Perhaps if you have read other books from this series it would be different, but I considered the characters very weakly developed. The author uses 4 different very similar foreign names all about the same length and starting with "A". I could keep up with the main characters since they had more identifiable names, but didn't really have a good mental picture of them. The plot line was weak and predictable. Obviously some other people felt differently about this story and that was why I read it. I'm not sorry, but I am not sufficiently interested to read any more books by this author.

Egyptian artifacts found is lost tomb

Take the CIA, a CIA Contract crew, the resurrection of maps of uncovered Egyptian Kings Tomb and Steven Becker provides a wild ride of a story.

Valley and the Kings is waiting for Kings uncovered Tombs to be found. J. Edger Hoover, former FBI director, rumored to have a treasure of secret information leads to hidden files pointing the crew toward Egypt. The maps and files uncovered from a sealed room in the old FBI headquarters provides the knowledge required to find the hidden tombs.

The story moves back and forth between Egypt and the Florida Keys. The headquarters and computer room assisting the crew tracks the Team Members and then finds themselves under attack. Two Fathers emerge, one an old CIA operative and the other an Egyptian grave robber of antiquities.

Becker weaves a great story with a satisfying end. Recommended.

I picked it up by accident and figured I was at the beach I might as well read it. Yes, it’s fast paced, you don’t have to know what happened before since I’ve now discovered this is the middle of a series. I enjoyed the characters overall, nothing too deep at all. For me the little Egyptian boy was the most captivating character in the entire book.

the best novel of the 4

This book read like it was written well by a single writer. Not by a group of ghost writers. My mind didn’t wander once and the author kept me following his fantastic journey

Very good book. Fast paced and I especially enjoyed it because went to Luxor and Valley of the Kings and The Library in Alexandria, plus of course Cairo. I love it when I can travel along with his characters and know what they are seeing. Good job Steven!
