Escaping from hell was the easy part. Surviving my temporary lapse in judgment where hot, sexy men are concerned, not so much.
Born a demon with a soul has its perks, but when pushed, my fiery personality and skills will set this place ablaze. Colton is the polar opposite of my ex and that intrigues me, but his sweet demeanor may be a façade. If I’m not careful, my daring escape could lead to utter destruction, and that’s anything but desirable.
Colton
That’s it. I’ve had it. No more married women in my life. After narrowly escaping my last relationship with my life, I am officially done…. Until she walks into Omen and changes everything. Sexy, sassy, and scintillatingly hot, Willow is everything I don’t need and everything I never knew I wanted. She’s the kind of woman that could make men in the upscale club for wealthy supernaturals lose their minds… myself included.
She escaped hell, but things are quickly heating up in this smoking hot paranormal romance!
If cheating is a hardline for you then you should pass on this book as both characters do a version of it in this story.
The write up for this sounded like it would be fun, a demon coming up from hell to play with the mortals and a dragon this had all the makings of a good story. Have to say I lost interest rather quickly.
Willow is a mixture of a punching bag, wanna be tough chick, trying to be sexy, trying to appear worldly but was just mostly very immature. When she starts working at Colton’s strip club for some reason she choose “Toni the Stallion”, as her name…not sure if she realized that a stallion is a male horse, so unless she had dangly bits that name made zero sense for a female. Her inner monologue just was a bit too airhead spacey for me to really connect. Yes her husband did abuse her so I did have some empathy on her pain and how it affected her self worth, other than that I just didn’t connect with her.
Colton as a dragon didn’t seem to have many morals or scruples for that matter. Yes I was aware he had seen a married woman didn’t realize we would have to experience them almost get horizontal before her husband busted in. In the club he was a bit of a sleaze to me. I guess I have higher standards for my dragons and Colton just seemed like a bit of a dog in dragon coverings. Yes he did finally sort of man up but he still acted like an immature teenager to me.
The writing was very choppy and there were times I had to go back and reread to figure out who was speaking. Things jumped around a lot. For me there was no real cohesion and the characters stayed one-dimensional. I felt zero chemistry between them and the bad guys were so clichéd. They way they were written they were so over the top that I cringed a bit whenever they came into play.
The dialogue was so corny, immature cheesy that I started flipping pages to make it get to the end. The epilogue was so strange, I understood what it meant but it was just weird. This book needs to get more cohesion, give the characters more depth and maturity and then we might have something with a bit more meat.

Hell was better than her hell of a marriage. Willow was forced into marrying Thomas and after one two many beatings, she douses the bed with gasoline and sets it on fire, hoping Thomas will burn in his sleep. She escapes and takes a job at a club in Chicago as a stripper. After just starting a relationship with a dragon named Colton, her world is about to be rocked again. For Colton isn’t free and her husband might not be dead. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
This story is about Colton and Willow. Willow is a demon with a soul and a hot temper, having just escaped from hell. Colton had just gotten away from his last relationship with his life, yet when he sees Willow, she is everything he should avoid.
We see some old characters passing through, and meet some new ones along the way. The pacing is just right for this steamy read. Grab your copy and sit back for the entertainment!
Willow was sold to Thomas to be married but he abused her. One night she did something very drastic and left. Willow got a job at the club where Colton was head of security. They had a great night and realized that they were soulmates. They have work out quite a few things to get their happy ending! Good book!
Another story is out that deals with the hot dragons from the Omen Club. This time is is a Colton and Willow, 2 people with a bit of a past. It was a cute quick read like the rest of the series with a few new and old characters popping in fora bit. A bit steamy but entertaining.
