** SAVE 40% WHEN PURCHASING THIS BOX SET ** BOOKS 1-4 IN THE USA TODAY BESTSELLING NOAH WOLF SERIES Books After witnessing the murder-suicide of his parents as a child, Noah suffers from a form of PTSD that has left him without emotion, without a conscience and without the ability to function as a normal human being. With the help of childhood friends, he learns to watch others around him and mimic their behaviors, in order to conceal the fact that his mind operates more like a computer that he has spent years programming. That program is what allows Noah to pass himself off as normal, by establishing parameters of right and wrong that are completely inviolable to him. As a young adult, Noah finds structure in the U.S. Army, and becomes an excellent and exemplary soldier, but when his self-imposed programming is put to the test by the murderous acts of the superior officer, Noah finds himself quickly made expendable, charged with crimes he did not commit and facing the possibility of execution. Without any reasonable hope for a reprieve, Noah's logic-based mind accepts his fate. Sometimes, though, things are not all as they seem to be, and Noah is offered one chance to save himself. It was his disability, his lack of emotion, that made him the soldier he had become. Now, an ultrasecret organization known as E & E wants Noah's talents, offering him a chance to survive… As the most deadly assassin the world has ever known.

David Archer was born and raised in Bakersfield, California. He is a fiction author and novelist, writing in the mysteries and thrillers genre. His approach to writing is to hit deep, keep you entertained, and leave you wanting MORE with every turn of the page. He writes mysteries, thrillers, and suspense novels, all of which are primed to get your heart pumping.
I could have done with at least a hundred less eating references and the transparency of so many mini story lines coming from other authors works was a bit insulating. Not considering the sniper tactic at the parking garage served no other purpose than to show a complete lack of creative story weaving by the author. Still, I managed to read all four volumes and was sorrowful for the loss of Moose, who was the only truly believable character in the series.
I started reading and thought, this is going to be different. It didn't take long to find out that I was wrong. Of course there has to be a woman in the group and of course she and the main character just have to hook up early in the narrative. I stopped reading then. Why couldn't this story be different? I know the author has to try to appeal to many different people but really?
I love thrillers, as well as trying out new authors. This was my first time reading Mr. Archer's work, but I can guarantee that it certainly won't be the last. I was impressed with the terrific characters, unique storylines, humor, action, suspense, and the intriguing twists and turns throughout each story. This series is different from any other that I have read before, especially Noah Wolf's character traits, and I am definitely looking forward to reading the rest of the stories. I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.
Terrible. Poor writing. Spoon feeding the entire story. Boreal character or story development. The only character I really cared about was the attorney and she never showed up again. The second book I thought the author was doing a decent job of laying out the premises from the first book in a semi good way for a sequel and then does a “cutback” and repeats the whole dang thing. I read a little more just to make sure it wasn’t going to get any better. It didn’t. I quit. What a waste of time.
Training was too obvious that this is not possible you can't keep a secret base that everyone in town knows that there is one character spoke too much in on subjects that were secret and large set of the song made it completely unbelievable
There is a little repetition to plot.some of the gadgets ate cool especially the drone. While Wolfe isn't supposed to have emotions he gives a pretty good imitation. Good beach reads to just pass the time.
The basic story line is good yet the writing is predictable and a bit boring. Seems like a lot of mealtime dialogue and phone conversations that always ends with the "the line went dead". It was okay for the first book but this sequence seemed to last through all 4 books in the series. I was hoping that there would be reference to the lawyer in book 1 reappear but that never seemed to happen and that story line just "went dead".
If you have time to burn and don't mind wandering around a plot then go for it.
At least there aren't a lot of typos, but the grammar could use a polish. First I absolutely hate that the action culmination is in front of the action that leads the reader to it (I skimmed a lot of talky talky, since we already knew what was about to happen) The plots are flimsy and the action is not really believable. I had a hard time suspending belief trying to tell myself "it's just entertainment". Book 2 was so bad I did not read it all. I do not recommend these books.
It kind of looks like we have a set of "James Bond License to Kill Agent" type of novels here. They mostly kept my interest to find out what was going to happen next. Yet they were also repetitive and not quite cunning enough. Upon setting the plot of each mission little care seemed to be taken for occurrences that one would expect when dealing with diabolical master criminals or terrorists. Thus the storylines were less than believable, and so, less fun to read or imagine.
Since reading the first book in the Noah Wolf series, I decided to continue with the boxed set. I like the characters and the team setting that takes place throughout. In the most recent book (#4), the team needed to become more flexible and make changes on the go. The details throughout the book allow your imagination to run wild. Although some parts of the story seem far fetched, it's a relaxing read where imagination can be in the forefront.
This series was one of the most exciting, action-packed adventure thrillers I've ever read. Loved every character (well, the good guys) and all the intrigue involved. Really looking forward to reading more stories about Noah Wolf and his friends. David Archer certainly knows how to tell a good story that holds your interest and makes you want to keep on reading and reading........
I have enjoyed the Noah Wolf series, his presence and command are very good, but did not see justification for killing off Moose, he was a very good character, as for Sarah, she is far too clingy. I will continue to read the Noah Wolf books as long as you continue to write them
I am retired and wanted to spend my time reading. I saw this advertised on my kindle. It looked interesting so I thought why not? I knew I loved the story after the first three pages. I look forward to reading many more from this author and the other books within this series . Honestly I could not put the book down!
This was an absolute pleasure read these 4 books to start on this series. Where it started and ended was excellent. The whole plot of E&E was set up perfectly. It was sad to see Mooselose his life but that was to keep Neil alive his little brother. Can't say enough about the quality of the stories and the flow of every book. 10 stars 🌟plus. Thanks, Carl Clause
I got to page 130 and I just couldn't take it anymore. I've been trying to get into this book longer than it takes me to read a few really good books at times. I don't know what it is because I really want to like it. I know it must pick up and go somewhere eventually but I just can't do it... 😞
Pretty straight-forward concept with just enough mystery and intrigue to hold your interest. I noticed how much is written about what this team eats! They rarely missed a meal and each one was described in some detail. Good character development but some loose ends and inconsistencies along the way - not enough to matter, though.
Intelligent yet very different personalities form competent assassin team
All 4 books promise an excellent series. Characters personalities are described in enough detail that the reader can understand how they can form a tight and competent team. Yet each team member have very different skills, ideals, motivation and opinions.
These are the first books I have read from this author. Each one was so exciting to read. You follow Team Camelot on save the world missions filled with genius thinking, action packed, and even a bit of romance. Each character is so unique and the stories so well written, that I just KNOW you will not be able to put them down!
I unfortunately bought the 1st 4 books based on reviews, and am sorry I did. Much too juvenile for me to enjoy. Really feel like they were written for teens. The character development is shallow, the prose is not realistic. I’m going to remove them from my library so that I don’t get bored and try reading them again. Couldn’t even make it through the 1st book.
So very much enjoyed the action here. It was a great blend of exciting and emotional that allowed the reader to really love the characters and what became of them. There are also enough twists and turns that you don’t figure EVERYTHING out in the first couple of chapters. Definitely a must read!
Then these short stories are for you . I really enjoyed this series of stories from characters to situations and foreign travels with attention to detail and analysis of thoughts , such a great escape and yet believable circumstances to enchant the reader in an unique manner.😊
Really enjoyed the first 4 books and will probably get the next series. Well written with exciting happenings and storylines. Some things you can foresee and others keep you scratching your head. The kid needs to grow up. Don't change Noah. He is great as he is, sometimes I wish we could turn off our feelings. I enjoy the Dragon Lady and would like to have her get more involved with the happenings of the team.
A very good read. Lots of action, suspense, and surprises. I enjoyed all 4 books. I wish everyone who likes James Bond type movies to pick up and read this series.
I liked this set very much. The main characters were mostly loners who ended up becoming family, accomplishing amazing things together. Funny and sad, scary at times and always enjoyable. Great series.
Far fetched but still an enjoyable book page scanning making it more so. Less emphasis on Noah!s condition was an interesting move but then made the story a little hum drum
This is some of the best reading I have had in a long time….so interesting and leaves you wondering what is next…love this kind of thrillerthat keeps you wondering what will happen next…. It’s a fun and great read…I highly recommend these books.
The wasn't Much This is the 1st time I didn't like about the book How great mysteries of this type is a little long at times but it's needed To understand the missions because they are so secretive and then important to our countries
Different but interesting basis for the series. I enjoyed the seemingly simple plans set up for each mission. I look forward to how Archer is going to add enough change to keep readers interested.
I liked the plot of this book. The twists and turns kept me reading just to see what was coming next. I recommend this book to people who like to read a good suspense story.
Fast paced funny but sad too. It's hard to imagine having no feelings, not sad, not happy no love no anger, yet its so very interesting to read about such a person. He's neither good or bad and is used as a tool for safety of all.
