This is a great book if you want to learn more about not only archetypes but the energy of some archetypes. About healing and self reflection.
This is not the first book I’ve read connecting archetypes and chakras.

One of my favourite books is Chakras and their Archetypes: uniting energy awareness and spiritual growth by Ambika Wauters
in her book her seven archetypes or the root chakra victim — the mother
the sacral chakra the martyr — the Empress/Emperor
solar plexus chakra of the servant — the warrior
the heart chakra the actor/actress — the lover
the throat chakra the silent child — the communicator
the brow chakra of the intellectual — the intuitive
the crown chakra the ego to just — the guru

In this book the message is not to look to someone else for answers.
No on else holds the key for your own self-realization. It is you who must find the answers.
All answers lie within because they are born out of your own energy.

Our soul energy is the vital spark within our being. It goes by many names: prana, chi, pneuma, mana, baraka, shakti, vital source, nagual, wakan, and of, course spirit.

The author states that in deep meditation one day he was given insight that he knew would help people understand the energy of the soul. In a moment of deep personal realization, he became aware of seven distinct energy archetypes, the names of which appeared spontaneously in his consciousness.

These archetypes provide an accessible and powerful way for everyone to implement concrete change in their lives by balancing and harnessing their soul energy.
The seventh archetypes are the
creator: builder, maker, doer
the healer: sensitive, empathic, compassionate
the warrior: confident, disciplined, protective
the lover: nurturing, caring, romantic
the artist: expressive, original, imaginative
the Explorer: curious, open-minded, courageous
the master: teaching, truth seeking introspective

You are not defined by just one or two of these energies. We possess all of them. One energy may be a do more dominant in your life. As you tune in you will notice the different shifts.
You may be more dominant in some archetypes/energies. There are positives and negatives to each one of the archetypes/energies. Finding a balance is the key.
This book can help you achieve that.

Two other book I’ve read about archetypes are: The Hero Within: six archetypes we live by Carol S. Pearson
Deals with the positives and negatives of: innocent, orphan, wanderer, warrior, martyr, magician.
It also has exercises and a test in the back of the book to identify the dominate archetypes most active in your life.

Anatomy of the Spirit: The seven stages of power and healing Caroline Myss, Ph.D.

This book not only deals with the seven chakras but also says the divine energy is inherent in our biological system, every thought that crosses our minds, every belief we nurture, every memory to which we clink translates into a positive or negative command to our bodies and spirits. She also deals with the symbolic power of the Christian sacraments such as baptism, communion, confirmation, marriage, confession, ordination, extreme unction. Which is to receive or bestow the grace to finish one’s unfinished business not just before death, but is a daily part of one’s life, thus allowing a person to love in “present time”

She also talks about the symbolic power of the tree of the Kabbalah.

Learning more about archetypes welcomes insights and awareness into your life.

Great book - gives you a lot to reflect on and to ponder what you would like to bring into your life. I liked the part where he said we need to stop trying to fix ourselves and focus on what we want in life.
