This book has a great storyline love, heartache, loss and chance. Tyler has been after Maddy and thinks he is in love with her. She keeps stringing him along. He has a one night stand with Mallory after drinking too much and calls out Maddie's name. Mallory knows Tyler has feelings for someone else, but their are repercussions from their one night stand. She decides to move away and have this baby on her own. Sam is Mallory's best friend wrapped up dealing with her own relationship issues. After Mallory passes away she leaves Sam to handle letting Tyler know about the baby and requests her to be in her life too. Sam and Tyler have to navigate all of their emotions and raising a baby together.
It is a great storyline but becomes a repetitive as each character retells their side of the story which is unnecessary and makes for difficult reading.

Very cute story! It starts with Mallory and Tyler having a chance encounter with an oops pregnancy! But Tyler is so hung up on this other girl that he can't see what is in front of him and doesn't remember it either.
Mallory's best friend Sam steps in when an unforeseen incident happens. Comes to find out that her and Tyler have some chemistry of there own but he's still hung up on this other girl.

This story is super cute and a bit sad. There was some redundant areas when switching POV but overall those were easy to skip over, not sure if it was my download or not that some areas were just like copied or weird formatting. Either way, it was easy to catch and skip over for me.

Loved the story, this is the 2nd or 3rd book by RS that I have read. Would definitely read more.

Tyler & Sam +____ _____

The storyline is 4.5 stars, however, the POV is repetitive as well a conflict I couldn't accept.

It was emotionally filled early on and I so wanted them to find each other and consider one character I wanted out of the way in any way possible. His bestie is the best and I hope there is a book for him. He is a riot but such a good guy.

Even with my concerns I had to finish to find out the ending. With a little good editing, this could easily be a 5-star book. By the way, the cover grabbed me and was one of the main reasons I took the book. I do recommend it to accidental baby fans.

Taking Chances

A chance encounter ends up with a baby. Tyler is so hung up on a girl that really is using him and doesn’t see anyone else in front of him. After Mallory dies and gives instructions to her friend Sam to be sure to tell
Tyler he is the dad they end up sleeping together and also ends up pregnant. Again he’s still hung up on this other girl but doesn’t see he is even though his best friend tries to tell him. Will he ever see the light and make right by both of his kids?

Wow!! This book was a rollercoaster ride of emotions.
Talk about a book that rips your heart out, tears it to pieces, stomps on it a bunch of times all while you are holding back tears and your breath to see what will happen next.
The love, heartache, loss, feelings of betrayal and most importantly the loyalty and bond of friendships. This book covered every feeling you could possibly have and most definitely more.

I highly recommend it, but will state that it does have some triggers, so be mindful of that when choosing this book.

This book is filled with so many raw emotions, loss, heartache, and love. Tyler ends up having a chance encounter with Mallory who gets pregnant, but she dies and gives Sam her friend instructions to tell Tyler that he is the dad. Tyler and Sam end up sleeping together and she ends up pregnant. The whole time this is happening Tyler is stuck on a girl who is using him and doesn’t see what he could have with the person in front of him. Many parts of the book were repeated because of her and then point of view. Overall a great story, love this author.

Mattie has a one night stand with Tyler then finds out she's pregnant.When she goes to tell Tyler she sees him with Maddie the woman who's name he called her after they had sex.So she leaves town an takes a job in another state.Her friend is hurt that she left so quickly. there are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted until the very last page an leave you begging for more.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talented author.

So I don’t know what I was expected when I reread this book. I couldn’t put it down. I love books from R.S. James. This book doesn’t disappoint. What Ms. James gives us is a story about that happens when a one night stand happens and truly what comes of it is both a lot and life changing. While there were times I was seeing the same scene two but that was due tk the way the story was told. We were able to see when story from both their points of view. I really enjoy this book.

so much promise.

This is the first book I’ve read by R.S. James and it was good. BUT it was hard to keep up with. Some parts didn’t make sense and some I felt were totally unnecessary and kinda of got bored of it half way through. Also when it switches POVs it overlaps so much I found myself skipping pages. But I loved the story line and could see it getting better with a few changes.

New author to me

I found the story a little difficult with the first main character getting pregnant then dying but hey, best friend will step up, drop everything and raise your daughter ! I found getting the same scene from both perspectives one after the other a few times a bit repetitive but it does give both sides of the story.
