My lips are sealed Although I don’t know why. I cannot speak and, until I met Dean, lost in the woods and in the throes of his first shift, I spent every day alone in my ancient, broken down-shack, a pariah. I never cared about speaking before. Dean, my mate, changed all that. Through his hard work and ability to win over the pack members, he’s made both our lives so much better. I should want nothing more. I do want nothing more… But there are two new pack members my wolf is heavily interested in. Not that multiple mates is that unusual, but I never even imagined I’d have one. Why would they be interested in me? And even if they were, Dean was raised by humans and isn’t used to our ways. In fact, he seems disgusted by the thought. And...the woods are suddenly filled with strangers who all seem interested in me. Why? Rejected by Fate is the first book in a paranormal reverse harem shifter series featuring a strong, feisty female wolf shifter who has forgotten her past and cannot speak and the three male wolf shifters who all want to be her fated mate. It is a why choose werewolf romance with a slow burn buildup sure to make your toes curl. Relationships develop over the course of this supernatural series and, of course, Mazzy guarantees an HEA
Mazzy J. March is a fan of all things paranormal--shifters, vampires, witches...dragons and all the many creatures that inhabit the world beyond the ordinary. She has been plotting her Academy stories for a long time and is thrilled to finally have them releasing and ever grateful to the readers who are offering such support and helping her dreams come true.
Thought the story would have gotten better but, ugh!
When I read the title, I thought that maybe we would have gotten more of Dean's backstory and how he ended up with the 'shifter gene'. Before the events of the first novel, he had never shifted before. Instead, we treated to an endless parade of a poorly written love triangle? Anyways it seems that Jillian's wolf is interested in yet another guy besides Shane.
Dean is upset. He has every right to be. It is hinted that his previous relationship ended because his ex, had multiple partners. In the previous book, Dean had been working towards securing a future with Jillian and now Shane has uninvitingly moved in with them. Awkward, because while Jillian is all for it, Dean is disgusted by the notion.
Two things that was never really explained: a] Jillian was never supposed to mate and she did with Dean but there were no repercussions; and b] the women in the pack had multiple mates, though there was no lore or tradition to explain why it was acceptable nor were there any references to male wolves having more than one partners.
I am still confused as to why Dean so readily comes to the conclusion that his friends were 'shifters' based solely on their polyamorous relationships. Like what??
Dean decides to leave and go visit with friends so that he could learn about this relationship or lifestyle or whatever. Like seriously, Dean you were supposed to have learnt all this stuff from Jillian in the previous book!!!!
Hours after Dean leaves, Jillian invites Shane to her bed - that Dean bought. [Why the hell is this girl so messy!!!] And she is tracking a guy on the other side of the pack lands. Creek, who's also friends with Shane.
And with all this drama we weren't even given any information as to who the strangers are and their interest in Jillian or Callista as they call her.
3.5 stars - I liked the character development of this story even though I did not like all the characters. The alpha is definitely not supportive and seems exceedingly selfish and will not answer questions. I had to go get the previous story Rejected by Fate to understand what was going on in this one since I did not realize that it was a portion of a book that does not stand alone very well. It was easier to peruse the first book than try to figure out this one on it's own. This section was really about introducing mystery of where Jillian came from. The only thing that kept me reading was that I really liked her. She is doing great despite being outcast, is strong mentally and physically, and does not put up with the macho ego. Interesting story.

Jillian, who was unable to speak, never imagined that she would find love. Dean finds her and makes her his mate, getting the pack to accept her, and helping her to communicate.
But when her wolf finds another shifter interested in her, Dean is not used to multiple matings and wants Jillian to only be with him. Why are these other wolves interested in her? Will Dean’s visit to his best friend help him understand about wolves and multiple mates? Or will he be too uncomfortable to participate in a harem-type situation? Will Jillian and Shane mate because her wolf wants him for her mate regardless of Dean’s objection?
This book 2 in A Mated in Silence Series is a very well written story in the series with characters that are strong, have depth and who evolve as the story progresses. This is not a stand-alone book, but has 3 interesting and connected stories with well crafted characters. This story has action, adventure, twists/turns, and a romance that has more than 2 lovers. This book in a paranormal reverse harem shifter series. This is the second volume of Jillians story. It is a why choose werewolf romance with a slow burn buildup, which is sure to make your toes curl.

Can’t lie, I’m disappointed in Dean. Yes, it’s new to him, but damn did he go off the rails. Jillian had it pretty rough in book 2. Multiple people, and seemingly multiple groups, are looking for her and trying to take her. Her name might actually be Callisto, but we don’t know and then all the drama with Dean. She just can’t catch a break.

I like what the author was trying to go for, like awesome she found her mate and another and one needed to find himself but there is no way she would just do a quick cry and then be like fuck it ok guess we’ll wait for him. Like there was little to no reaction on her part. I hope that the next book attempts to answer all of the questions

I really enjoyed this book, I love how Dean links back to past books and the great storyline these book have. With such great characters in Jillian, Dean and Shane. We get to see more as they grow closer to protect Jillian when more men show up looking for Callista. To end the book in a sweet yet also heart breaking way between them, to leave you needing the next book to see what happens.

The second installment does not let you down. I did not see that twist coming. Amazing read but do not start unless you want to finish it in one sitting.

I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to see what will happen next for them especially with Dean. Hopefully he will find his way back to her and shane.
***SPOILERS*** The first book in this series I rated 5 stars and it's on my "favorites" shelf. While I wasn't quite so excited about this one, I still really liked it and intend to read the next one. In this book she picks up another mate and comes closer to discovering who she really is.
Fab read with plenty of action. They have a wonderful chemistry together and the storyline was great again. This author certainly knows how to pull you in.
I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind, and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading, I could not put it down until I read the last page.
