Montana Daddies #10

Sheriff Daddy

Rate this book
Georgina James had always strived to be better, smarter, stronger, faster.
Frankly, it was exhausting.
Drawn back to Wishingbone, she keeps running into the handsome, overprotective, entirely-too bossy sheriff.
Ed doesn’t know why he’s so intrigued by the closed-off FBI agent. But there’s something about her that tugs at his every Daddy instinct. He wants to coddle her, protect her, put her over his knee . . .
When someone from Georgina’s past returns, she knows that she has to protect Ed by leaving.
Only Ed isn’t about to let her go.

Laylah Roberts’ Montana Daddies are back, and i love it!
This time it’s the delicious sheriff Ed who finds his little girl, one that needs cuddles and kisses....badly!
A little that’s been smothered most of her life by a mother that cares more about appearances than her own children.
A little that needs someone to see the real her,and coax her to come out and play.

Georgie is tired of living the way she does, hiding her true self from the world.
After she got shot on her last assignment, she’s been sent on leave, and the only place she wanted to be was with sherriff Ed.....
But it looks like he’s already with Kiesha.....right?
It’s a good thing Kiesha decides Georgie is her new bestie and invites her to join her team for Trivia Night at The Wishing Well bar.
Having a few drinks is a good way to make all her troubles go away,until....

Ed is used to breaking up trouble at The Wishing Well, but the kind he finds that evening, make him wonder.
And when he decides at the end of the next day to check on Georgie, she’s gone missing.
When he finally finds her, she’s in need of a doctor, and that’s when he knows this girl needs someone to look after her.
Seeing who’s hiding behind the mask she shows the world, convinces him he’s found the little he’s been searching for....
All he needs to do,is show her she can trust him,and show her he’s the Daddy she needs.

If only trouble didn’t follow her.....
Can he protect her from harm?
And her mother......?

This was another beautiful story in this wonderful series, one i enjoyed very much!
Even though it takes a while before the sexy times....
Because it’s so beautiful to see the patience with which Ed shows Georgie she cán trust him and show him her little.
And the caveman he becomes when his girl is threatened,or another man tries to get his hands on her.
Even if it’s one of her 6 older brothers....

And i loved Captain Georgie, the little pirate, and her mate,Big Daddy Ed!

FBI agent Georgina and Montana sheriff Ed first shared a kiss in Daddy in Cowboy Boots; scared by her feelings, the very inhibited Georgina ran away. After a traumatic incident at work, she's back in Wishingbone to give her relationship with Ed a chance. He's an enthusiastic Daddy Dom, but can she set aside a lifetime of repression to pursue a DD/lg relationship with him? Note: Certain lines of action from the last book appear in this one.

As usual, Ms. Roberts offers us a very likeable couple that doesn't, quite frankly, deviate from her usual relationship dynamic: an overly-protective, possessive H who will do anything for his physically and/or emotionally wounded h. While I appreciated that Georgina was older than most h's in this genre, and that she wasn't typically feminine, I didn't find either that compelling -- Ed, in particular, evinced little personality other than an almost pathological concern for Georgina's safety. In fact, it was so smothering that realistically it should have increased her anxiety rather than alleviate it. That said, if you like mild, consensual age play (the pirate scenes were sweet), you will enjoy this.

Ms. Roberts is an enormously repetitious writer and because grading has left me crankier than usual, the constant conversations between Ed and Georgina about her fear covered no new ground after a while. She also piles on her usual number of melodramatic backstories and multiple climaxes (plot, not sexual) that really add nothing to her stories. In terms of prose, I caught a few inconsistencies (how, for example, are Ed and Kiesha childhood friends if he's at least two decades older than she is?), but no glaring typos.

Finally, although this is the tenth volume in the author's Montana Daddies series, it felt more like a spin-off: rather than the usual cast of ranch characters, we are introduced to a whole slew of new faces -- each funnier and quirkier than the last and all, quite frankly, more interesting than the MC. Any one of them could get the next book, but my money's on Kiesha.

3 1/2 stars. I don't like it when H's punish h's for what are less "bad" behaviors and more coping mechanisms; if I were Georgina, I would have safeworded out of that punishment. I've liked other books in this series better. At this point, after ten entries, they're too formulaic and predictable.

Another Daddy/little romance with multiple suspenses! Really?!?

This was a 3.5 - 4 stars until the last paragraph- now it's a 2 at best. The way the last page is written it feels like it needed more- like it's an abrupt cliffhanger even though it's the epilogue. I kept trying to turn the page but there wasn't a next page. I liked Ed and Georgina for the most part but some of it felt really false. Georgie has got to be the most unluckiest person in the world!

She's grown up with a 'Joan Crawford psycho mom', and five over-protective brothers that she avoids; we never find out just how rich her family is or who they are, but they have a private jet; she lost her only loving parent- her father- young, to a violent end; she's stalked, kidnapped, and tortured in her teens; she gets shot, stalked, and kidnapped twice more now in her 30's; she's had no counseling to speak of; after all of that she keeps running full out at night unawhere of her surroundings; and we're supposed to believe she's a fully capable functioning adult with a few anxiety issues. WHAT?!!! Just No. And Ed keeps switching from punishment to over-protectivness when all these things were out of his control and he just feels helpless.

Georgina never quite pulls off the FBI agent persona, she never meets any other 'Daddy/littles' to enlarge her safety, happy kink zone, Ed won't let her do ANYTHING but play as a little, and she doesn't seem to have any good domestic or working qualities to find another job or be happy at home. What's her future look like? She was just too lost and immature to be believable. Just sayin'...... Not my favorite Montana Daddies book.

Quick Summary:
Georgina James has always tried to prove herself. She’s dedicated her life to proving to her mother that she is a James and capable. She doesn’t show her fear, she never cries and she never asks for help.

When she suffers a panic attack on the job, she’s put on indefinite leave until she can handle coming back to work.

With no friends and her family spread far and wide, she finds herself driving back to Wishingbone, Montana and the man that kissed her so passionately it woke something inside her that Georgie is finally ready to explore.

Except her spontaneous plan might have sounded great when she was running towards her dream man, but trying to shed years of conditioning and self doubt and actually expressing her wants and needs to the strong, confident Sheriff is a whole other story.

When her health lands her in the hospital, Ed is finally able to see a different side to the cold serious FBI agent who keeps pushing him away. He sees the same want in her eyes, reflected in his and he grabs at the chance to show Georgie what he can offer her if she only gives them a chance.

🖤 My Thoughts 🖤
Georgie is a character that will pull at your heartstrings. She was such a genuine character, with vulnerabilities, strengths and a Little side that will melt you every time she makes an appearance. I think a lot of readers will find her relatable and likable. I know I did!

This Little/Daddy relationship was written so beautifully for both Georgie and Ed. Georgie is a first time Little and although she’s read a lot of books and even joined a Littles group online, she isn’t sure she’s ready to open herself up to trusting someone with that side of herself in real life. Meeting Ed was just the push she needed to let down her walls and explore her deeply buried Little side.

Her family life was definitely complicated and messy and it effected her all throughout her adult life. Her mom is a real piece of work! Sadly, Georgie has a lot of emotional trauma that colors her way of thinking and coping with her own feelings. Her emotional turmoil comes through to Ed and I loved that he was perceptive enough to constantly offer himself as a buffer for Georgie. Even when she wasn’t ready to take him up on his offer, the fact that he was always there patiently waiting to help, really broke down a lot of Georgie’s insecurities and fears.

He was going to show her that she could be both strong and submissive. The she could go out there and conquer the world, then come back to him and have him coddle and take care of her.

I loved Ed. He was a dominate old fashioned guy who loved to be needed. He was strong, stern and sexy! But he was also so understanding, supportive and nurturing. I personally loved how LR wrote his character. He was the perfect combination for Georgie. She needed a Daddy that was patient, persistent and committed.

Christ. He was starting to realize that he was just as insane as the rest of the people in this town. He might try to be the voice of reason. To keep the law. But when it came to his girl, he wasnt’ thinking like a sheriff.

Nope. He was all man.

The story wouldn’t be complete without the interesting cast of secondary characters! Laylah Roberts has a gift for being able to pique your interest with every new character she introduces. And I think she’s outdone herself with the wacky Wishingbone residents. Each character shined bright and memorable, even with the limited page time they each got.

“Damn, baby, you’re in the right town if you like strange things.”

They offered light hearted, sweet and laugh out loud moments that seriously left my kindle riddled with highlighted passages! It was a wild, hilarious ride that - not surprisingly - made this another great read.

Favorite Moments:
❣️Aunt Marie!!! I’m totes jelly over her Little store!!!! If anyone knows where I can get some cute rainbow light up shoes in women’s size, I need!!!

⭐️ Hands down, this book had some of the cutest Little scenes with Georgie and Daddy!

“Aye-aye, Captain Georgie.”
“Well get to it than, Second Mate Daddy.”
“Hey, can’t I be first mate?”
“No way. That’s Squakers’ job.”
“Outdone by a parrot. Story of my life.”

🌈 Loved Kiesha, she was hilarious!

“Bet that’s the first time you’ve ever been given a black eye form a rubber dildo, boss man.”

Also all the “possible” (please, please, please!) new characters that I hope we see more of in future books 🤗

💖 Isa, Cleo and Noah, Juliet (she’s by far my favorite new character. I already love this shy character so so much!), Loki/Lachlan, ALL the James brothers (six yummy, definitely dominant alpha males!), Remy and lastly, Rueben Jones (Juliet’s older brother). I definitely smell a spin off series for this whole wacky Wishingbone crew and hopefully the James brothers!

🔥 Heat Level: 5/5 🔥

Finally Ed gets a story and what a story it is. I laughed , I cried, I got mad and I stayed up very, very late reading Georgina and Ed's story. Her past broke my heart but when Ed realizes she belongs to him, he's completely there for her. All the secondary characters were awesome and I really hope we get to see stories for them!! And let's talk about Loki, I NEED his story!!!! LOL Ms. Roberts always pours her heart and soul into her work and you can tell by how wonderfully you get drawn into it while you're reading. Another hit and I can't wait for more!!

4.4 stars.
So freaking good!
I have been missing some Laylah Roberts dirty words in my life.
As always, I was super pleased with how well things were laid out about their dynamic. The consent is fabulous in all of her books and this one was just as good.
I loved how she was more of a tomboy in Little space. With the pirates and swords and all of that.
That’s one of the things I am always super pleased with about Laylah’s books. All the characters are uniquely themselves.
All the side characters were so fun and playful, I loved Loki, and I hope we hear more about him in the future. Plus Rueben...hello?...I need more details please.

I loved it.
Only thing I would say is that it could use another round of editing to get out the few minor spelling errors I noticed throughout.
Oh wait. I guess not the only thing. But this isn’t all that important to the story, just something I would personally have liked to know.
We never get to see what Georgie decides to do for work.
I was betting on self defense classes of some kind, but who knows.

Still. I can’t wait for more from her.
I’m sad I read this so freaking fast. But I just couldn’t make myself put it down.

Re-Read: 12/03/21
4.4 stars.

Second time around was just as enjoyable. So glad I got bored and reread this series.
I have the same complaints as the first time though.
A few spelling errors, and we never got to know what she’s going to do for work.
But.
I also have the same praises, and they outweigh the complaints by a landslide.

I’m also a bit in love with pirates, so all the pirate playing was especially fun for me.

Pirate Georgie Finds The Treasure

Laylah has done it again! Another wonderful addition to the Montana Daddies series!

This story was definitely stolen by Keisha and the townspeople of Wishingbone. We met so many characters that I am just sure we'll see in future books, they are too funny not too!

Ed was the kindest, sweetest and most patient Daddy. He was the perfect blend of big and strong but also soft and sweet.

Georgie really was a Little in hiding and Ed and the people of Wishingbone really brought her into her own and she blossomed throughout the whole book.

Another hit, thanks Laylah!

Ed and Georgie shared a moment a few months back. Georgie needs help, and relives that moment. Ed is not quite sure what to and what’s going on. Ed and Georgie have a beautiful, but difficult, road to their HEA. Love her brothers!

Rating 4.5 rounded up. Full disclosure I received an ARC Copy of this book from the author. This is Sheriff Ed's story a character we are introduced to in book 3. This was a fun book overall with hilarious antics of newly introduced characters. Oddly enough you do not have to have read any of the previous books to enjoy this book. It has a lot of new characters introduced, which will most likely get their own story or spinoff series.

What kept me from giving it a full 5 stars is not because of the writing but personal preference. The female protagonist has a highly intense job but in the end with no job at all. I would love to see this dynamic explored with a work outside the home professional female. The other is I would like other drama outside of a kidnapping. However, like I said personal preference.

Trivia Night at the Wishing Well bar will never be the same. Protective Georgina faces all odds and kicks nay-sayers to the curb. But who will protect her when danger strikes from an unexpected side? Who is courageous enough to face down 6 men with more ferociousness than normal? And who is the one willing to play second fiddle to her pirate games?

The couple: Ed and Georgina (Georgie)

Romance genre: DDlg
Series: Montana Daddies
Length: 384pages

Plot: Ed is the sheriff of Wishingbone, MT, where he tries to keep order amongst the unrelentingly weird residents. Georgina is an FBI agent who shared a mind-blowing kiss with the sheriff a few months back and then ran. She's back, and Ed's not sure why, but when Keisha, Ed's assistant and friend, adopts Georgie as her new bestie, and then Georgie ends up in the hospital, it's clear that Georgie will be around for a little longer this time, and he can make a play. But Georgie comes with baggage in the form of a horrible mother and six overprotective older brothers, anxiety, and PTSD from a work-related incident as well as a stalker issue in the past and the present. Ed has a lot of work to do to make Georgie his, but he's up to the challenge.

Character development: I like that Ed is an older hero - he's 49, and still in his prime, but admits he's not as young as he used to be. Georgie is 34 but is also a Little, which is fortunate since Ed is a Daddy Dom. Getting Georgie to let go enough to share her Little with him won't be easy though. There are some great funny moments - Ed getting hit in the face in the "dildo incident" and any scene with Keisha. We're also introduced to a bunch of new characters that will hopefully show up in future books: Keisha, Juliet, Xavier, Georgie's brothers amongst others. I really dislike large groups of friends in most romance novels, but in this case, I felt like it enhanced the story rather than detracting from the plot.

Next book in the series: Her Daddies Saving Grace

This was a totally riveting read, the characters and the plot were simply wonderful
I loved this book it was absolutely wonderful and was full of everything I have come to love from this wonderful author, I read it with intense combination of intrigue and action and a good helping of comedy and laughter.
The characters were simply wonderful and the interaction between them was so well written, Sheriff Ed is the mainstay of his town and Georgina who is employed as an FBI agent has been away for some. time but since everything at work and her private life has gone to “Hell in a Handbasket”, so she had taken some time off and returned to the only person and place she had ever felt safe.
After Ed discovers what has been going on in her life after discovering her at the center of a barfight and then collapsed after a marathon jog, she was not taking care of herself and so Ed had decided he was going to care for his girl, along with half of the quiz team and her Motel next door neighbour who had also been one of the people searching for her.
As the story continues and Ed has his little girl open up he discovers that she has always wanted a Daddy, always wanted to be loved and cared for instead of being constantly told by her dominating mother that she should never show weakness, emotion or tears.
Ed is ready to step up to the plate and ensure that his beautiful “Georgie Girl” never feels sad, a failure or unhappy again if he had his way…..
This is a wonderful story you will not be able to put down once you begin reading.
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

This is the 10th book in this incredible series and each book quickly becomes my favorite. There were so many things I loved about this one, but without giving away spoilers the easiest one to talk about is the new characters that are introduced. The town of Wishingbone is full of amazing, humorous, loving, generous characters and I hope so many of them get their own books in the future.
Georgie and Ed are both in law enforcement. Ed is the Sheriff and Georgina is an FBI agent. Their paths crossed in a previous book where they shared a kiss that would change their worlds. Georgie hasn't had an easy past and her future isn't looking all that great when she decides to go back to Wishingbone to reconnect with the sexy Sheriff, but he's been hurt and has his walls firmly in place. There are outside forces that are going to encourage these two on their path to love, and some of them are hilarious. I tend to read in bed, next to my husband after he's gone to sleep, and while I could muffle the sounds of my laughter into my pillow I couldn't stop the bed from shaking because I was laughing so hard. Note to self: don't read Laylah Roberts books in bed. They need to be read somewhere where I won't get strange looks, or keep my husband awake, when I bust out laughing. I thoroughly loved this story. It was sweet, steamy, passionate, hilarious, excitement, suspenseful, and had one of the sweetest endings, ever. This is one series that I will never get enough of and I can't wait for the next book.

I absolutely loved this story from the beginning to the very end. Georgina is returning to Wishingbone, to where the only man who has ever made her feel safe, lives. Having to admit that she needs Ed is going to be very hard but she is determined. Suffering from nightmares and panic attacks, she literally runs until totally exhausted but this time she is in unfamiliar territory and lost. Collapsed on the road, Georgie is found by Ed and rushed to the hospital. Discharged but still needing care, Ed takes her home with him and from this point their relationship finally gets started. During this time Georgie’s Little side starts to appear and the sassy banter between Georgie and Ed is absolutely hilarious. The Little dialogue is so well written that you can easily picture a child’s thought process as the sassiness is voiced. Even though this story is about Ed and Georgie, there is another person who plays a big part in the story and that is Kiesha. I loved her sass, her spunk and her outlook of life. Along with her friends Isa, Juliet and Cleo, they added so much humor to this story and they become “besties” with Georgie. There is so much going on in this story, including kidnappings, that you need to read it in order to see how well written and entertaining that it is. There is a HEA but there is so much that happens first. This is a fantastic book that I loved and would highly recommend it as a great read.

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series by Ms. Roberts but Ed and
Georgina’s story was by far my favorite. I have to say that I was initially
drawn by the humor, especially with Kiesha’s antics. Whenever she was
involved, it was absolute chaos.

My heart ached for Georgina. She had zero self-esteem, and feelings of
guilt overwhelmed her. Returning to Wishingbone and Ed took courage.
The one kiss they had shared ignited feelings, but was she ready to take
a chance and acknowledge the connection between them. She had
dreamed about finding a Daddy, but at the same time, she dreaded it.

Ed had to decide whether to fight for Georgina or let her go. He decided
to fight, and what a battle he had on his hands. I loved how he took their
relationship slowly to allow Georgina to accept her little but was she brave
enough to live out her fantasies. Ed was the ideal daddy as he encouraged
Georgina to live out her desires and start to believe in herself, and face her
demons. It was no wonder she had no self-esteem with a mother like hers.
Of course, he was also a strict daddy with a hard hand.

All the secondary characters added depth to the storyline. I loved the scene
in the kitchen, but I won't spoil the surprise. Let's say it a gem of a moment
that I won't forget for a long time. This story also includes elements of danger
that came back to haunt Georgina. I can see myself putting this book as one
of my favourite to reread when I need a pick me up.

Sheriff Daddy by Laylah Roberts is the tenth book in her Montana Daddies series and I have once again fallen head over heels in love!

Georgina is so sweet and endearing and I just wanted to wrap her up in the biggest hug.

And Ed? It was so good to get to know him better, and I adore him!

Can I just say how much I love Georgie's brothers? Such a hoot! Love their crazy overbearing nature and how it's just out of love, but also love how Georgie grows and blossoms, finding herself, her own path, her happiness.

There is drama, there is intrigue, there is hilarity, there is a ton of cuteness, and there's real friendship and real love. What more can you ask for? So, what are you waiting for? Time to escape to Montana and hang out with some Daddies!

P. S. Kiesha is hilarious! So sassy! I hope she gets a story too! And I love Cleo, Isa, and Juliet!

P. P. S. Already so curious about Remy! And sweet Xavier! And Loki! And Reuben!

Sexy , Funny, and Sooo Romantic

This was a wonderful story. Georgie Girl was so strong and fearless without even knowing it. Ed was a true Alpha who loved hard. Also, all of Georgie girl friends were hilarious especially Keisha which seem to be an African American young lady. I hope to see books about them all and maybe one or Georgie girl friends could get with her brothers. Juliet needs a strong man but think Ida is spoken for by Remy. Keisha I think needs Reuben who can be extra strict I think but she could make anyone laugh. I loved the girl power in this story and the support they gave each other. The best thing is the love story and a woman strong enough to allow a man to lead who actually can lead and know where to take the relationship. Bravo to the Author

Once more a wonderful and interesting story. And i have to say i enjoyed reading every bit of this story, the charters were more than wonderful , and i loved this sweet town. I must admit i had to smile at the antics of one certain sherrifs helper. But im sure she will have her own story sometime. This story is about sheriff Ed and a certain FBI agent named Georgina. They shared one kiss before ,but now Georgina is back, she wont tell the truth at first about why she has come back, but Kiesha is determined to make her a friend and she that she is ok. But really she isnt ok at all, and soon Ed discovers what is happening and why. He is sure she is a little and decides that Georgina is now his, he just has to persuade Georina of that fact.

I have definately given this a 5 star rating, and i certainly hope that all the girls get their own heas.

Sheriff Daddy by Laylah Roberts was just another great book in her Montana Daddies series. Her characters are always so interesting. Ed Granger is the sheriff in the wacky town of Wishingbone. Georgina James is the FBI agent that returns. Poor thing. Her life is a mess. Ed is a Daddy Dom and is very over protective and bossy. After several interactions with Georgina he .has decided that she needs him in her life. I loved this couple. We have drama, action and some hilarious scenes with Kiesha. I certainly hope she gets a book since that girl needs a keeper. Also introduced were Georgina's very hot dominate brothers. I feel maybe possible books in our future. With all this said the book was definitely a fantastic, fun and lets not forget sexy read. Kudos!

I cannot get enough of Laylah Roberts Books!! Sheriff Ed and the crazy town of Wishingbone were
so much fun. Georgina or Georgie as Kiesha nicknamed her and immediately claimed her as Bestie. This town gets under your skin and makes you chuckle. The steamy chemistry between Sheriff Ed and Georgina will melt your pants off. This has exciting dangerous twists and fully fleshed out characters that you won’t want to leave behind. The crossover from some of the Sanctuary Ranch was the cherry on top of the ice cream!! I really wish that some characters were in the real world. Wouldn’t that be great?

I love that Georgina and and Ed aren't kids and they still were able to give their relationship a chance. Georgina has had to keep herself so closed off that when she feels something for the attractive Sherriff, she's afraid to let herself go. Ed's not sure what she's hiding, but he wants to find out. This story is full of action adventure and steamy romance, that it knocked my socks off! Loved the characters and the storyline. It's a must read! Bravo!

.... one of the best books in this series

This was definitely one of the best books in this series. I truly enjoyed that the heroine and the hero were both older than the early 20 somethings that were get in most novels. These characters were well fleshed out and you were made to feel something for, literally, everyone in the book. I will say that the second kidnapping wasn’t needed to further the story. I hope we get Keisha’s story as well as Loki’s. Those two kept a smile on my face while reading this book. Highly recommend this book.

Seriously brilliant

Oh my god I loved this book.....I laughed so much especially when other characters like Keisha interacted with Georgie. The whole town is certifiably nuts but in a good way!! I love the way Laylah writes the humour along with seriousness as well its an extremely talented and brilliant way of writing and one I throughly enjoy reading. This book has made me smile today something I desperately needed at the moment....brilliant just brilliant

Worth the wait!

Well worth five stars should be more. This long awaited (on my part) book, Ed's story so well written , so romantic,so naughty. Love these books. If you are in to a little kinky romance with a splattering of spanking but with suspense and drama thrown in then this is a good read for you.

Georgina seeks out Ed out for assistance on a case. Issues from her past unfold. The love between these 2 is unconditional. Kiesha is hilarious. This book is a pleasure to read!

Finally

I love this story. I have been waiting for the sheriff to get his own story and it was done well. Quite a few nail biting moments, but i still want to move to Wishingbone.

...hmmm

I love This series. It was my first in the DDLG book world.. but idk.. maybe I feel her mother didn't get what was coming to her? No one said anything that really needed to be said? Or the brothers? Like How the made it so she was desked? That for me was a hard limit . Maybe I'm not in the right mind set? And I do not like frigging. I think she got wnought with the hand and paddle why add more? Especially when she already knew she was wrong and needed to fix it? Idk I feel like the last few books I've read... They haven't really been LITTLE more big unlike the earlier series. I will say I did like Juliet and her brother or everyone's reaction to him and Xavier.

Ed’s story did not disappoint! Hello new book boyfriend 😏

WARNING! This contains themes that aren’t for everyone so be sure to check out the description and warnings first.

~Georgina grew up with strict rules that shaped her life. Hiding behind a cold mask is better than being judged or rejected. Ed wants what every man in his town has.. his own girl to love and cherish. Butt hurt over being ghosted, he tries not to give the beautiful FBI agent the time of day when she shows up asking about a case.~

These two are perfection. They make you believe love is still attainable at an older age (Ed is almost 50). He really brings Georgie back to life and its so beautiful to watch. I really wanted to bitch slap her mother.

I LOVE Keisha. Cannot wait for her story! Hopefully with Harrison. 😍

Loved seeing more of Gigi, Macca, Clint & Mari!

Can you read as a standalone? Yes. Should you? Absolutely not. This series is amazing and you get so much more out of it by reading every book. Trust me.
