I read XOXO, Aster after seeing him in Bailey. That was a super cute story. With Jasper being Charlie’s brother, and Byron being one of Aster's best friends, I was eager to see their story. I was especially eager to see how Mr. Straight Jasper would suddenly turn into a Daddy who was into ABDL. Jasper knew some about Daddies and littles because of research he’d done when he was with woman who was into the lifestyle way back when. So he understood Charlie and Aster’s relationship to an extent.
Jasper suddenly decides not only is he not as straight as he thought he was, but also that he’s a Daddy who is into ABDL. So, he signs up for the same pen pal program that brought Charlie and Aster together in hopes of finding his own boy someday.
Watching Aster and Charlie fall in love has made Byron happy for them, yet sad because he wants his own Daddy. With Aster’s encouragement, he signs up for the same pen pal program that brought Aster and Charlie together.
You obviously see where this is going.
I’m not going to go a whole lot into the story. I’m just going to throw out what I liked and didn’t like about it.
I didn’t buy Jasper’s sudden change with his sexuality, especially after seeing (over and over) that he’s ‘no longer straight.’
Jasper’s described as having ADD and ADHD. I have ADHD, and the diagnosis and explanations made zero sense to me. I know every person is different, and I know there are different forms of it, but even after researching it a little before typing this review, I was shaking my head a little.
At 63% I was pulling my hair out because it was dragging so much.
At 71% Jasper and Byron have their very first phone conversation, meaning up to this point, everything was supposedly building up in their relationship. 71% is WAY too far into the book for me for them to start talking talking to each other. Not to mention that during that one conversation, Jasper called Byron baby over and over, to the point I was almost rolling my eyes.
Hey, I love endearments as much as the next guy – I’m a southerner, we’re all about them – but it felt like overkill considering they’d only corresponded via snail mail until that call.
They’d never even seen photos of each other, yet they’re already talking about Jasper moving across the country and them having a life together? This was at like 75% or so? Uh, no.
At one point, Jasper is with Aster and Charlie and he hears Byron’s voice on speakerphone, not knowing the person speaking is BYRON. He figured it was just one of Aster’s good friends. Jasper freezes and goes somewhat catatonic, I think is the way it was described? when he hears his voice. I would understand had he known it was Byron, but to have a super silly reaction over some guy’s voice because the voice ‘does something to you’ or whatever? Again, no.
They don’t even see each other face-to-face until 85%. And I have to say for a man (Jasper) to have never had sex with a guy, he damn sure came across as an expert. ;) The same applies to his being a Daddy. Not only did he realize he’s gay, bi, or pan (he’s not sure), but he’s also a sex pro and the perfect Daddy from the get-go.
While I totally expect stories to not be that realistic – Hello! It’s fiction – I still couldn’t grasp how suddenly everybody and their mama (figure of speech) can just up and move across the country in a matter of weeks. I’m not referring to Charlie for Aster. Charlie and Aster had built up a relationship – had even spent time together in person – before he did. Charlie had also been at a crossroads when it came to his life, his career, and pretty much everything else. I’m talking about Jasper and his friends, Doyle and Fisher. My little ADHD brain would be in total overdrive had anybody even JOKED with me about moving across the country in literally no time at all.
In the real world, most people can't just pick up and move house - and jobs - in a few days or weeks time.
While I did like this okay, I just couldn’t see Jasper as any type of Daddy, and when it did happen, it just didn’t work for me. I also didn’t see Byron as much of a little or princess.
I did like seeing Aster and Charlie again, though Charlie was mostly in the background.
At some point, I'm sure I'll go back into the series. For the time-being, I'm going to go into the Club Deny series so I can read Tucker's soon. I loved him in Bailey.

This was absolutely adorable. I love DDlb stories and add in the pen pal trope? Yes.
We met Jasper back in Charlie’s book since he’s his younger brother. Charlie met Aster through the pen pal program and Aster has a best friend named Byron who is also a Little.
Jasper has been questioning his sexuality. Byron wants a Daddy. They both end up requesting a pen pal from the program and get matched with each other. Sort of a coincidence I suppose, but the lady who ran that pen pal program certainly knew what she was doing when she matched them. She knew all about Charlie and Aster since they met from the program as well.
Aaaanyway, they write letters and end up eventually calling each other on the phone. They don’t find out about the relation to Charlie and Aster until a bit later on. Byron agrees that Jasper will be his Daddy. They discuss some ABDL but it doesn’t get put into play until the last 10% of the book. They also don’t meet or have sex until the last 10% as well.
It was cute, but I was missing the whole sexual aspect of it in the beginning. They were connecting but there wasn’t any phone sex or any discussion about anything remotely sexual up until they actually had sex for the first time. I would’ve liked more before then.
I’m suuuuuper excited to read about Pierce. I was intrigued by him as a character. He’s a kind of shy Daddy. I can’t wait to see how he finds and connects with his boy.
Overall I really enjoyed this book but I think I liked book 1 just slightly better. It was still good to read and I’ll definitely be continuing on with the rest of this series when the books are released.

XOXO, Byron by A.W. Scott is a queer-awakening, kink-awakening Daddy/little story, with a Daddy with ADHD and a little with anxiety.
I think the best part of this story is the mental health rep and neurodiversity rep, how therapy is handled, and overall there is a sense that these two are not being 'compromised' or forced to be someone they aren't for each other. Byron and Jasper are both so sweet, and Jasper's way of figuring himself out came before Byron, and I like that. He had dated other men to figure it out, had close queer friends to discuss questions he had, and generally it is not an angsty story and felt realistic.
Byron and Jasper are both close in age, and while it is instalove in how they get together, their moments were so cute and I was just very happy for them both and how they suited each other. Both in the kink play and as partners. Their relationship aside, honestly the best part of these is just how genuine and organic the friendships are built between everyone. I know they are future MCs, but they don't take up too much page time and feel different enough from each other I don't get them confused.
There are some editing issues with this, more noticeable in the first half. Despite that, I do recommend this book for some no-angst fluff!

Cute
This is sweet and cute like the first one, main complaint is I wish it was maybe longer? There isn’t much age play or really abdl, mostly just talk. The majority is them writing each other, which I love that way of meeting. Just wish there was more after the couple are together and wish there were actual Age play and abdl senes.. which is my main reason for reading it. Over all an enjoyable quick read and will read the others to come, would like to see Pierce’s story.

Je me rends compte que les femmes ne sont pas les seules personnes que je trouve attirantes, et rester dans cette petite ville, loin de mon frère et avec un nombre limité de partenaires possibles, ne semble plus être la solution la plus amusante.
Je divague à ce stade, mais je ne savais pas trop quoi mettre dans cette chose. C'est étrange de se jeter sans aucune idée réelle de ce à quoi ressemble l'autre personne. Tant pis. Je suppose que si vous pensez que nous serons de bons correspondants, vous pouvez nous répondre. Je ne veux pas vous surcharger de questions. One of the things I love most about these short stories is how real the characters are. Grayson is a fully functioning adult who holds a job but still likes to regress to Gracie or Gray, as a integral part of himself. The Shiloh character was the one who needed to find his place and name what his kinks are and that by itself endeared me to this book. The story doesn't just automatically assume that Shiloh wants to be a Daddy.
I love A.W. Scott's writing style. She has once again proven to be a master...or I guess, mistress is more correct, of this story. It had everything a good Daddy/boy should have. There was nothing missing, there's nothing extraneous, it was perfectly... just right.
While XOXO, Bryan, can easily be read as a standalone, knowing the side characters histories from the previous books will add to your reading pleasure, so I do recommend starting at the beginning of the Princess Pen Pals Series with Aster's story.
One of the things I love most about these short stories is how real the characters are. Grayson is a fully functioning adult who holds a job but still likes to regress to Gracie or Gray, as a integral part of himself. The Shiloh character was the one who needed to find his place and name what his kinks are and that by itself endeared me to this book. The story doesn't just automatically assume that Shiloh wants to be a Daddy.

My kind of cheesy! I love that Jasper was so into figuring out what he liked and wanted. I liked the mental health visibility.
It was super sugary but I felt like there was enough activity to water it down. We were introduced to more characters; which, I feel like the author was like “Meh, let’s just go ahead and dump em all in this batch” but they didn’t take over the story imo. We got a little sprinkle of their personalities and hints of their stories.
-1 🌽 for the lack of Face time for Jyron (Basper? 🥴) There wasn’t enough of them actually together and the dearth of sexytimes loses some points as well. They needed more Princess and Daddy time.
Also, I don’t feel like Jasper was given enough character development but I have a feeling it will show up in future books.
Overall I liked it a lot. I like the characters. I like Princess Aster, although I think his personality eclipsed Byron in his own book. Such a Queen.

This was a longer book than the first in the series, and it took longer for the MC's to reach each other and their HEAs. Jasper likes his job just fine, but misses his brother a lot. He is persuaded to go the route of Pen Pals and move to his brother's new home. He is hooked up with Byron, who is best friends with Asher, His brother's new "Little." Jasper is new to being gay or bi or something and wants to explore this. gradually over time he decides he is a "Daddy" and wants "Little," diapers and all. This is just up Byron's alley. All these discoveries takes up almost the entire book and so you get to experience, as a reader, very little of Byron being...well...a "little." that is the only flaw in this book. Otherwise it is a sweet, cute story that is well worth the read.

Seri ini adalah kisah bagaimana dua orang yang jatuh cinta bukan pada pandangan pertama tetapi pada surat pertama. Temanya unik yaitu pen pals. 100-an halaman dihabiskan dengan details, bagaimana mereka bisa jadi pen pals, bertukar surat dan bla bla bla. Hingga menyisakan 40-an halaman di mana akhirnya mereka akhirnya bertemu secara langsung untuk pertama kalinya dan bagaimana hubungan Daddy/Little terjalin secara langsung bukan via surat ataupun telepon. Sangat disayangkan karena disisakan hanya sedikit untuk melihat bagaimana interaksi antara Jasper dan Byron dan bagaimana Jasper taking great care of Byron and spoil him rotten.

This story had love and good friends, and a sure HEA!

This second book in the Princess Pen Pals series was a cute, instalove Daddy kink novel with a femme/Princess Little. It was too short of course, and while it had a lot fewer proofreading issues than the first one, there were still a few places where the sentence structure didn't make sense or the wrong word was used. Anyway, I'm looking forward to book three as more people in this group of friends hopefully find their happily-ever-afters.

Byron is just so sweet but he’s so stressed. I want to just hug him. Then there you bring in Jasper, who is on the surface a bit scattered. Both men are perfect for each other. This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed the stories. I love the pen pal idea to find a Daddy. It’s unique and fun.

I love these sweet short reads.
They are perfect to read on a work day. Short enough that I can finish them even with overtime. I am so glad we got more of Jasper. I adore him. And Byron is such a sweetheart. They a perfect together. I want more of Fisher snd Doyle. And Pierce needs his own baby boy.

Love it
I really enjoyed this story and couldn't put it down until I got to the end. Jasper discovery his bisexuality and making friends was great. Byron was shy and wanted a daddy and did what his friend Aster did by finding a pen pal. It's sweet and cute I can't wait to read the next book.

Oh my goodness Jasper is the sweetest man and always supportive. Things change for him after finding out his brother is gay and said brother finds the love of his love through a pen pal program but not in a bad way. These changes led to meeting new friends I’m sure we’ll grow to adore and love as the series continues but it also leads him to his soulmate. Byron is the sweetest little and absolutely perfect for Jasper. I’m excited to see what’s coming next. ❤️😁

I really enjoyed this new authors first book so was happy to see it continues with the younger brother falling for the princesses bestie and introduces lots of new friends who will no doubt be getting their own daddy’s in the near future

Byron and Jasper are simply adorable together. This story was beautifully written. Seeing characters from prior books just added depth to this one. This series just gets better and better.
