Four brothers from the wrong side of the tracks meet the women who tame them. Get the complete reader favorite series in one volume.
Book 1: Drive Me Wild Luke Riggs has returned to Westlake, and so has his former flame, Emily. When the bad boy and the good girl are reunited, things are about to get dirty.
Book 2: Take Me Down Jace Riggs has just been released from prison on the condition that he get counseling. Too bad Tara, his buttoned-up counselor, is so sexy, because she's also off-limits.
Book 3: Work Me Up Ex-baseball player Ryan Riggs needs a nanny for his seven-year-old son. When the woman he's hired shows up on his doorstep, he recognizes her. They had a one-night stand years ago, and things are about to reignite.
Book 4: Make Me Beg Bad boy Dex Riggs has never followed a rule in his life. When Lauren Parker decides she wants a baby, she makes a deal with Dex: he gets her, she gets pregnant, and they part ways. That's the rule. And it's about to be broken.
Don’t get me wrong, this was an entertaining series, but I think listening to this series in a bundle did it a service. I felt like 1/5+ of the plot in books 2-4 were plot summaries of the previous books, which to me was unnecessary.
Rating the books, separately… sure they were good, but I felt the plots/tropes are “standard” and the endings were far too abrupt for my liking… even with the epilogues. And of course the obvious and un-dynamic epilogues or even conclusions…
These books were good, but nothing I’d go out of my way to recommend… unless the person needing a recommendation was looking for good natured bad boy falls for good girl trope with not much emotional investment needed to get through.
I really enjoyed all four Riggs Brothers books in this boxset. It is a great listen especially if you like bad boys! Joe Arden, Erin Mallon, Jason Clarke, and Savannah Peachwood are the narrators included in this audio. All four narrators are one clicks for me and always do a fabulous job bringing characters to life. Joe and Jason were spot on as portraying the alpha male Riggs brothers that you can't help but fall in love with. Erin and Savannah convey the Riggs Brother's ladies perfectly keeping me super intrigued in all four books! You will love this box set!
Totally enjoyable series. Well written stories, with real issues, good plots and adorable characters. Furthermore the issues are written light enough to not run the story to the ground. Oh thank you Julie Kriss! The first story got me right from the start and got me totally invested in the brothers and their love interests. That did get me through all four books with no regrets, well done Julie Kriss! You just wrote yourself into my list of authors to watch out for. 20 hours and 2 minutes of listen, my only complaint is about story 3. And it is a first one. Was it totally necessary to make girlfriend of book 3 sound so focused on her boyfriends good looks? This makes me realize though that Julie Kriss is a genius. The other three books are perfect, all the feelings in a fun, loving and steamy package. Already looking forward to listen to them again. Erin Mallon is the perfect narrator every time. Her absence might also be the reason for book 3 sounding less feeling, fun and lovely. Erin Mallon makes all the difference, and does narrate book 1, 2 and 4. Joe Arden is no slouch either, and makes a lovely duo with Erin Mallon. Hm? Savannah Peachwood and Jason Clarke might never have stood a chance narrating book 3. Not even their own fault. Erin Mallon and Joe Arden are a gigantic dream duo. Subconsciously making me sulk over and judge story 3 too harshly, only with their absence? I recommend you find out. These books will be on rerun in my library.
Book 1: Luke & Emily: Daughter of the local police and one of the towns bad boys, reignite their high school flame. Sexy and Fun.. great story.
Book 2: Jace and Tara: the psychologist and the quiet bad boy brother. I want what I can't have... a relationship. Dr & former patient. Can't resist each other.
Book 3: Ryan and Kate: professional baseballer and the nanny, who turned out was a fling 5 yrs prior. Full of temptation and con artist exes, to secret relationship to hea.
Book 4: Dexter and Lauren: Ex Cop with a bucket of issues falls in love with Girl, who he was her first kiss. Infertility and finding love after a whole world of struggles.
All in all, I loved listening to these books. Their personalities came out in each book and really went into each individual life. Loved how they linked with each other and found true love within their partners. Great reads!
I listened to these books on audio and the narrators were excellent! This set tells the individual stories of 4 brothers who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. The books reveal the trauma of their childhood and early adult life, how their lives intersected, the turbulence that comes from their experience growing up, how it impacted them as they became adults and how big life changes can make a difference. These books hold heartache, angst, plenty of action and of course, romance.
My goodness, my kindle is melting! Someone get me a Riggs brother. Really loved this series of Brothers that had a hard start but turned it around while finding love. I felt all the angst, anxiety, worry, excitement, freaking love with all these characters. Drama kept me engaged and the pages turning. Really enjoyed this whole cast of characters. I will be checking out more Julie Kriss books ASAP!
I listened to this box set while working, which made my work days quite enjoyable. The storyline is interesting, but not so complex that I couldn't follow along while simultaneously working on various other complex tasks. I also appreciated that it didn't make me cry at work, though there were some giggles coming from my desk while I was alone. lol
I love series where the characters are siblings and they find their HEA. Each of these Riggs brothers are total bad asses but they each find the perfect girl for them. The girls don't care that they come from the wrong side of the tracks because they see the good in these guys. Truly loved this series!!!
This is a first time read from this author for me and I’m so glad I clicked on this box set!!! Absolutely outstanding series. Amazing characters, smooth flowing and well done storylines, completely NSFW scenes and HEAs that are swoon worthy. I loved each story and am a bit sad to say goodbye to this group of characters. LOVED it!!!!
This was an entertaining series from beginning to end. The guy/girl character match ups were spot on. Jace was rather funny compared to the others and Dex was really portrayed and the evil lazy brother in the 1st 3 books. Once details about his life were revealed he was a pretty good guy. The narrators did excellent jobs bringing everyone to life.
The only thing that you get to read in this ebook, is the special epilogue. That's it! 10 pages! Nothing else. Deleting download and then re-downloading, does nothing.
This was pretty good four story’s about four brothers that had a tough start but learned the meaning of family and love in the end. I completely enjoy listening to it and the narrators were really good as well.
Loved the series!!! Absolutely fantastic!! Characters were well described in each book! Many late nights to finish reading! Definitely going to check out more from Julie Kriss!!
Bravo! I loved this book. The writing style is wonderful, the story flows throughout the book, no dull spots. I’ll definitely be looking for more of this writer’s books!
Bad boys turned good for the sake of one girl. It’s amazing how one persons perspective can change when they meet the one. This series may have been short but it was amazing. The way a whole town changed because of one person is just great.
Amazon seriously you need more than a five star rating for this box set all these stories were amazing I absolutely loved each and everyone of them I am so happy I found this authors books I can’t wait to read more books of hers
Looooooooved loooooved looooved these books I didn't stop until I read all 4 back to back. I loved how the story line went with each brother back to back
I listened to this series on audiobook and it was Amazing. Each story was heartwarming, endearing, emotional and oh so good. I enjoyed every single moment of this series.
Bad boys who are more than they appear. Likes me characters, good amount of steam but not excessive. Enough tie in between books, but each one distinctly it’s own story. Julie Kriss seems to be a solid choice for an author.
Books reviewed separately and as they are quite long I will not bring them over to here. Make Me Beg, book four, was a recommended read and as it was in a box set in KU, I thought okay, I’ll give it a go and read them all. I cannot put my finger on why I didn’t love these books but I didn’t hate them either. I think I just felt sorry for these brothers. They are tarred with their father’s bad reputation, somewhat justifiably earned by a couple of them but they really weren’t terribly bad men. They seemed to have gotten a raw deal all around. There was just too much ambiguity for my enjoyment though. Questions not answered for that story, so you have to read the next book to find out things, which are then still not answered.
