot lol.. I mean I wish I had even slim percentage of her confidence. Coop is a stellar character, he's the total package for sure. I loved them together. I could read pages and pages of just dialogue and would have been a happy camper hahaha. But luckily Lexxi gave so much more. I loved this story. I know its going to be an excellent re-read. But then Lexxi is good for that ;).

Lexxi James always manages to surprise me. Her stories are well written, her leads are strong, smart, sophisticated and mysterious. Thats where I find myself each time I lose myself in her books. I know going in she is going to have me thinking out loud and it's addictive. This kind of reading is one that is a guaranteed winner. It's not enough to write a story, I like to think, agonise and ponder while I read. She makes me a better reader and also makes me appreciate what is written.
Only a handful of authors can full-fill all of the above and do it effortlessly. I read a lot of books, I love the thrill of opening that first chapter and seeing what's in store and meeting my new friends (the characters) some you want to smack and yell at, some you just wish they'd go away. But when an author can give you leads and secondary characters that you want to know more about, you know you've just hit the jackpot. And that is what she's done here.
Margot is our lead, sassy, intelligent, sexy, strong and not afraid to go all in. She speaks her mind and there's nothing I don't like about her. She's a lead that you can look up to. Liam 'Coop', her other half and our male lead equals her flawlessly. You don't have to dumb down characters or a story to make it better. And Lexxi has never ever done that. I doubt she'd know how.
The chemistry as always is explicitly hot and when these two get together expect the heat. Coop is right up there in book boyfriend categories. His mouth alone will push him up the list. Again I'm thankful for that first book I read of hers and it's been a joy watching her emerge and deliver another outstanding addictive read.
And I nearly forgot, Paco? I love him!!

I loved Jaclyn from Ruthless games, but I love Margot more!
She’s something else! Smart, ruthless scheming, but fiercelly protective, loving and carring. And a little wicked!
And I must say that Coop is her perfect match! Who other than him can keep her attention for much that few hours?

It took a few Chapters for me to get into this one but once I did I really enjoyed it.
I felt there were a couple lose ends that weren't cleaned up as the book ended but otherwise it was an enjoyable read with just the right amount of heat when you needed it!

The attraction and chemistry between Margot and Coop ignites with such intoxicating intensity, exploding with passion and instant affection drawing our characters together and uniting them together beautifully. They are complex, genuine with traits and qualities that balance and blend with amazing depth. It has enough spice to add an kick to the mix. I love reading from the author, so amazing and wonderful . I received an ARC for my honest review

This book is just WOW. Everything that comes from Lexxi is always interesting, original and sexy. She always brings out the best character and stories. Every time she announces new book, you know it's going to be amazing. I was reading this book very slowly because I didn't want it to end.
And Margot is everything I knew she will be and more. Smart, sophisticated, beautiful lady, who will do anything for her family. I loved her since we met her in Ruthless Games.

Margot and Coop met by chance and didn't know who the other one was. So it was a big surprise when they met in boardroom of Long company. Their chemistry is sizzling, they bring out the best from each other, compliment each other. They were meant to be.
So "Love is love, business is business" is a principle they both adhere to.
The best thing about Lexxi's books is how all her characters/stories correlate.

I HATE books with sexually aggressive heroines. It makes the hero seem like a pushover. I want the man to pursue and the woman give him a fight of his life. Where's the challenge in the relationship/romance otherwise?

Margot and Coop were just hot hot hot! They were sexy even when they tried not to be.
Margot and Coop meet up several times for one night stand situations, or so they think. But then Margot had a big business meeting with her company on the line, and who shows up but Coop. And he is texting her during the negotiations. What's he trying to do?
Their chemistry is of the charts and their dynamic is just so attractive. Coop is a larrakin, smouldering hot and cheeky as. Where as Margot is a lot more reserved but loosening up.
The tension is palpable in this book. Full on hives inducing really, but their attraction certainly overshadows most of the drama. Their intimacy shines through, and like I said before, sexy without even trying.
This is one book I found impossible to put down from beginning to end. So well written but then Lexy writes amazing stories that drag you in till the last page. Absolutely amazing!

Coop came across as a playboy but when it came to business, he was ruthless with a smile and in the bedroom. Margot was the same way. She came across as a jet setter and care free woman. She believed a relationship would change the way she liked to live, carefree. Once they realized they were the same, competitive, each where determined to out do the other in the boardroom and in the bedroom.
This story was fun to read.

This is sooooo good! After binging the first book, I was so excited to start the next one. Jaclyn may have been the tough, ball buster in the corporate game, but Margot is the mastermind for business. She runs into Coop, a hotshot lawyer, multiple times. Even though there encounters were push and pull, the chemistry between them was scorching hot!! Such an amazing series!!

This is my favorite Lexxi James book yet! I had the hardest time putting it down because I kept wanting to know what would happen next. The whole book kept me wondering how everything would tie together and when all the secrets would be revealed. I loved that Coop and Margot both were strong willed and determined and had a great push and pull in their relationship and the chemistry that was there from the moment they met while ordering coffee.

Intriguing book. Loved the kick-ass Margot, but it took me a while to get a read on her. Loved the double dare/dating innuendoes, "Thunder", the sexting during the board meeting and the overall great job that Coop did showing what he wanted with Margot. I was turning the page as fast as I could to figure out what would happen next. Thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I will admit I was lost on the business takeover speak. That stuff went over my head. But other than that (me feeling dumb) it's a great story. I can't wait for others.
Coop is HAWT! Like Hot Hawt. I loved how into Margot he was. He let it be known. No games'ish.
Margot is FIRE. I love how she didn't just bow to a handsome man. She held her own.

This was my first read from the Ruthless Billionaire's Club series I thought it was a very interesting and intriguing story. I liked the premised of the story to keep me interested and definitely liked the characters especially Margot as she was smart and strong character. I will definitely read the the other two books in the series. An Enjoyable read.

Oh, my favorite person from the first book has met her match! Margot and Coop had such chemistry that even misunderstandings and outright lies or espionage couldn’t keep them apart. Well, not for long. They had to navigate a minefield full of questions about who or what to trust, who or what has a grudge, and the eventual outing of their secrets. And for Margot, the one big thing that wasn’t even a lie, but that seemed like one at the time. Luckily, it all worked out in a fabulous manner, so now I wait for the next book because I need to know what comes next.

I thought the first in this series was great, but I think I actually like this one more! I read this in one go, did not want to put it down.
I loved the chemistry between Margot and Coop. Coop is trying to take over a business that was ready to loose a few smaller business to get a seat on the board. He is all business till he sees and meets Margot Long. Margot is a sly behind the scenes that can be underhanded to get what she wants. She is acting CEO for her family’s business and get some money but she didn’t think someone would buy it. It’s a nervous thing but somehow she just wants a drink and a man. She meets Coop in the bar and a glorious one night stand ends up being the man who is sitting across from her in the board room working on the points about the deal. They have a wonderful connection but they can’t share their secrets. They both have things that can’t come out quite yet. As they get closer things are getting messy and they have to look at their relationship and see if they can separate business and pleasure. Will their secrets come out before they are told out loud before in person. Love this story of Coop and Margot.
