Felt like a boomer reading a travel guide, ngl LMAO.
Skimmed through this on the flight.

Did I skip the 'Cultural' section of the book? Absolutely.
Did I only focus on the 'Food & Drink' section? Of course.

Did I, yesterday on Saturday night, after a mango marg "as an ironic joke bro" order a Kylie Jenner-inspired beverage? PERHAPS.

My point is - I didn't apply anything from the guide. Google Maps is the way.
Still decent I'd say.

Book helped me get started before arriving in Bali. Maps and recommendations were all solid. Recommend it to anyone traveling for the first time or returning.

Helpful info for our trip to Bali. The names are so different from our own that a pronunciation guide would have been helpful. Didn't read the info on Lombok, since we won't be going there.

Another trip done and another LP on the shelf! Helped us orient during the planning phase, and the history section at the back was a useful primer.

This seems to be a thorough guidebook. I am using it to plan a trip to Bali, so I guess I'll see if the advice is good once I go.
