Rate this book
The ultimate book of authentic lunar ceremonies, spells, mythos, and science, The Enchanted Moon will transform and inspire you.

“With so many books out there on lunar lore written by people having questionable experience or authenticity, it is refreshing to see a book by someone who has actually practiced what she is preaching for decades. Thank you, Stacey, for keeping it real.” —David Garland, founder of Pagan Awareness Network

Bestselling author Stacey Demarco reveals the alchemy of lunar science to show you how moon cycles work for magic, balance, health, and self-realization and how ancient and modern rituals will help you get the most power from those cycles.

The Enchanted Moon includes authentic meditations or spells for every one of the 28 phases of the moon, crystal suggestions for each moon phase, gardening by the moon guidelines, and a handy 15-year chart of full, dark, and new moons for easy reference. Let the beliefs of the goddesses, gods, and sacred animals of the moon guide you toward a better life.

The prime topic of this book is that each day of a lunation offers a unique energy you can tap into for your spells and manifesting - so there are "28 Moons" every cycle.

I've been moon mapping for a couple of years. I enjoy using the waxing, waning, new and full energies (recently been trying to add the "dark moon" to my practice).

The idea of starting an intention on any day is a bit odd to me. Also, I'm not sure I care enough what waxing day I do something - just that the moon is waxing. If anything, I try to align the day of the week energy.

I did enjoy a number of the meditations and Goddess rituals, though. It's also a beautiful book.

Such a beautifully presented book! This is one I kept renewing from my local library and used as a reference book through multiple moon cycles. I’ll be buying my own copy soon.
It’s easy to read and outlines theories and histories well. The meditations and crystal suggestions are lovely and definitely worth trying. It’s great paired with the authors lunar and seasonal diary too.
If you’re curious about lunar cycles from an energy, spiritual or pagan view point, this is a great book to start with or further your practice.
Just beautiful.

Gorgeous book, absolutely beautiful illustrations and silver detailing throughout. I enjoyed reading it, it was very easy to follow and the writing style made it feel as though I was having a conversation with Stacey. Not everything in it is applicable to my practice as I don't work with deities but I appreciate Stacey's intentions. There is lots of well researched and informative knowledge to be shared with this book

A beautifully written book, so much knowledge and research has gone into this. The connections she draws between moon cycles, nature and history are so fascinating, I now feel a strong sense that the moon is fundamental to our behaviours, health, moods and our relationships with others. I look forward to trying some of the spells soon too.

It was very informative about different ways to worship the Moon and incorporate it into your daily life. Would recommend it to anyone who would want to go into depth with information on the Moon.

the book itself is gorgeous, as is the writing. there are a ton of applications along with information on many aspects of the moon. i liked the inclusion of deities from many pantheons, not just the “main 5”, but i wish there were more substitutions listed, such as listing a few different deities one might invoke for a spell/ritual, or other plants with similar correspondences to the one listed. there was also the occasional formatting error, but other than that, it was great!

This is a very well written book. Stacey Demarco does a fabulous job of making learning easy and enjoyable. The book itself is also gorgeous inside and out with all of the lovely illustrations included. One of my favorite non fiction books I’ve read in the last few years. I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking to learn more in the world of witchcraft.
