The characters cross over into other series. The Set Dilemma is a sexy historical romance standalone. Hidden Witness is a second chance mafia romance series sure to keep you hooked. The deeply captivating Billionaire's Stripper Virgin romance is a tantalizing must read.
Posey Parks will always give an unexpected Plot-twist in all of her books.
She's from Detroit, Michigan living in Atlanta, Georgia. Traveling is her other passion. She has visited London and Paris and would love to some day travel to Italy.
When not taking care of her family she is reading or writing "HOT & STEAMY" romance stories. A happily ever after (HEA) is always important to her. She needs it as much as her readers do. Sometimes she can leave a cliff hanger, but she always gives an HEA at the end of either a stand alone or series!
I was so excited for this book, but it ended up a DNF.
I get this is highschool, but the whole virgin h and manwhore H is old!
He “loved” her but spent his time screwing girl after girl? I mean, they actually get together after she watches him fuck another girl! Hell, she literally kisses him while he’s having sex with the other girl. Literally walks up to them after she finds them, makes him say her name and kisses him. I repeat, while he’s inside the other girl. WTF
Ryah and Rocco are the heirs to their respective mafia families. They’ve known each other their whole lives. Rocco has always looked out for Ryah even if he was mean to her when they were younger. Eventually he decides he’s not going to hide his feelings for her anymore and then we’re off to the races.
While I enjoyed all the characters and the storyline, I just wished they were a little older. I initially thought we would spend the beginning of the book in their teens and then move on to their 20s and see how they were doing but nope we stay in their teens. Like I said it was entertaining watching them navigate high school while being mafia heirs, but it’s quite uncomfortable reading about children and their sexual escapades, so I tended to just skim right on over those. Both the H and h have grown up in the mafia and they have been trained and are not to be messed with. I found that pretty entertaining.
Overall, I liked the book and will be checking out the next one
I cannot decide how I feel about this story. The story was about Rocco and Ryah; however, I could not figure out why the author devoted so much time at the end of this book explaining Melanie and Luciano's relationship. Since book one ends on a cliffhanger, the chapters explaining their relationship interrupted the flow of what was happening with the main characters. A brief introduction at the beginning of book would have been more beneficial in understanding what was to follow. I am not a fan of teenage romances, and this one left me with a bit of angst. It was an okay read.
I really enjoyed this book, but the heroine was stupidly stubborn. Half the stuff she did, made no sense, and I can't stand her character because of it. However she's only 17, so I chalked it up to her being immature. I also feel like if the writing was better, I would've been able to enjoy this book so much more.
This book was so wonderful wrong and I will not be reading any more of this series!!!!! They are teenagers kids and they are doing all of that with their parents around just no
I just couldn't didn't like the writing style and the characters were to much for me (and that is saying something) Also semi enemies or friends to lovers and no build up..But turn of was the writing style. It felt all over the place.
Not so sure if I stealth his description. I'm not a big fan of teenage \kid romance books. They're very rarely believable. What kept my attention in this book was the action. I also think the hero's disrespect for his girlfriend's father was unbelievable as well.
I got about 30% in and couldn’t push through anymore. I rarely DNF books but between the grammatical errors, the age of H and h, and just the general speed of the story, I couldn’t do it anymore.
I like the general idea of it. Who wouldn’t? Mafia prince and mafia princess who have kind of a push and pull hit end up together? Sounds great! Sprinkle in a little spice and a little blood and I’m sold! But the execution isn’t quite there for me.
I may be picky on grammar. So just for example, it was “in tack” instead of “intact” or open quotation marks around actions, sometimes I couldn’t be clear on who was speaking during dialogue and would have to reread a few times. Things like that.
I also don’t prefer reading about high schoolers or under 18 in a spicy book personally.

This was a no for me. And it isn’t even that the writer has teens doing so extreme adult stuff, I get the why. They aren’t regular teens. It the terrible inconsistency that really bothers me. There are times when you can’t tell who’s talking. The writer completely switched locations in like the middle of a paragraph. Character’s feelings about something literally switched from one page to the next. And if they are gonna “running the city,” why all the fighting? I mean maybe the writer wraps it up on the why of their behavior but I was to annoyed to get to the end to find out.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was entertaining and packed with action, romance, and sexy hot sizzling passion right off the bat. From the beginning of this story, you recognize Rocco’s game when it comes to his princess (Ryah). He is ensuring that Ryah will become his future queen and a force to be reckoned with when he steps into his role as Don of the Andrisani Family. Like chess, the King is the most valuable, …. But the Queen is the most powerful piece on the board. She can move forward, backwards, vertical, horizontal, or diagonal by a single jump or slide up and down the board by several spaces bumping off the opposing chest piece and protecting the King. But, unlike chess, Rocco is ensuring if something happens to him the game won’t be over. His Queen will be able to reign over his kingdom with a strong-arm as needed (Check-Mate). And as always Ms. Parks stories are pure, enjoyable, escapism from today’s real world’s current events for me. The book ends with a dramatic cliffhanger. The author does give us a sneak peek into the next book in this series: “Heartless Mafia Prince 2” tentatively scheduled for July 27st. This excerpt I felt acted as an appetizer, enticing the reader to continue with the main course. Can’t wait to continue the next chapter in Rocco’s and Ryah’s story in the next installment of Ms. Posey’s “Heartless Mafia Bosses” series.
WOW this is a delightful story! One that you will definitely enjoy. There is so much excitement with these awesome characters, they have such great chemistry. It's full of excitement and very passionate which will have you on the edge of your seat with their drama element, There's suspense that will fuel your romance. Plus all of the characters are so captivating and the family is so amazing and their relationship is magnificent. The storyline is great with it's mafia vibe and when you add in their family drama, along with their emotions their love and the intriguing twists they go through you have a tale that's a awesome read that's truly delightful." Plus the gang characters are amazing with some violence that just worked so well together that I couldn't help but enjoyed their story I enjoyed the time spent on building Rocco and Ryah's relationship because it's great. WOW even with the cliffhanger it's still a awesome mafia romance which l greatly enjoyed and I'm excited about the continuing the story.
This book was very good until it became too repetitive and eventually it wasn’t. The initial storyline had me hooked and I really liked the headstrong personalities of each of the families. It all went wrong and became a head scratcher when both the mafia prince and princess started doing basic grown people activities that just built overtime, but it was normalised earlier on.
It was nice to experience the different povs but what wasn’t so pleasant was basically rereading everything, but just from their perspective. It would’ve made more sense to just continue the story but from their pov.
Overall the book was all fun and games until every single chapter consisted of Rocco and Ryah going at it and us knowing about it. After a while it was basically a book of s*x. Which prolonged the whole thing because this book DID NOT need to be continued, therefore, this is where I will be stopping.
I started reading the newsletter chapters but when you decided to publish a book I stopped reading to build up the anticipation, you did not disappoint. Rocco and Ryah are a great couple, however Ryah does annoy me sometimes when she does not believe in Rocco’s love. I know this is a product of her childhood with her parents.
It was great learning about Luciana and Melanie but will have to admit I was lost a little bit because it was so late on the book and all I wanted to know was if they were going to find Ryah after she ran off. It would have been better towards the beginning, please don’t be offended, not trying to tell you how to write just thought it was a weird place to add their story.
From the very first chapter I was hooked on this new couple and I was thinking what kind of relationship they had from my other great mafia families. I was jumping for joy when it was said they are cousins. I can't wait to see how part to is going to go because I'm ready to fight for my couples. This was a great love story to a start of another pair of mafia family that if I was apart of I would be kicking butt and taking names. I give this book more then five stars because it's worth 10. It had everything in it, love, drama, comedy, and crying. Don't skip out on it because I will be counting down the days until 2 comes out.
Rocco and Ryah have a love for each other from childhood but don't admit to it until in their teens. As love is often disguised as hate, that is how these two have started out. Young love takes over and Rocco is tested by even his friends for the affection and love of Ryah. Will these two survive this all consuming love they have for each other or will they crash and burn when friends and foes alike begin destroying the mafia prince Rocco and the mafia princess Ryah.
What a powerful pair! Sometimes it's hard to believe these two are still teens, wise beyond their years in this mafia world created by Posey Parks. Brilliant!
I could not continue to read this story. I am a fan of Posey Parks work but this one I am not a fan. First of all, the main characters are entirely too young. It would have been okay if it started out with a short chapter of them growing up together and made the rest of the book with them as full-blown adults at least 21 to 25 years of age. But, the continuance of them in school and all that goes with it, I was just not comfortable with it so I lost interest. I am not sure if I will purchase the second part of this story or not.
Ryah and Rocco! The mafia princess and prince story was greatly detailed from the day they met as little kids to teenaged lovers. I also liked reading about Ryah's parents relationship. How they met, fell in love, made the choices they did, etc. Exciting story. Love Ms. Parks attention to detail in her books. Editing was a little sloppy though. I admit to feeling uncomfortable reading about such explicit sex between teenagers. I agree with Luciano.
Ms. Parks once again delivers a suspenseful book that will definitely make you turn the pages quickly. This story takes its time in developing all the characters - Rocco & Ryah who are teenagers committed to the mafia life and each other. Next you have Luciano’s triangle with his arranged wife Rosetta and his side piece Melanie who has his heart. All of this is mixed with an unknown enemy who is out there stealing their goods and in the end, can be the demise of Conti & Andrisani families ruling Philadelphia. It’s definitely a cliffhanger.
This was a beautiful young love story between royal mafia families lol.I love their chemistry together, it was off the charts. I love how they had each other's back even when they weren't a couple, that's mafia family for you. Racco didn't play when it came to Ryah and vice versa. Even though it was messed up with Luciano and Melanie, I loved their story and chemistry as well. Can't wait to see what's going on next for everyone, I hope Ercole didn't have anything to do with it.
Each of the love stories in this first book are sweet, enduring and fun to read. Rocco and Ryah are young lovers, royalty of the mafia world learning to navigate their new romantic relationship while continuing their partnership in their families life of crime. It's a tug of war of emotions but eventually they become closer to only be thrown into a mafia war. I'm rooting for these two lovers to grow together like Ryah's loving parents. This is a good mafia romance and I'm looking forward to completing the series!!
Rocco and Ryah are explosive together,I can’t wait to see what comes next for the 2 young mafia prince and princess. Their enemies don’t know the hell that’s coming for them .I loved the little back story of how to between Luciano and Melanie . Know I know why Ryah has such a temper she gets from both parents .I can not wait until the next book comes out ! Please do yourself a favor and check this all all of posey book out you will not be sorry I promise you that.
Rush and Rocco were children of Mafia Kingpins, except Ryah was the daughter of Luciano’s Gumar! He never loved Rosetta, his arranged wife and it was evident throughout their arranged marriage. Now someone was trying to take over both families-the Contis and Luciano’s family…but who? Would Rocco and Ryah survive the plane crash in the ocean? Can’t wait to read Part 2‼️🦋
Boy, am I glad i don’t have to wait for book 2 ! 😉 Rocco and Ryah are not your typical teenagers even though they have certain teen’s traits such as sexual, impulsivity’s and at time selfishness… but so much more and Rocco is pretty mature for his age. These two never had a dull moment and I love Luciano and Melanie and the way that man love his daughter… WOW!! Rocco’s parents are awesome as well. Captivating, enthralling… and more!! Ps. I love Luciano & Melanie POV’s it’s make you see them in a different light. 👏
3.5 Stars The book is very good and, but I have to agree with some of the comments that the H/h should have been older, and when it came to the heavy sex scene's, I too, skipped through those parts. I do recommend reading this book, but note that the majority of the book takes place in a high school type of environment.
Rocco and Ryah have set ablaze within this book! Their underworld and everything it entails. This book is definitely a page turner and cannot wait until book 2 comes out. I can't wait to read about the history each family how they became who they are. Amazing job Posey Parks!!!
I was not disappointed. I knew Rocco and Ryah were going to set it off. These two mean business. Trained at young ages to handle business. They are young but they are not kids. I can't wait for book 2!
Rocco and Ryah are so good together! The passion with a side of crazy is the perfect storyline. I can't wait to see how they get themselves out of this mess and how they will deal with it. Anxiously awaiting book 2...
I love Ryah and Rocco. They known each other all of their lives. They both are part of a mafia family. They are so mature for their ages. That ending. I hope everyone is going to be alright. Very good book.
