One hard billionaire. One college grad turned nanny. And a massive mansion that's way too small for their growing attraction.

Mason Blastoviak. This self-made billionaire doesn't bang the Help. He doesn't get involved. And he never, ever falls in love.

Cami O'Neal. This recent teaching grad doesn't do strangers. She doesn't neglect her charge. And she never, ever throws herself at billionaires, especially her hard-bodied, hard-as-nails, and very hard-to-figure-out billionaire boss – the guy whose kid sister is under her care.

It all sounds good in theory. But what happens when these two decidedly different personalities are living under the same roof? Looking out for the same precocious kid? Crossing paths and clashing in the closets? And just what if all those sparks aren't caused by loathing, but something a lot more dangerous?

Could it be a forever-and-ever kind of love?

**Bang is a fun, full-length billionaire romantic comedy with a guaranteed happily-ever-after!**

Blast Brothers, a contemporary romance series, follows three billionaire brothers and the women who claim their hearts. Each book can be read as a standalone.

Bang – Mason

DNF. I’m not sure how this book got some many stars. It’s slow and boring. I’m 19 chps in, stopped reading 3 times, and nothing exciting has happened. About the most excitement was from the kids across the river playing a trick on their Nanny. The chemistry that is supposed to be going on with these two, is flat and just isn’t working for me. Honestly, I just don’t like the dialogue between the two. It’s not written well and it creates no chemistry. It’s awkward and cringy.

The girl sounds immature and stupid. I cringe every time she has a conversation with Mason. She always starts a conversation asking nosy personal or invasive questions. Then, she acts like she deserves the right to these answers and becomes stubborn, until she pisses him off or he becomes rude and leave. She’s always judging Mason, thinking the worst of him. I finally dropped the book after Cami asked Mason if Willow would get in trouble because Willow had mention Cami being her birthday gift. (This is one of the many stupid question she keeps nagging Mason about. Whether Mason hired her because of Willow’s request or because he wanted to. Really, wtf cares! You accepted the job already. If you’re just looking for attn, try wearing skimpy clothes.) She’s basically accusing Mason of potentially being mean to 8 yr old Willow, because of her nosy ass. And I quote, “”Well, yeah," I stammered, "because I'd rather have you glaring at me than at her."” It’s like, really??!! This guy moves mountains for his little sister, why would he bother glaring at her cause you’re so damn nosy?? I think it’s suppose to lead to some kind of build up between the two, but it’s falling flat. That right there is just being offensive and stupid.

2.5 Stars rounded to 3

I didn’t enjoy this as much as “Bang” but it had something to keep me reading to the end.
The overall romance was interesting and the nanny dynamic wasn’t bad. It was lacking a little in the build up I thought and a deeper connection to Willow would have been nice. She seemed to use the L-word awful quick!

The dialogue was my main problem. It was exhausting back and forth, questions followed by questions followed by snark. I understand the two MCs weren’t supposed to like each other but it wasn’t a natural conversation.

If I was say Cami and I needed salt at dinner it might go a little like this

“Can you pass me the salt?”
“I dunno can I?”
“I think you can”
“I know I can”
“ Then why don’t you?”
“What don’t I what?”
“Pass the salt”
“Sure I can, after you say please”
“Fine, I think I’ll get my own salt”
“I think you should”
“I think your a a-hole”
“Good cos I’m trying to push you away”
“Good because I don’t want you anyway”
“Good”
“Good”

Exhausting ... but if you want a standalone read with a HEA you could do a lot worse!

When it comes to this author it really is a hit or miss situation. For some reason I just find it hard to like her characters. Mason is another one of those examples. I get that he is and has been in charge of raising the family for a long time. However, his behavior towards Cami and other nannies seemed a bit extreme at times. The good news is that by the end he and Cami did get a happy ending.

I liked Bang, but not quite as much as The first of the series. Cami is a likable and engaging character. Mason is pretty much a jerk up one side and down another. Willow is adorable and enjoyed all her scenes. Mason improved as he opened up thru the book. Starks books are always easy to follow and funny. She pumps in the witty back and forth. Her bad guys are bumbling fools and you love to see them spectacularly fall. Another fun read.

I find Sabrina Stark’s books really easy to read. The plot of this one is quite simple and it trips along nicely. It has a good strong opening, starting in the middle of the story before going back to the beginning. I’ve seen this in Sabrina Stark books before, and I find it a good way to get into it.
I really liked Cami’s character. She was very brave and stood up for herself in a way I found quite refreshing, and she never hesitated to call Mason out when he was behaving in an overbearing manner.

I liked Mason more as the story went on and we got to see more of his back story. I found him a bit frustrating at times but mostly he was a good hero and I thought he was very sweet towards the end.

They had a lot of chemistry and I liked watching their relationship develop. There wasn’t a lot of heat in this story and the sex scenes were quite vague and brief, but they were well done and quite hot for what they were. There were a couple of things I didn’t like about their relationship - I didn’t like Mason’s tendency to to get his own way, as I found that incredibly overbearing and off-putting for a hero to do.

I also thought that the employer/employee situation wasn’t addressed as fully or as well as I would have done - it wasn’t really discussed, but when it did come up, I thought it was glossed over or treated as a trivial issue when really the power dynamic within it had the potential to be quite damaging.

The other issues I had were more minor - I find Sabrina Stark’s tendency to finish chapters with ominous, foreshadowing statements a bit repetitive as it was pretty much every chapter that ended with lines like, “As I would soon find out” or “later that week, I realised just how wrong I was.” One or two was okay, but it was a bit much.

The ending was also a bit long and protracted. We got the big make up scene but then a few more chapters of filler before a chapter that felt more like an epilogue. Also the story had a lot of time skips where events were quickly summarised, it might have been nice to see some of these things in detail instead of being told a list of all the ways that Mason and Cami spend time together.

Finally, I’m not sure that the storyline involving really added anything to the story. It was dramatic at that one point, but it mostly just felt out of place in the rest of the story.

I would recommend it if you want a fairly quick nanny/single dad (technically!) romance with some funny bits, a bit of angst and some suspense.

Wonderful Story & Narration🎧 A Heartfelt Delight!

Bang: A Billionaire Loathing-to-Love Romance
Blast Brothers, Book 2
By: Sabrina Stark
Narrated by: Stephanie Rose, Connor Brown

Sabrina Stark continues to wow me with another awesome novel in her “Blast Brothers” series. I loved the first book, “Boom” Arden and Brody’s story, each book in the series is a standalone and features a different Blastoviak brother but I highly recommend starting with the first one, not only is it a blast of a RomCom but you learn some of the brothers back story and history from the featured brothers point of view. Not necessary more like good to know info. This book is Mason and Cami O’Neal’s story, both make appearances in the first book, Cami is Arden’s friend and Mason is the oldest of the Blastoviaks, the most serious, grumpiest and the one who got the business started. The parents left the three brothers and a baby sister to fend for themselves, Mason was a young adult of age to become their guardians and he basically kept the family together, fed, clothed and made sure they went to school. Mason was first introduced to Cami after an incident with his younger sister Willow who took a liking to Cami. So Mason in need of a new nanny wanted to hire Cami and he gave her an offer she could not refuse not that he would let her. I loved how Cami stood up to Mason, his broody behavior did not get to her and she did not tolerate his bad behavior. She was great with Willow and most of all Willow adored her. The arrangement was working out great except for the chemistry between Mason and Cami it was starting to get explosive and it could no longer be denied, so they gave in just for one night. A determined Cami made sure to stick to that one night, Mason did as well though both wanted otherwise. The chemistry and the tension could be cut with a knife, Mason manages to get himself in deeper every time he opens his mouth. His scorned past has left him thinking he does not know how to love but Cami sees otherwise, if only he could see what she does. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is wonderfully plotted with the perfect balance of drama, some angst, humor, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. Sabrina Stark thank you for another awesome story, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧And for the fabulous narration, Connor Brown and Stephanie Rose are talented narrators and voice artists. They continue to do an amazing job portraying these characters. They have a complete understanding of the characters persona and perform each role with perfection, sounding believable and just as I picture them to sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture all the characters emotions and project them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Delish 5 Star Read

Why the 5 stars? For me, a 5 star book is an immediate re-read, followed by several re-reads ... and this ticked that box.

But it's more than that. This book features Ms. Stark's unique writing style, one of a kind characters, and a storyline that pulls you in, keeps you guessing, and has you glued to your eReader

This book is a standalone, but second in a series. If you read Blast, you'll be super happy to find favorite characters (Brody and Arden) from that book featured in Bang ... but if you haven't read Bang, put it on your TBR shelf immediately!

Cami and Mason are in a slow burn for frenemies who are both of the same mind when it comes to making sure that Mason's young sister Willow is safe, well cared for, and happy. Mason tries to hid his growing affection for Cami, which results in mixed signals, lots of double speak, and sigh-worthy, e-reader on fire scenes. She's Arden's best friend, a bit on the quirky side, but someone that Willow absolutely adores. ... as does Mason ... most days ... if he's honest with himself. Mason is the cool-cat older brother who's above it all ... until he falls for The Help ... right after insulting her and turning her off

This book has arts and crafts, an active pantry, a car-jacking, hitchhiking, dual POV, and an ending that will have you reading well past your bedtime and immediately starting the re-read! This book is absolutely delish!

I received an ARC. This is my honest review.

Bang: A Billionaire Loathing-to-Love Romance
Blast Brothers, Book 2
By: Sabrina Stark
Narrated by: Stephanie Rose, Connor Brown

I love a good romcom, and Sabrina Stark brings on the laughs with her Blast Brother series. This is the second book of the series, and though interconnected can be listened to as a standalone. We have Cami and Mason. Mason is the broody brother, is always no nonsense and in charge. The never smiling man is in need of a nanny for Willow, his little sister, and Cami is the current pick. From the beginning, these two are sparring. Funny yet tension filled banter flies from them both, and they never seem to agree on anything. But could there be more to their arguing? Stark has a refreshing enemies to lovers story. Mason is quite the character. He carries a lot on his shoulders and is hard to get to know. Cami is pretty much the opposite. She says what she means, and always has the best intentions when it comes to Willow. They are quite the couple. It's fun to see the others and visits with Arden and Brody from the first book make the story's continuity flow.

Stephanie Rose and Connor Brown provide a wonderful performance. These two story tellers work well together and their styles compliment each other. I enjoyed their comedy and their narrative. It's great entertainment.

Cami is sweet and seems to have a youthful innocence to her. I love the way she doesn’t cuss and makes up her own words for those curse words! When she does this, I can just picture Mason’s (her employer/boss) face when she is talking/yelling at him.

Mason likes to appear that he is a jerk (which, don’t get me wrong, he is 99% of the time!). However he appears to everyone else, he does have a good heart and cares very deeply about his family and his little sister who he is guardian of. There isn’t anything he wouldn’t do for her.

Mason hires Cami to be Willow’s nanny for a year. There is definitely some kind of chemistry between the two although they both deny it. But once they connect, Mason is done for. He wasn’t looking for a one-night stand and this is what Cami thought it would be – she even left his room before he woke up the next morning.

Mason doesn’t want to admit that he has fallen for Cami and Cami doesn’t want to admit out loud to anyone that she has fallen for him as well. It takes a few friends to help them communicate to find their way to each other.

Great story and I will definitely read more by this author.

What happens when two opposites live together to take care of one eight-year-old girl? Will sparks fly or will curse words or maybe both?

This book was about Cami O’Neal and Mason Blastoviak. They could not be any more different. She is a recent college grad just looking for work and Mason is a famous billionaire. However, they both care about Willow, Mason’s little sister, and the girl who Cami is the nanny for.

This book did a wonderful job of hooking you from the first chapter. You want to keep reading to see what happens and what lead to the events in the first chapter. And believe me you will not be disappointed. I was so into the book that I finished it in a day.

I received a free copy of this book for my honest and unbiased review. This book is the second out of three books in The Blast Brothers Trilogy. The book made perfect since as a standalone book. However, it was so entertaining that I will now want to purchase the first book. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for the third book that should be coming out soon.

Cami and Mason were first introduced to us in Boom, if you haven’t read it, check it out. It is my favorite Enemies to Lovers book ever. Mason, while technically being the older brother, is basically the Patriarch of the family. Cami is the amazing best friend of the heroine from the first book. While at first Mason doesn’t want to admit his attraction to the beautiful woman who entranced his daughter, he can’t help himself from giving in to her. Cami herself took professionalism seriously, and had to get out of her own head as well. Mason made my heart ach for all that he had been through and done to protect his family, I truly felt for him and was so happy to see his HEA with Cami. I felt for Cami while they went through their journey, because waiting for Mason to get the heck out of his head wasn’t easy. It was entirely worth it.
“Safe” read and swoonworthy HEA guys!
ARC given for my honest opinion (after I couldn’t wait and literally begged the author for one because I loved the first one so much!)

better than the first book but still not good!

cami was much less annoying than both the mains in the previous book but the authors writing style.. the italics every other sentence got. to. go. and the author is good at creating tension but there is no connection between the tension and the build up to the relationship! it's like we reach a certain word count and its time for them to get together no matter what was just said.

also! i need the author to trust that we aren't idiots! everything was explained like we couldn't understand subtext or what had just occurred 3 pages prior. and the dialogue was kinda basura. they would talk at each other and then there would be 2.5 pages of inner monologuing before we got to the next line of speech.

also the final conflict/resolution is poorly executed. time flies but in no way do i believe these two fell in love with each other after rarely speaking. the heroes in this series treat the ladies like absolute garbage and barely apologize before the ladies forgive everything. it makes for a frustrating conclusion and read.

Better than the first one. No crappy flashbacks. Although wayyyy too many chapters ended the "but that wasn't what happened" cue some theatrical DUN DUN DUUUUUUN

Much like Brody in the first one, Mason purposefully acts like an ass to push Arden away. Def more of a tell than show writing style. Which is what lands it in 'just ok' territory. I wish there was more positive interaction between them. Maybe fun banter instead of arguments and misunderstanding each other on purpose? Poor Willow pretty much disappears after Mason and Arden fool around. They avoid each other, argue, and then suddenly decide they're in love. Ooooook.

I don't really want to read the next one about the ho bag brother, Chase. The bangs every willing woman, plays the not serious/go with the flow, secretly full of angst and feelings, middle child. I just... don't care?

Even though again this was an improvement from the first one.

Bang by Sabrina Stark is a billionaire loathing-to-love romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Stephanie Rose and Connor Brown. This is the second book in the Blast Brothers trilogy and can be read as a stand-alone.

This is the second book of Sabrina’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning and couldn’t wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Mason and Cami. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series Blitz so I can get Chase and Mina's story.

Connor and Stephanie did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I can’t wait to listen to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves enemies-to-lovers romance, romantic comedies, or billionaire romances.

This is an enemies to lovers romance and it is the second book in the Blast Brothers series but is standalone. I really liked Cami, who I would love to be friends with. She was a pretty funny, sweet character and I loved how she and Willow got along. As for Mason, I thought that there was a bit too much push and pull with Mason throughout the book, as he really fought against his feelings. With Mason, it felt like the author was telling us he loved Cami but it didn't always show in his actions. But I really loved Cami getting her HEA and overall, I like this world so I can't wait until the third brother gets his HEA.

The narration is excellent. I loved Stephanie Rose's voice- she was perfect for Cami and I also thought she did a great job playing the male characters. Connor Brown had a really nice voice as well and was able to play multiple characters, including female characters, easily. Overall, a fantastic narration for a really fun story.

Mason, the serious Blast Brother.
Mason is the business end of Blast Tools and home renovation TV show. Always serious, always scowling, and sometimes downright scary. ('Grumpy' is an understatement.) Very rich, very famous, and very sexy (also an understatement).
Mason, the oldest of the three brothers, is the guardian of his 8 year old little sister, Willow, and is need of a new nanny. He reluctantly hires his brother's fiance's best friend Cami who just graduated with a teaching degree without a permanent teacher's position lined up. Soon enough the sexual tension is so strong you wouldn't be able to cut through it with Blast Tools strongest chainsaw. There is absolutely no way that either one will show what's going on in their minds.
Cami loves Willow. Mason adores Willow and would do anything for her. Willow loves them both. It's a no-win or an all-win situation. It's so frustrating - in the best ways.

While I tend to not like billionaire-nanny tropes so much, I'm really glad I picked up Bang. While most books in the trope are heavy on insta-lust and alpha male assholes, Sabrina does a really great job of building her characters.

Cami's impervious to Mason and he's got a reason to be an ass. His background was dark but not too angsty, nor did he devolve into constant self-loathing. Cami was funny and smart. As Mason says "she cut through the bullshit without kissing my ass".

Two things I didn't like. Overuse of italics. And those sex scenes.

There are two scenes. The first one, the actual sex itself is about four sentences. The second scene is a little bit longer, but for all the sexual tension and feelings, I was disappointed in the steamy parts. GIVE ME THE GOODS!

FYI, I received a free ARC from Hidden Gems for a promise of an honest review.

Learning to love:
I really enjoyed this book and loved spending time with the hunky Blast Brothers. I thought the author did an excellent job of recapping and providing sufficient backstory so that this can be read as a standalone.
I enjoyed getting to know Mason better and although he has a cold, hard side; he is also a lonely, conflicted and caring guy on the inside. Cami is really sweet and I loved how she interacted with her 8 year old charge and was able to eventually break through Mason's walls and help him see that he was capable of love after all. You could really feel the tension between these two and I was so glad when things finally worked out for them.
Now I can't wait for brother Chase's story!

This is the second book in the Blast Brothers Series, a billionaire romantic comedy. This is a series of interconnected stories. You can listen to this story as a standalone, but I recommend you to listen to this series in order. Mason and Cami's enemies-to-lovers story is fun, sweet, and sexy. I like their banter. Mason is a sexy alpha billionaire, handsome, and caring. Cami is lovely, smart, supportive, and caring. They share a sizzling chemistry. The supporting characters are great. I liked Willow, Mason's kid sister. I was happy to see again Brody and Arden from Boom, the first book in the series. Stephanie Rose and Connor Brown did a fantastic job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listen to Blitz, Chase's story, the next book in the series. #PinkFlamingoProductions #AudiobookObsession

Title: Bang
Author: Sabrina Stark
Format: Audio
Narrators: Stephanie Rose, Connor Brown
Genre: Romance, comedy, enemies to lovers, nanny romance
Standalone: Yes
Part of a Series: Blast Brothers book 2
POV: Cami and Mason
Steam Level: Slow burn to steamy

Bang is the second book in the Blast Brothers series. It features Cami and Mason. In Bang Mason hires Cami, who cannot find a job as a new teacher, to be his nanny after going through quite a few nannies beforehand. I liked Bang a lot better than Boom (book 1). It was funny and I liked how Sabrina Stark pulls you in from the first scene. I'm glad I gave this series another chance and I look forward to the third book in this series.

Bang is about Mason's desperate search for a decent nanny. All he wants is one that cares about his sister, isn't out for his money, and isn't selling pictures of his sister and him. He pushes for Cami to take the job. She likes his sister, and the sister loves her. The only problem is she hates him, and he hates her. Plus, He loves her and doesn't want to mess things for his sister. After Mason gives her an offer that she can't refuse, she agrees to take the job.
I enjoy the book, but my only main problem was Livia. She got on my nerves, but I like that she cares about her friend somewhat. I loved the Pov jumping between Mason and Cami. The discovery of Mason's heart under all his assholeness was great.

I volunteered to give an honest review in exchange for the book.

I absolutely love this story! This book is about Mason Blast. If you read Boom I will suggest you read this first. Mason is the older brother of the Blastoviak family. He raised his brothers and sister all by himself. He became jaded. He is serious, smart, handsome and a -hole. He grew on me throughout the story. Cami is Arden's best friend. She is sweet, smart, genuine, and beautiful. Cami is in a tough situation and that's where Mason stepped in. I love her throughout the book. I love Mason and Cami banter and their chemistry is off the charts! The writing was done beautifully. This story is Amazing just like Sabrina! Beautiful work again! I can't wait for Chase story!

I absolutely love this author! I've read a few of her books now and haven't been disappointed with any so far.
I chose this book first even though it's book 2 because come on, who can resist a sexy billionaire and an educated Nanny looking after an 8 year old in a mansion without emotions flying & the possibility of a hot & steamy one night stand that may or may not lead to others? Orrr I love broody Mason who has a heart of gold once he lets you in and Cami is so funny with her non cursing that I read this in 2 sittings which made me put my diy on hold and have a very late night! I loved it and can't wait to start Boom (the first book) which I've already bought for some Friday night reading!

I was captivated by Mason and Cami in this story. Mason’s sexy, protective, demanding and misunderstood persona had me begging for more. Mason’s cocky, domineering and abrasive attitude had me wondering how Cami would breathe through those walls. Cami is so amazing in this story, not only with Willow but with Mason and her friends too. Cami has a huge heart full of patience and understanding. This story had me hooked from the moment Mason ignored Livia and I couldn’t wait for Mason’s layers to peel away, and I was not disappointed. Mason does have a huge heart, his overbearing protectiveness over his baby sister Willow is adorable, and his jealousy makes him human. This is an amazing story that won’t disappoint.

Wow! I fell in love with this book so easily, Cami is such a sweetheart and she had me laughing a lot during this book with her non cussing words! Mason is your typical tall, dark, handsome brooding male that doesn’t believe in love because he was never shown it during his childhood. For me this book was very gripping and the story was brilliant, it was beautifully written and you can tell how passionate the author is because she makes you feel all the things the characters are experiencing and that alone tells me it’s a fantastic book, it’s a great steamy romance with a HEA. What more could you want? I’m glad I had to privilege to read this as an ARC.

I have to say, I'm a big fan of Sabrina's work! And when a new book comes out, I don't even bother reading the blurb....

Sabrina has a way with words that bring the hottest, meanest, moodiest, most sarcastic of guys to life and turn them into the most appealing and loving guys that you will adore!!

The grumpy guy in this book is Mason, the eldest of the Blast brothers, along with sweet nanny Cammi who takes no nonsense from anyone!

Both polar opposites but yet make the perfect couple!

An excellent read with plenty of frustrated laughs and I can't wait to read Chases story!!! 4.5

This is the second book in the series about three brothers. Mason is the oldest who has spent his life taking care of everyone, including being a father to his little sister. Cami is the best friend of Arden from book 1 and hied as the latest of dozens of nannies. I loved the sister, Willow, and her almost adult relationship with Cami. Mason and Cami’s dispositions are as opposite as you can get which brings tension and angst to the story. As usual it has the witty and clever banter you come to expect from Sabrina Stark. No clue as to who will be the heroine for Chase in book 3. I highly recommend this romance/comedy series.

This was a pretty good read, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and loved the main characters. There was a lot of push and pull between the main characters and at times I wanted to slap them both upside their heads.

I think my favorite character in this book though was the little sister, she was not only adorable but she also pulled no punches with the others as well. Least favorite character was by far the best friend...she is a gold digger who had no issues with hitting on her BFF's "boyfriend". Granted Cami denied being in a relationship, her friend shouldn't have continued to pop up everywhere.

I just can’t.

Let first say the author can write. I really liked her first book so I decided to give her second book a chance. Hated it. I didn’t like the main character. She didn’t feel real or like she had any real flaws. The only thing you could call her is an over thinker. That’s it. I feel like Mason deserved a nice girl but not a perfect can’t do anything wrong. The back story for Cami didn’t feel flushed out enough and character was just lacking. Mason’s back story was great.

Also, this it’s advertised as an enemies to lover romance, But It’s a boss/employee romance.

Didn’t finish the book.

But I will emphasis the author knows how to write.

DNF at 47%. This was painful. The majority of the relationship between the MCs occurred through internal monologues. Most of h's dialogue came in the form of a question. She needed to clarify absolutely everything no matter how obvious or simple.

An example I made up that I feel represents most of her conversations:

Character: "Hey h, do you want a cookie?"

h: "you mean like to eeeeeeaaatttt?

So. Painful.

I think the h was supposed to be spunky and able to go toe-to-toe with the grumpy H but she never quite got there. Honestly, I think she was too confused all the time to understand anything that was going on.
