Forest Edge #1.5

Ryan's Weekend Retreat

Rate this book
The summer is drawing to a close, and Ryan misses spending time with his daddies. Everybody's so busy...and stressed out. When Daddy Eli orders Ryan and Daddy Jon to pack, Ryan is thrilled. The view from the lake house is amazing: a huge forest, a wide lake, a firepit. The view from the bed is also pretty wild. His daddies know how to spoil their little boy: with lots of love, kisses, and other assorted fun.

Ryan’s Weekend Retreat takes place immediately following
the conclusion of Hand in Hand and continues the tale of Ryan, Daddy Eli, and Daddy Jon for a few more glorious days.

Always an avid reader and colorful dreamer, it was only a matter of time before taking pen to paper, oftentimes literally. A firm believer in every song tells a story and every story has a song, I sing under my breath, tap my toes and swing my hips, much to the delight of my co-workers and friends. I freely admit that becoming a romance author is the best mid-life crisis a girl could ever have.

A quick read. A weekend away for Ryan, Daddy Eli and Daddy Jon to relax and have fun at the lake house.
And they have plenty of fun and excitement .
A follow on from Hand in Hand.

I liked Ryan's Weekend Retreat. It's a sequel to Hand in Hand. I liked Daddy Jon, Daddy Eli, and Ryan. The three travel to Daddy Eli's lake house for a weekend retreat, and many sexy times resulted. This is a glimpse into how the three people are doing in their relationship after having read Hand in Hand, which is the story of how they met and fell in love. I haven't read Hand in Hand yet. I was going to read it first before I reviewed this book, but I ran out of time. It's waiting on my kindle for me to read, so I'm going to read it next. However, the short story was really good without reading the first book, but I bet it would have been even better if I had read it first.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A nice little look in to a get away with Ryan and his Daddies, it doesn't hold back on the hot. Though it's short, we get their relationship developing in small ways to cement their bond further. And I like any chance to catch up with my first trio of the series.

Although this book says it's 1.5 in the series, I suggest reading it after book 2. There's a revelation that occurs in book 2 that is not yet explained in this book. Other than that, this was a quick and sweet read about a fluffy vacation the three guys go on.

What a treat!

This was a delightful extension of their story. I love when authors do this. Seeing Ryan, Jon, and Eli happy and their relationship growing was such a great treat.
