An awkward, traumatized omega and a patient alpha determined to court him properly... fate has a way of righting old wrongs.
Stolen from his mother’s arms and reported stillborn at birth, Tom spent nearly twenty-one years in structured captivity with other stolen omegas. His brothers. A dozen omegas, each with a secret superpower, who now must learn a whole new skill—how to thrive in a modern world.
Not every brother emerged from their past unscathed, and Tom had the worst of it. His key to survival was a healthy respect for rules. Now that he’s free, he’s still a little bit obsessive and a whole lot compulsive. He’s got anxiety, fear of change… and a list of plans for his future.
None of which involved finding a fated mate.
But if they had? His plans definitely wouldn’t have been to meet his dream alpha while smelling of afterbirth and the blood of an enemy killed in defense of his pregnant brother—the same brother whose child he then had to deliver… post-shift and naked.
If he’d been planning, if he’d made a list and checked it twice, Tom never could’ve designed an alpha more perfectly devoted than the delicious one fate put in front of him during one of the craziest days of his life… an alpha so patient, he insists on courting the skittish omega.
The West Coast Wolves is an mpreg series about five alphas. A small pack of bikers who spent years riding the highways and helping those in need until fate gave them each a pack to lead. This 85k full-length novel is Nick’s story. Prepare yourself for a romantic courtship, a perfect first kiss, and more feels and giggles than you can handle. But then again, this is a Susi Hawke book so what else can you expect?
Possible triggers for child abduction, trafficking both past and present, and haunting memories of past abuse that included both humiliation and the non-penetrative molestation of a teenager by a person in authority.
I'm a total fan of M/PREG Paranormal Romances, first and foremost as a reader. I'm excited to share my own omegaverse(s) with you. What's not to love about adorable Omegas and the Alpha men who love them? If I'm not writing about men sporting baby bumps, I'm definitely reading about them!
I'm a native of Las Vegas, NV, so I'm pre-wired to love everything weird ~ although I don't find any kind of love to be weird. I'm a cis woman who's been happily married to the same lovable lug for 18 years. We have a 16yr old son, well, at least I think we do? Either that, or we have a ghost that eats all our food and uses up all wifi playing xbox while screaming into a headset.
As a new author, it's been amazing to find the amount of support that I've been given from readers and my fellow authors. Feel free to message me, I love to chat with fellow readers. Am I a reader? Heck yeah! In fact, I'm never certain that I can completely trust an author who isn't a fellow bibliophile.
I will try to update here when I'm doing promotional parties & chats. I usually do those on Facebook. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, you should totally do it! I only send out NL's to announce new releases or important announcements. I also like to note in my NL what I'm currently reading along with a cover shot and the link for anyone who is interested.
I liked this one the best so far. It had a more rounded out narrative with a focus on the continued story of the stolen omegas from book two.
While I still think the unique connection between the five alphas in their biker crew should have been a bigger part of the series in general, this book felt less like a simple omegaverse romance and a bit more of an investigation focused narrative.
I really liked Tom too, his analytical mind protecting him from the trauma of his captivity but still being self aware enough to know he could find new ways to move on.
Nick was super sweet too, very much the devoted alpha of the title.
Now I'm interested to see if it'll be Devon and Sky next or if we get Tucker's story.
This is a wonderful MM/Mpreg shifter romance with a fascinating “slow-burn” undertone. It is the third book in the “West Coast Wolves” series & there are some character crossovers from the previous books but this book can be read as a standalone. The plot has good world building & there are extremely good scenes descriptions of intense situations and/or events. The well-developed characters (a traumatized male omega wolf shifter, Tom) & (a caring but determined male alpha wolf shifter, Nick) are endearing with likable personalities & in particular I was impressed at how Nick approached Tom with the utmost patience & was firmly dedicated in making him feel loved & appreciated. There is good support from the secondary characters. There is: despicable villainous villains, omega trafficking, wolf shifters, traumatized omegas, determined alphas, fated mates, devastating memories, friendship, adventure, action, mystery, drama, intrigue, suspense, humour, danger, threats, confrontations, conflict, violence, protectiveness, determination, friendship, complications, manipulations, decisions, justice, love, contentment, some steam & a delightfully conclusion. I look forward to the next book in this series with great anticipation & would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading this genre.
This book, surprisingly for an ABO book, was about courting the omega so that he could work through his doubts and trauma. Definitely an interesting story about how Nick will have a job that'll make change possible, and about how Tom will be able to understand more about his gift and what he wants to accomplish for his future.
I’ve really liked this series, but I gotta say, The Devoted Alpha may be my favorite so far, simply because of the sweetness factor.
The Devoted Alpha takes up pretty much where The Defiant Alpha left off. Actually, there’s a little bit of overlap so readers get Nick and Tom’s reaction to their first meeting as true mates. I know it’s something that readers have felt since the series began, but as much as these traumatized omegas deserved to find their true alphas, the West Coast Wolves deserved to find their true omegas just as much. They were men/wolves created to nurture and protect regardless of what their ancestors felt about second born alphas. The Devoted Alpha reinforced that feeling. No one was better suited for Tom than Nick – and he was determined to prove it – no matter how long it took.
A lot of this story was also guided by Fate. Something that hadn’t been exactly kind to either the Alphas or the Omegas in this series. Finding their true mates and a satisfying HEA didn’t necessarily make up for their troubled past, but it came a long way in healing and giving them and others hope. I think that’s what I like most about this series. That and the strong sense of family.
Despite the serious tone in The Devoted Alpha as well as the rest of the books in this series, it’s laced with the perfect amount of humor to cut through that seriousness. In the case of this book, it’s also filled with a sweetness that Tom both needs and deserves. It doesn’t take much time for Tom to come to the conclusion that Nick only wants the best for him and won’t rush him into anything he’s not ready for. It made the slow burn not only believable, but totally worth the wait.
The Devoted Alpha ended with another brother finding his true mate. I tried to hold off on reading The Groovy Alpha until I finished writing this review, but I just couldn’t wait. So… stay tuned!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of The Devoted Alpha. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Nice story. Love the family vibe, loved the slow courtship before just jumping into fated mates. Had way to much politics for me. I like some politics but chapters full is just way to much for me to read and understand, especially since I’m usually reading at 2am. I love the friends and brothers and wished they would have tapped more into the powers these omegas had. Writing was good, smexy was good, side characters where nice
I would count all of Nick J. Russo's narration's amazing, and this is no different. The actual story of babies being stolen from their parents and raised with numbers as names, in an actual barn, no less is horrifying. But to hear the stories of what happened to them was heartbreaking, especially this book. I was thrilled at how easy Nick made it for Tom to learn and grow and recover. It was very calming and warming to get into.
This fantastic, poignant, grab-you-by-the-feels, super slow burning (,in a good way), tug-at-your-heartstrings, heartbreaking yet hopeful, beautiful, raw, gripping, gritty, emotionally charged, and totally awesome addition to this amazing series hit the ground running, and never looked back. I was hooked from beginning to end, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
The Devoted Alpha West Coast Wolves, Book 3 By: Susi Hawke Narrated by: Nick J. Russo
I am loving the West Coast Wolves and I think I have a new favorite now, Nick! These alphas are second born and each have their reason why they are nomads, pack tradition states first born rules, so it is not uncommon for those after to get shunned or leave their family’s pack because their is only room for one alpha. So whether they are unwanted or just chose to leave these guys formed a bond and a brotherhood, aka The West Coast Wolves, nomad on motorcycles. That was until Matt was called to help save an Omega, he not only saved that omega but he gained a mate and a pack for each of his brothers. It was pretty much the end of their nomadic lifestyle, each wound up getting a pack of their own. This third book of the series brings us Nick’s story, he became the leader for the pack in Newberry Springs, it was a pack filled with trouble, including corruption and thieves. Working with the Territory Chief Ash Woodlawn he was going to set things right, weed out the corrupt then disband the pack giving the good people the option to move to another pack. When Ash gets a call about a shooting at Lucian’s pack in Tehachapi, Matt and Nick head over there with him. And that is where Nick finds his mate. Tom was one of the omegas who were rescued in the previous book, he and the other omegas were held captive in a barn since they were young children, they were never named only numbered and he was number 15. Each omega rescued chose their own name, Tom chose his name because he liked Tom Sawyer, one of the others took the name Sawyer. Tom is kind hearted and sweet but set in his own quirky ways and the outside world was all new to him and he was a little hesitant when faced with the prospect of a mate I thought it was great how he stuck to his guns, he knew how he was and what he wanted even warning Nick of that. Nick was also set in his ways, a rule follower and a by the book type of guy. There could not be a better match for chosen mate than these tow. Nick was patient with Tom, understood his need to take it slow and it truly pays off. I loved how everything played out in this book, from the slow burn romance to Ash’s job offer for Nick to further investigations of auctions. This story is beautiful plotted and there is never a dull moment. I highly recommend this series and I am hoping there is more to come with these amazing characters in the great world Susi Hawke created. Thank you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride, I loved every minute of it.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Nick J. Russo continues to shine like the star narrator that he is. He does an awesome job portraying these characters, I love how he takes each role and makes it his own, sounding natural and believable that role. You could hear how much heart he puts into his work as he captures all the characters emotions and projects them into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thanks you for another awesome listen🎧
I love the way the writer does a rewind to catch the reader up from the previous books of the series. Alpha Nick who started the biker gang of five second-born, displaced alphas wolves, joins the ranks of gang members Matthias Longclaw and Lucian Smith in finding his destined omega mate. Nick stumbles across Tom, an awkward and skittish omega that was rescued from the child abduction/omega trafficking group that held him and 14 others captive for about twenty years. It becomes obvious Tom was suffering from a post-traumatic stress disorder and Nick must proceed slowly before being able to affect a mating bond with him through the claim bite. It seems that Tom endured both humiliation and non-penetrative molestation by the teacher who was part of Master's omega-auctioning scheme. Being successful in fixing things at Newberry Springs pack, Nick is approached about becoming a territory chief after Ash retires. He agrees to be hired as the assistant chief to enter into the training necessary to step into the position within several years. Alpha mate Tom would have a platform for promoting those things he believes in: educational opportunities for all-pack youth and medically trained staff for every pack. Tom begins to open up about his past experiences and warms to Nick as the trust between them grows. Territory chief Ash contacts Nick and the others about an omega auction being conducted by a successful business shifter who functioning in the human world. The West Coast wolf decides they will join the enforcers to end the omega trafficking. The omega's who were rescued, including Tom, decide they will join in, each having special gifts that will benefit the operation. West Coast Wolves will jump in on it. They bash up the auction and rescue three omegas--one was a young adult in his early twenties who was up for bidding and two were babies that Nick and Tom were very happy to adopt. Narrated by the wonderful Nick J. Russo, The Devoted Alpha: West Coast Wolves Book 3 was an incredible listening experience. Susi Hawke is exceptional as ever with these beautiful wolf shifters. This book is so well-balanced with the pacing moving from one exciting event to the other. At times there are quiet moments between Nick and Tom. Then there are the funny times between the omega 'brothers', and there is plenty of action as the shifters right wrongs. The triumph of these second-born wolves as competent, caring wolf leaders is a great refrain that never gets old. Everything about the series is excellent from the eloquent writing describing the world and the conflict, and the awesome characters.
*4.5* The Devoted Alpha is another great story in the West Coast Wolves series. I love how different all of the MC's have been between the books whilst also keeping the same values on friendship, love and pack. Nick was put in charge of a pack when his friend killed their alpha and he has done his best to help them. Now he's visiting his best friend, Lucien, and hoping to take some time out. Most unexpected is finding his mate helping someone to give birth in a room containing a dead body whilst also naked. The bond is felt by both men as soon as they're able to take in what's around them and it's such a sweet moment. Tom, along with his brothers, is still figuring life out after being rescued several months previously. His meticulous list making, planning and focus on details may help him get through the day but it also has a deeper meaning to him too. Nick is so very understanding, caring and compassionate when it comes to Tom and allowing the young man to take their relationship at his own speed. Tom's comfort and feelings are Nick's main priority, especially after learning more of his history. This is a wonderful slow burn romance and I love Nick's way of just enjoying being with Tom, not needing anything more than that to be happy. Courting is just perfect for them as a couple, giving the chance to learn each other and give Tom's mind time to process everything. Along with their relationship is still the search for lost families, information for those who were looking to buy Omega's, and Nick's plans for his future now that he doesn't have a pack. Their friends and families are such a brilliant cast of characters, constantly supporting the couple through every thing that they go through, the highs and lows, and well as shining lights of the happy moments, poking fun and bringing joy to their lives. I'm in love with this series and I adore this book. Once Nick and Tom get going, There is a lot going on all at once for the characters and readers to keep track of. Definitely a recommended read and I'm hoping for more from the West Coast Wolves. I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
Well, if anyone can pull a nomad type alpha together with a list for everything type omega and somehow make it all work....it's Susi. And she does it with a flair like no one else. While the rest of us are on pins and needles wondering what is going to happen next and if everyone is going to make it and if they're going to have HEAs, etc, etc, I have a feeling Ms. Susi is giggling at the torment she knows we are going to go through.
I couldn't have picked a better mate for Nick. His life is not one of someone who just needs to settle. Yes, he's a alpha, but he's just not the pack type. It doesn't mean he doesn't want to have a family in the future, but if it's in the cards. With learning things he did as he was kicked out of his own pack at 18, his outlooks on the antiquity of how packs are run is not very high. And who could blame him. And then he meets an Omega who learns has the same outlooks he does. Funny how fated mates work huh?
But I love the way these two are together. Because of what happened in Tom's past and knowing what they all went through as a whole, Nick is just the perfect guy for all of them to be around, really. He has such a laid back, caring, yet carefree attitude about things for the most part. He listens, truly listens, he's empathetic with all the guys and it just makes him even more perfect for Tom. Because he knows how to navigate around all of them.
But Tom is just as perfect for Nick and the guys as well. Yeah, so he's a little OCD as far as planning, but it's been a blessing for everyone as it's helped as much as he gets teased about it. But because his ideas are so forward thinking, he's the perfect one to help Nick implemented the changes they are going to need to go forward.
I really loved these two and honestly don't think there could have been any one of the other brothers that could have been better for Tom than Nick. Or vice versa. And seeing who the next pair are going to be, I'm curious to see how the parents of this Omega are going to try to get out of this one. It's definitely going to be interesting.
Tom was one of the omegas rescued from the farm where he’d been held – raised to eventually be auctioned off. He’s been taught omegas were to serve alphas. He’d been beaten down – emotionally if not physically. Suddenly he’s free, and all the rules are gone. He’s free to pick his own name. Chart his own path. Follow the learning that will supplement his innate understanding of healing. He delivered a baby in the last book and his story in this book begins with him – naked after just having executed such a miracle. He’s a mess but then he scents his fated mate.
Not the most auspicious beginning.
Nick, said alpha, is undaunted. He’s been running with his group of wayward alphas in a motorcycle club up and down the West Coast of California. One by one, those alphas – many second born sons – are finding their calling. Nick’s purpose has been to help a community, but he’s not drawn to the kind of leadership necessary to rule a pack. Then an opportunity lands in his lap and he suddenly has a purpose in life. Well, a purpose beyond wooing his fated mate. Nick recognizes Tom’s need for order. He reacts with kindness and understanding for the obsessive-compulsive tendencies. He also perceives Tom’s lack of trust in alphas – especially when it comes to sexuality. Nick never pushes, and eventually Tom reveals what happened to him as a teenager.
Heartbreaking.
But a bond forms. Then they are called upon to help, and boy do they get involved. Their entire lives change in the blink of an eye – for the better. Suddenly they have the family they both crave.
These are very dark books touching tough topics, but they are also books about second chances, redemption, and finding a way to be happy despite your upbringing. And Nick J. Russo narrates these stories brilliantly and I’m so glad he’s part of the project. Two more stories to go. I can’t wait.
I really did enjoy this book but I also struggled with it a bit. I’m not sure how much of that was me and how much of it was the book. Perhaps it was a bit of both. In any case, I paused several times, for more than a few days, while reading this one but I can’t say exactly why. That’s why I think it may have been me more than the book.
This is a series that I really think you need to read in order because the books are connected by what happens to the various characters. You meet at least one half of each main couple in book one and then the other books feature those characters. The Devoted Alpha is about omega Tom and alpha Nick. I think one of the reasons I struggled reading this was that it was almost too sweet for me.
Nick is very aware that some things can trigger Tom and cause him to panic. Getting too hot and heavy with sexy time is one of them. He has no problem going as slow as Tom needs to before they claim each other as mates so this is a pretty slow burn story.
There’s a lot happening in this book. Nick gets an unexpected job offer and all of the West Coast alphas and omegas continue to look for the families the omega were stolen from. There’s a fair amount of violence and violent thoughts happening in various parts of the story but I was happy to see the bad guys get what they deserved.
I’m invested enough in this series to want to continue reading it but I think I really might have enjoyed this more if it were an audiobook that I could have listened to.
An advanced copy of this book was provided to me at my request but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.
The Devoted Alpha is book 3 in the West Coast Wolves series, and while it could technically be read as a standalone, for maximum enjoyment I suggest reading the series in order.
This book follows Nick and Tom, but most of all, it gives us an in-depth view of past events, dealing with some loose ends from the first two books. The first book dealt more with the actual West Coast Alphas, the second with a group of kidnapped Omegas who were rescued from an evil man who wanted to auction them off and this one deals with the aftermath of said rescue. It was an interesting storyline, interspersed with a slow-burn romance.
Nick is so patient and as the title says, 'devoted' to his Omega, Tom. He's sweet and loving and determined to give Tom all the time he needs before claiming him. Tom is smart and very detail-oriented and went through some traumatic events that marked him. Learning to trust Nick is easy, but overcoming his issues isn't.
It was lovely seeing Tom open slowly to Nick. They had great chemistry and I loved the progression of their relationship, the dates, the conversations, and the cuddling until Tom was finally ready to accept Nick's bite.
I found this book enjoyable and entertaining and I'm very curious about whose story we'll get next. Recommendable!
*** Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie for my reading pleasure, a review wasn't a requirement. ***
When Nick finally gets a chance to see his Alpha buddies, he runs into a room full of chaos and amid all that he finds someone that will change his life. Thom is just as surprised when he meets Nick but the attraction that they feel is immediate and not to be denied. The two must not only figure out their relationship but must also figure out where their own lives will go from here.
I enjoyed Nick and Tom’s story. It is a sweet and endearing read. The two men are a perfect match. Nick is an understanding man and Tom is stronger than he appears. It was nice to see the way Tom begins to blossom and step up to any challenges with Nick by his side. Not only do we get to see the relationship develop between the two but also the changes that happen in each man’s life. It was nice to see the strength and the closeness of all the men both the Alphas and the omegas. They all come together and always take care of those that they love and care for. Nick and Tom’s story is a beautiful adventure that shows the strength of love and what it can do.
Courting his Omega The third book in this wonderful series was as enjoyable as the first two. Both the Alpha and Omega seemed made for each other. Thorough, organized, trying to stay ahead of responsibilities or problems. Researching to find the best answers. A chance to reunite with the other WCW Alphas and spend time with his beautiful uncertain / hesitant Omega mate. Slow burn so unusual for fated mates - an actual courtship.
The promise of a new job requires a decision that the Alpha won't make without his mate's approval. Sheltered, with strict rules, and severe discipline the Omega finds it hard to go with his heart. Until violent clashes with child (Omega) traffickers who were engaging in behavior similar to what landed he and his 13 brothers in the horrible situation of being raised since infancy to be auctioned off to the highest Alpha bidder through a secret criminal organization.
Sometimes when you rescue someone else you end up rescuing yourself, opening your heart and mind to a new better life.
The storyline is perfectly pleasant, but I just don't care. Alpha Nick may be a bit growly and possessive about his fated mate, but other than that, he's a milquetoast character. He's almost too pleasant. I want my Alphas to be more...alpha. And Omega Tom is too wrapped up in his compulsion for plans and list-making, all marinated in a tentativeness borne of PTSD for me to do anything but gripe to myself that the guy has GOT to look up the word 'spontenaeity' and give it a test drive. He's so bland he could make vanilla seem spicy. Yes, I should probably be a better person and have some patience with the guy, but I find I really don't wanna. We're not meant to like everyone in the world, and I'm certainly not meant to like every book character I come across, so I'll bid adieu to these two before I have more uncharitable thoughts about forcing Tom to deal with a day without one of his damned lists. ✌️
I am in love with the West Coast Wolves series! My old friends welcomed me back into their lives. This continues the saga with Nick & Tom's story. The amazing omegas with their super-powers... now known as the West Coast Omegas, the West Coast Wolves, the trafficking ring, more rescued omegas, an unusual birth, fated mates, new jobs, and blended packs are just some of the things this book offers. Ooh, and a patient alpha, and a ready-made family. You will love this book! The story doesn't end here, although there is HEA. The next book is set up. I can't wait to read it. Do yourself a favor... read the previous books in order. You will be glad you did. This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.
This is book 3 in the West Coast Wolves series and it may be my favorite yet. While it is a story of fated mates and ‘insta-love’, it’s also a story of an alpha that knows his mate deserves to be ‘courted’ first. Nick may be the most intuitive alpha wolf I’ve ever seen and I loved seeing his wooing of Tom. While they are learning about each other and falling in love, they must deal with job offers, where to live and how to merge their lives. This book brings in more antagonists for the WCW and their packs to deal with while they find their families, old and new. I’m really enjoying getting to know all of them and seeing them help everyone they can. As this series continues, the expansion of plots, seeing how they can go in different directions and still stay connected, is enjoyable and, honestly, what I’ve come to expect from Suzi Hawke. I’m already excited for the next!
This is a paranormal shifter mpreg romance, the third in a series and must be read in order. God, this one really packed a punch to the allergies! It jumps off rewinding from the previous book by starting from the POV of Fifteen at the moment something rather dramatic is happening (I don’t want to ruin the previous book if you haven’t read it). It continues to overlap the last few chapters from different POV’s with more details and it was brilliantly written like this! The romance is actually a slow burn; it’s so gorgeous how the MC’s are together! I liked the first two books, gave them 4, but this one will stick with me for a very long time. It’s so much more complicated and vulnerable.
Nick J Russo did an amazing job with the narration, like usual. But this book yes could be kinda read as a standalone, that is what i did, but i think if i started on book one, i would have enjoyed this book more.
there were a lot of just told to us parts, like the courting, i would have enjoyed seeing Tom and Nick with all their cute moments. Also idk i felt like there was very surface level depth with these two MC's... again might be because i didn't read book's one or two.. so could be a me thing haha
overall a typical sweet Susi Hawke read, but i would say read this as part of a series not as a standalone to really get connected with the whole world and brothers/found family lol
I think this books is even better that WCW 1 and 2 and that's saying something, because both of them are great!!
I love the patience Nick has with Tom. He gets to "court" Tom. It's not the usual, I am your mate, mate immediately and then move in together for life that is usual in most shifter series. Not that that is wrong, but Nick earns Tom's trust and love the hard way, showing him firsthand.
So many things happen in this book. I can't even begin. Both sets of brothers play a role. I don't want to give away spoilers, but you MUST read this one. What starts out slow, ends with sooooo much more. I can't wait to see what comes next!!
When you're dealing with a traumatized Omega and it serves Alpha Nick quite well after scenting Omega Tom. Tom was kidnapped as a baby from his family and basically raised in a commune with other omegas being raised to sell to the highest Alpha bidder. This is a wonderful version, where instead of catching each others scent and tumbling into bed right away the main characters get to know one another and it makes for a sweet and caring story as Nick shows Tom the wonders of simply putting your feet in the sand and ocean. The lead up to the end is brilliant, sorry I won't give away the entire story.
Tom and Nick story was quite interesting and intriguing. I was happy to see another brother finding his happiness. I loved the patience and dedication with which Nick approached Tom in making him feel loved, valued and an equal. They are a sweet heart-warming couple that succeeded to get over all the hardships in their way and to support each other in their times of need. I loved the way they interacted with the other characters, the way they made new bonds and their strong sense of justice in delivering punishments, and in helping those in dire need of protection and love. I really enjoyed the read and I'm looking forward to see what happens next with our beloved characters.
Nick J Russo did an amazing job. I loved how I could tell the difference between each character and he was consistent with the different voices. I really enjoy listening to his narrations.
This story was a little emotional and pulled at my heartstrings. Nick was an amazing Alpha… patient, caring, and understanding. I felt so bad for Tom and his brothers, but getting to know that they slowly grew stronger was all worth it. I’m so glad Tom got a happy ending with a loving Alpha.
I haven’t read the other books in this series, but I do want to read them now as I am eager to know more about these characters.
Slow and steady with lots of hugs and understanding. This is how alpha Nick knows how to overcome omega Tom's PTSD trauma from the only hellish upbringing Tom and his brothers-in-arms have known. It is a wonderful portrayal of how any decent alpha worth his weight in loving gold should and did treat his fated omega. As with the other two books in this series I had a good time reading this and enjoyed every word of Ms. Hawke's writing. This was an ARC I received in exchange for my willing, honest, and voluntary review.
I’m absolutely taken by this series and it’s characters. This is the third book of the West Coast Wolves series featuring Nick an alpha from WCW and Tom an omega rescued from captivity along with his “brothers”. Tom and Nick make a perfect team and I loved how their relationship and bond built and grew. It’s a very sweet story with lots of surprises along the way. If you like alpha/ omega books you can never go wrong with a Susi Hawke book!
I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.
I really have been enjoying this series of books. The main story arc is really interesting and the individual romances are so much fun to read. I especially like the fact that you see characters from other books in each book unlike in some series where they concentrate only on the couple involved. Aside from the romance this series also has a lot to say about how people are treated in society and about issues like people trafficking. All in all a joy to read. Can’t wait to read more about this group.
