The Yeast Connection is enlightening, instructive and supportive of anyone who wants to get treatment for this issue. The author's tone is not only instructive, but comforting and supportive.
I enjoyed reading this book, because it teaches so much about candida, such as, what it is, how one get's it, what it feeds on, diet changes, healing recipes, patient success stories, effective conventional drug therapies, alternative therapies, and the importance of vitamins and exercise on the road to recovery from yeast infection.
Reading this book was like being at a day long conference one day and then the next day going on Dr. Crook's rounds with him, listening in on his phone calls while he confers with other doctors to verify some new information he'd heard of or being in his office while he's seeing a patient.
This book is like hearing their stories firsthand, and/or hearing Dr. Crook read some of these letters from patients. Yes, such letters are in this book.
Finally, this book is about men, women, teens and children (and surprise! even animals get candida).
