On her hands and knees, Nikki moved to the other side of the body. She couldn’t stop her fingers from trembling as she brushed the dark hair off the victim’s face. She couldn’t look away. “I know her....”
When Special Agent Nikki Hunt is called to the Boundary Waters near Stillwater, Minnesota, it’s not just the cold that shocks her to her core: the body of a young woman has been found frozen beside a remote lake. Nikki is devastated to see the victim is her childhood friend Annmarie, and she recognizes the velvet ribbon tied in her hair as the hallmark of a serial killer who she has been hunting for years.
Desperate for justice, Nikki throws herself into the case. But she is shaken by what she finds at Annmarie’s home: a dead-bolt on her front door and a map in the spare room, with the locations of murdered women circled in thick, red marker. Did Annmarie know she was next? Then Nikki finds out that the killer has left a clue in Annmarie’s bedroom: a photo of Nikki’s mother that no one has ever seen. Has the murderer at large been in Nikki’s life since she was a child?

EXCERPT: 'There's something here.' Still crouched next to the truck, Miller snapped on a latex glove and reached behind the front driver's side tire. He held up a business card. 'Annmarie Mason, Network Engineer at VP-Cloud. Her cell and a PO Box are listed.' He turned the card over, and Nikki could tell by his shocked eyes that something important was on the back.
'What is it?' she asked.
'If found, call FBI Special Agent Nikki Hunt' - your office number is on here.'
Wordlessly, Nikki put on a glove, and Miller placed the card in her hand. She immediately recognized the neat cursive she'd always envied. 'Oh Annmarie,' Nikki whispered. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. 'What did you get yourself into?'

Nikki soon realizes that the key to unlocking this case is in her own family, but digging up the past could put her own daughter in danger. She has spent her whole life protecting the ones she loves, but to find this killer Nikki might have to risk everything…
MY THOUGHTS: I loved Stacy Green's Lucy Kendall series, and although it has taken me a little longer to warm to Nikki Hunt, I really found my footing with this series in Lost Angels.
I had far more trouble liking Nikki than I did Lucy. I am still not sure that I actually like Nikki much. Not that that's necessary for me to like the book, obviously, but . . . just saying. She comes across as kind of 'cold', despite her obvious love for her daughter, Lacey, who is one cool kid, and absolutely my favourite character. This could be because Nikki is very good at compartmentalising her life. But she makes decisions that I simply do not understand, often just handing Lacey over to whomever is available. It's job first, everything else second for Nikki.
Now that I have had my rant . . . Nikki has been trying to catch this killer for 5 years, but now it's become personal. The killer is taunting her, killing first her high school best friend, then abducting the sister of one of his first victims.
This is high octane stuff. It's gripping, and tense. I had absolutely no idea where the story was headed, and was giving my 'little grey cells' plenty of exercise trying to figure out who the killer was.
My only criticism of the story was that, despite the strong personal connections, Nikki was allowed to remain on the case when, really, she should have been stood down, especially once it became obvious that her family was in danger.
A good, solid read. I do recommend that this series be read in order, otherwise a lot of character development, family relationships, and references to past incidents won't be completely understood.

"In three words I can sum up everything I learned about life: it goes on." - Robert Frost
The Nikki Hunt series is still going on and if you haven't started it yet - get to it! Stacy Green hooked me from page one of The Girls in the Snow and I am still hooked!
Special Agent Nikki Hunt is called out to the Boundary Waters near Stillwater, Minnesota, where a woman's body has been found. All the bells and whistles go off for Nikki. The frozen body has a velvet ribbon tied in her hair - the hallmark of a serial killer (Frost) she has been hunting for years. What is even more shocking is that the victim is her childhood friend, Annmarie.
She knows she is too close to this, but she can't step down. Nikki has been hunting Frost for years. She is getting closer - she can feel it. As she further investigates Annmarie's killer, she is shocked at what she finds in Annmarie's apartment. Did Annmarie know her killer? Did she get too close? Then there is the photo Frost leaves in Annmarie's apartment which leaves Nikki reeling. Does she know Frost? Has the killer been in her life all along? Who is this sinister killer and why does he have that photo? What ties does he have to Nikki's family?
Hang on to your hats folks because this one is a doozy. Nikki has been hunting this killer for a long time, things are heating up, and as she gets closer so does the killer! This one kept me on my toes on the edge of my seat, desperately wanting more!!!!
Can this be read as a stand-alone? Yes, but don't - just don't! Go back to the beginning, get to know the characters, because this one is where things get real, and they get real fast. There is a lot at stake and emotions will be all over the place. Mine certainly were! Whew!
Another fast-paced. Heart pounding, gripping page turner by Green! She delivered and I can't wait to read the next book in the series! Seriously, this series is incredible and quickly became a favorite!
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All the thoughts and opinions are my own.
As the small plane flew over the ice toward Boundary Waters near Stillwater, Minnesota, Special Agent Nikki Hunt had no idea her life was about to change dramatically. Her heartbreak when the frozen body turned out to be Nikki’s best friend from her childhood, almost outweighed her shock at seeing the signature clues to the killer named Frost whom Nikki had been pursuing for years. Burying her grief to focus on the case, both Courtney and Liam had her back and concentrated on doing everything they could to help Nikki find this vicious killer.
As the investigation deepened, the team discovered another young woman had gone missing. She was the sister of Frost’s first victim and as Nikki saw the slight deviation from his usual manner of killing, her suspicions escalated. Was Frost somehow connected to her own family? Surely not! But when Nikki started to feel unsafe both for Lacey, her daughter, and those others she loved, Nikki knew her time was rapidly running out. She needed to bring down Frost once and for all…
Lost Angels is the 3rd in the Nikki Hunt series by Stacy Green, and wow! What a chilling thriller! From the first page to the last, the action was all ‘go’ and the FBI team and those helping out had very little sleep. Nikki is a strong, empathetic character and her FBI partner, Liam, is focused, intent and willing to do anything in his power. Courtney is a good friend and support to Nikki, also doing all she can. I’m thoroughly enjoying this series and recommend Lost Angels highly.
With thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my digital ARC to read in exchange for an honest review.
This is the third Nikki Hunt book by the author. Nikki and her FBI colleagues - partner Liam Wilson and forensic specialist Courtney Hart are called to the scene of a body at Boundary Waters near Stillwater, Minnesota. The body looks like it could have been the work the killer known as Frost who Nikki has been chasing for 5 years. But then again, there are some differences. The big shock though for Nikki is that she recognises the victim, Annmarie Mason was her childhood best friend!
Technically Nikki shouldn’t even be working this case as she knows the victim but - fiction! The more the team looks into this murder, the more dread Nikki feels. Annmarie’s office looks like a police incident room. It looks like she, too, has been following the Frost case. Was she onto something? Is that why she was killed? Then, the sister of the first victim (from 5 years ago) disappears and now Nikki is convinced this the work of Frost and they work desperately to find the missing girl before it is too late. Then Nikki finds a photo from her own mother’s funeral on her second visit to Annmarie’s apartment, one that wasn’t there before, she knows this case is much closer to home than she had thought and the cracks in her armour are starting to show.
Nikki really struggles as everything brings back thoughts of when her parents were murdered 20 years ago. And now she wonders if she knows Frost somehow. There is also a brewing tragedy involving her family which I won’t describe. Suffice it to say, this book is full on, suspenseful and pretty sad. I hope we see Nikki again in another thriller with her wonderful FBI team and I hope her personal life settles down at last. Thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for my free ARC which I reviewed voluntarily and honestly.
the setup… FBI Special Agent Nikki Hunt has been searching for the serial killer known as Frost for years and knows everything about his methods. When she’s called to the murder scene at the Boundary Waters near Stillwater, Minnesota, she quickly recognizes that the woman is his latest victim, wearing the signature red velvet ribbon in her hair. But there was more…it’s the body of someone she knows, her childhood friend Annmarie Mason.
the heart of the story… It’s personal and Nikki is shaken to her core. As she looks into Annmarie’s life, she discovers that the woman has been fixated on her personal security for years and has her own wall tracking Frost. It got eerie as Nikki’s old memories began to surface and made her consider whether she’s Frost’s focus.
the narration… Kate Handford has become a favorite and her storytelling skills are wonderful.
the bottom line… I was looking forward to when Frost would become the singular focus since he was in the background of the prior books. It didn’t disappoint as the procedurals were strong and the clues puzzling. But when it looked like it was personal to Nikki, I felt strongly that she should step back and consult instead of continuing to lead the investigation. No matter, I was still glued to the story as it got more sinister and dangerous. I was stunned by the exciting conclusion. Nothing predictable about this series and I’m even more interested in what’s next.
FBI Special Agent Nikki Hunt has been chasing a serial killer known as "Frost" for several years. When his latest victim is found lying in the snow by a frozen lake, Nikki is shocked. It's her high school friend Ann Marie Mason. Nikki hasn't talked to Ann Marie since she finished high school. How did Frost find this woman? Did he target her because she knew Nikki? As Nikki and her team investigate, they find a picture that was left by Frost. It's a picture of Nikki's mother. Is Frost someone from Nikki's past?
This was a solid mystery, but I guessed the connection between Nikki and Frost very early in the story. There were a couple twists in the story that came as a surprise to me. One thing I didn't like about this story was the rushed ending. It felt like the author met her needed page count, so she wrapped up the story in one chapter. I still have a question or two that I don't think was addressed. My rating: 4 Stars.
Warning: devastating Character death, and I'm not talking about the one in the blurb.
Also, we managed to make it to book three before the overprotective male BS reared its ugly and sexist head. I gotta wonder if her underlings would be pulling this crap if the boss was Nicholas rather than Nikki. Add to that all of the "I'm lucky the person acting shittily toward me is willing to put up with terrible little me" self-loathing and you've got yet one more female led police procedural with potential taking a nose dive because of the author's inability to write confident, well-adjusted women who know how to remain in control of themselves and of the situations they must navigate.
Oh, and please, pretty please quit with the "it's a major issue that you are so obsessed with stopping killers and saving lives that you can't take a second to be weak and useless as a cop" concern. That, and the "you don't lead, eat or sleep like we think you should so we'll pressure you to relinquish your professional responsibilities " guilt-tripping is why an otherwise five-star book lost points. Green. You were doing sooooo well. :(
When I saw Stacy Green’s Lost Angels offered by NetGalley, I just had to request it! It’s the third book in her newest series featuring FBI Agent Nikki Hunt. I’d like to thank NetGalley, Bookouture, and Ms. Green for providing me with an ARC of this thriller in return for my unbiased review. My thoughts and opinions are my own.
For previous readers of this series, you know about the serial killer known as Frost. For those who have not read the first two books, I would suggest you do that before diving into this book, as there are references to the killer’s M.O., previous victims, as well as the good guys’ personalities and background.
Lost Angels begins with the Prologue. Hint, hint. Then comes the actual murder scene, which is set in the Boundary Waters in northern Minnesota. I could barely imagine Nikki’s shock and grief when it hit her. The victim was her former childhood best friend. Although she has some doubts, there are enough clues to tell her that this is indeed the work of the killer she’s been hunting for all these years.
Naturally, she’ll step aside and let her partner, Liam, take the reins. Nope. She’s the boss. She knows this case intimately, and she has the inside track. She promises to relinquish control if she becomes too emotionally involved. Ahem. Yeah, right. Little does she know how close to home this case will get.
Stacy Green does a fabulous job piling layer upon layer of events and clues and crises after another. It’s like a snowfall coated with ice followed by melting and refreezing, topped with more snow, followed by a major blizzard! Wow! This Frost fellow does NOT give up. Neither does Nikki.
I won’t repeat what you can read in the blurb, but there is plenty of white-knuckle action near the end, including, I’m afraid, a not entirely happy ending.
Stacy Green, now that the storm is over, I hope you will continue to bring us more of Nikki Hunt!
Lost Angels by Stacy Green is the third in the FBI Agent Nikki Hunt series.
First, let me thank NetGalley, the publisher Bookouture, and of course the author, for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
Series Background: (Warning – May contain spoilers from previous books) Nikki Hunt is an FBI Agent whose parents were murdered when she was young. She helped put away Mark Todd for their murder, but 20 years later, discovered he was innocent, and fought for his release. She is now dating Rory, Mark's younger brother. Family dynamics are awkward. She has a young daughter (Lacey), and an ex-husband (Tyler) who still loves her. Nikki heads the BAU unit based out of St. Paul Minnesota. Her team consists of Crime Scene Analyst Courtney Hart and Agent Liam Wilson.
Synopsis: (No major reveals, but if concerned, skip to My Opinions) Nikki has been tracking a serial killer that they call "Frost" for over 5 years. There have been 5 dead bodies. Now, a 6th body has been found that appears to be Frost's handiwork. Unfortunately, Nikki knows the victim. Annmarie had been a childhood friend.
Nikki pores her heart into the case, while her team-members try to make sure she doesn't jeopardize their hopes of nailing this killer. As Nikki continues to investigate, she finds a photo of her own mother in Annmarie's home, one that had not been there the day before when the team searched it. Nikki starts to realize that this killer is part of her own past. She will have to look into her own family history to find Frost, before he finds her, or those she loves.
My Opinions: WOW. Okay, I was impressed with the first two books, but this one topped those.
This book showed Nikki that perhaps her pride was holding her back, which I think makes her character more endearing, more life-like.
The characters in these books have depth. Their actions make me care about them. I simply love the relationships between Nikki and her daughter, Nikki and Rory, Nikki and her team. I really like Caitlin, who has become one of the team. Now, I'm not usually a fan of children in books, but Lacey is wonderful.
The plot was compelling, and although I had an idea about the motive (which proved correct), it was a great journey.
I only found one problem, and that was with reference to former Sheriff Hardin. First it read that he fell and broke his hip, but when Nikki visited, his knee was bandaged, and that's what she asked about. Hopefully the editors will correct that before it is published.
This book was another fast and easy read in the series, and I didn't want to put it down.
Looking forward to the next book in this series!

My thanks to Bookoutre, Stacy Green and Netgalley. For some odd reason I've ignored Stacy Greens previous books. That is about to change! I loved this story! I loved that I didn't know who the guilty, murderous son of a gun was! Best of all were the characters and the backstory. I plan on reading more.
The latest installment in the Agent Nikki Hunt series is, just like the other books, downright addictive. You will be glued to every page. My heart was in my throat throughout. Green does a masterful job of keeping the dramatic reveals coming till the very end of the book. Fantastic, riveting, suspenseful, and expertly written, you will not want to miss this one! Or any of the books in this compelling series!
What a flippin’ wild ride. This book was absolutely fantastic. From start to finish, this was a fast & furious read. I can’t wait for more, and to see what direction she takes the series. Nikki Hunt is a serious bad a$$.
LOST ANGELS is the third book in the Nikki Hunt series, a gripping crime thriller set in Stillwater, Minnesota by best-selling author Stacy Green. This is the review of Lost Angels.
The books in the Nikki Hunt Series include: The Girls in The Snow (Book 1) One Perfect Grave (Book 2) Lost Angels (Book 3) The Girl In The Ground (Book 4)
While this book can be read as a standalone, as the author does a great job in supplying background information, I would recommend you read the series in order to get a better appreciation of the growth of the characters. It is such a great series, so sit back and enjoy!
FBI Special Agent and criminal profiler Nikki Hunt heads up the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) that deals with crimes in the jurisdictions of Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
When Special Agent Nikki Hunt is called to the Boundary Waters near Stillwater, Minnesota, and she finds the body of a young woman has been found frozen beside a remote lake. Nikki is shocked to see the victim is her childhood friend Annmarie, and she recognizes the velvet ribbon tied in her hair as the hallmark of a serial killer, Frost who she has been hunting for years.
Nikki assigns herself to the case. But she is upset by what she finds at Annmarie’s home: a dead-bolt on her front door and a map in the spare room, with the locations of murdered women circled in thick, red marker. Did Annmarie know she was next? Then Nikki finds out that the killer has left a clue in Annmarie’s bedroom: a photo of Nikki’s mother that no one has ever seen. Has the murderer at large been in Nikki’s life since she was a child?
Nikki soon realizes that the key to unlocking this case is in her own family, but digging up the past could put her own daughter in danger.
Lost Angels is a fast-paced crime thriller with a strong protagonist and engaging characters. Lots of twists and turns with a shocking conclusion. Great series that will appeal to a wide audience. Highly recommended.

FBI Agent Nikki Hunt is tracking the bodies of a serial killer known as Frost. After finding his most recent murder: childhood best friend Annmarie, Nikki begins to realise just how intimately connected these killing seem with her own past and begins to wonder if Frost is known to her after all.
Well, one positive thing I will say about this book is that the pace is supremely fast, in fact I read this book in around four hours total; the speed of my eyes reflecting the pace.
The author sure knows how to put the reader on the edge of their seat. I cannot fault the writing, or the plot. Both were well thought out, well-cultured, and made sense.
But I can fault the main character. This is the third book in the Nikki Hunt series so I expected some substance, however, in this case I felt irritated by Nikki's shortcomings: the connections I felt she could have made much sooner, and her decisions that felt like it put everyone around her at risk. I suppose what I'm trying to say is she did not feel like a seasoned FBI Agent to me, and it left me disappointed and craving some grit.
Please do not let my frustrations put you off, it is always a subjective matter on whether the reader will connect with the protagonist. In this case, it did not happen for me.
Thank you to Bookouture and NetGalley for an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Book three in the Nikki Hunt series. This time Nikki is called to the crime scene near a lake where the victim is found frozen. So, Frost, we all knew that. But what is surprising is that Nikki recognizes the victim:is is her childhood friend Annmarie. Why did Frost target her? Was it a personal message for Nikki? I will say right from the start:most of this plot was unrealistic. Nikki should not even be investigating the case because of her relationship with the victim and because it's pretty obvious from the beginning that everything Frost does revolves around Nikki. Like,in a real world she would be suspended and investigated for proper measure. But this is fiction, so she gets to investigate. But also the plot itself wasn't very likely, it's just a bit soap opera ish. Now, that being said, I freaking loved this book! Couldn't put it done, did not care about how unrealistic it really is. The pacing, the suspense-it was so well done. At one point Frost leaves something very personal for Nikki to find and from that I just had to keep reading until the very end. Also, I like how the whole frost thing was resolved in book 3,that it wasn't dragged out for longer. Thank you to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Lost Angels is an action-packed, adrenaline-fueled, roller coaster ride that will have you holding fast to your seat until the very last page. Once again our heroine Special Agent Nikki Hunt comes up against the diabolical serial killer nicknamed Frost. Except now he seems to be moving in closer to her home and family. His latest victim is her childhood best friend Ann Marie. And while she is investigating, the clues suggest that Frost knows something about her family's secret past. Is Nikki his ultimate target or does he simply like playing cat and mouse with her? What is his connection to Nikki and Stillwater? Will Nikki find Frost before he adds to his body count? Who is next on his list?
Although Lost Angels is the third book in the Nikki Hunt series I feel that new readers will get sucked right into the plot. There is an advantage to reading the other books though in that you have a better understanding of the dynamics between the characters that will allow you to see why Nikki was hesitant to react under different circumstances. Yes, her pride did get in the way but so did her regret over past errors. Don't get me wrong - Nikki Hunt is tough as steel. But Stacy Green reminds us that she is human too. Love her character and her team. I've gotten to the point where I jump as soon as I see books in this series. Looking forward to the next installment.
I have read the previous two books in the series, but I have to admit that this book was definitely my favourite!
The plot is entertaining, engrossing and compulsive and I read it in one sitting, desperate to know what was coming next. The ending had me on the edge of my seat, with a killer I did not see coming!
Lost angels is book three in the agent Nikki hunt series, if you haven’t read books one and two I highly recommend as a they are amazing and being it will really help you understand the premise of book three.
Nikki hunt and her team are called out to a crime scene of a dead lady. They have been called out because she has a the hallmarks of the serial killer she’s been Following. When she gets there she realises that she knows the victim not only does she know her the victim is her childhood best friend Emily.
I find this to be really exciting fast paced book as per usual the narrative was amazing and easy to follow but also leaving you on tender hooks as you go from one chapter to another. I found myself wanting to know why the killer had chosen her friend, and if this was done on purpose what was the message that was trying to be sent. It honestly was a roller coaster of a ride, more questions than answers and that is what I love in a crime thriller.
Nikki is a great special agent so reading a story again following this character really brought back memories of how good the first two books were as well. I find Nikki to be a very likeable lead protagonist and that continues to be shown throughout. What adds to this book is we get to know more about Nikkis childhood as Emily was around for her after her parent’s murder so we get to read flashbacks also, which really adds to her character and help to provide a greater narrative around that event as it’s something we had prior knowledge about.
Honestly I had absolutely no idea who the killer was, I had my suspicions on why they were killing and my suspicion were correct but who it was I genuinely had zero I ideas. That is rare for me and that is what I love about crime books! You can see the motive often before you can see the criminals and that makes it epic. It really allows you to feel like you’re part of the investigation and also part of Nikki’s mindset.
As per usual it’s graphic it’s fun it's not a light read but it’s very easy one to get managed to do it in one sitting as I really did love this book.
If I say anymore about this book I will end up giving away spoilers by accident so all I will say is trust no one as per usual and enjoy it. If you haven’t read book 1 . The girl in the snow or 2. Her perfect grave do so first!!! 5 stars easy one today. Recommended to all like minded crime thriller lovers.
Thank you to netgalley, Donna Perry and the publishers for the digital advance copy of lost angels in exchange for my fair and honest opinions.
Lost Angels was an amazing book in the Nikki Hunt series although I'm not quite sure why this book was called so. Nothing in the title was close to suggest plot. Nonetheless the plot was twisted & gripping. Nikki comes face to face with the monster who's been hounding her & the cases get very personal. Frost is a serial killer who has tormented Nikki since many years. This book finally laid to rest some questions about Frost I may have had. This book made me feel very sorry for Nikki, for the people she lost , for the sadness in her life. I think as a character she's one of the strongest & smartest protagonist in a suspense series. She's not foolhardy & rushing in towards danger but takes the time to calculate her decisions. I like that level-headed ness about her & that's why I love thos series. The plot hit close to home for Nikki & it was interesting to see her navigate her way through the mess & heartbreak. In all, this is a brilliant book of an outstanding series! Thank you NetGalley, Bookouture & Stacy Green for an arc!
Another brilliant instalment in this absolutely amazing series. I couldn't put this one down. Engaging. Enthralling. Suspenseful. Wonderful. Loved. Loved. Loved this one.
Another exciting and compelling police procedural from Stacy Green in her Nikki Hunt series. It is full of mystery, peril, twists, turns, red herrings and also features plenty of intrigue and drama. There's never a dull moment from first line to last. I highly recommend it if you enjoy well woven police procedurals with twists that take you by surprise and enough going to on to keep you thoroughly engaged throughout.
I would like to thank Netgalley and Bookouture for an advance copy of Lost Angels, the third novel to feature FBI Agent Nikki Hunt of the Minnesota Bureau.
When Nikki goes to a murder site she realises that she knows the victim, her childhood friend Annemarie Mason, but it is Annemarie’s apartment that surprises her as she has been tracking a serial killer and seemed to know she might be next. A photo of Nikki’s mum left there implies that the killer has an unhealthy interest in her and her family.
I thoroughly enjoyed Lost Angels which is an engrossing read with several twists. It is told from Nikki’s point of view so the reader can live the investigation with her. The novel seems to be a never ending series of reveals designed to draw the reader further in and it worked for me. This is not surprising as Nikki and the team start from zero on identifying the killer, so every little nugget of information discovered adds to the picture. I must admit that I got to the motive much quicker than she did, but this did not spoil my enjoyment of the novel as there are plenty of events and surprises to keep most readers entertained and reading.
If you really want to nitpick, much of the plot is unlikely but who cares? It’s entertaining, engrossing and compulsive and I read it in one sitting, desperate to know what was coming next.
Lost Angels is a good read that I have no hesitation in recommending.
Wow! That was an intense, pages had to be kept turning, read. From book 1 of the Nikki Hunt Series, Girls in the Snow, we're aware of the serial killer Frost and that Nikki feels a connection to the case, that it's somehow personal, but she can't put her finger on why. Well here in Book 3, Lost Angels, Frost strikes again, and even more with the latest victim, Annmarie, Nikki’s high-school best friend, she and her team begin to believe she just may be the connection.
And with that in your mind, even the scenes meant for showing character growth, personal relationships and family bonding, during which you do come to love the characters more, build your connection, there's no exhale...you know how in the movies the music starts and you get the feeling something's about to happen? Well because of the evidence there's a connection between Frost and Nikki even these scenes feel like that! The music is about to start...
Through each revelation, by investigating the case and by her personal discoveries we realize more and more that Nikki was right, it's personal. Why, who is he to her?... and you're on edge completely right up to his endgame. Moments of action, heart stopping and one gut punch this story is an edge of your seat, peak through fingers journey.
Will Nikki have learned lessons she'll carry with her into Book 4 Girl In The Ground coming Dec 1? We shall see, fingers crossed yes, but not all, because I think some of her reactions and actions help her solve her cases. Highly recommend this book, the entire Nikki Hunt series!
Having an encounter with a serial killer is scary but, having an encounter with a serial killer who has a personal vendetta against you is scarier.
Omg! What a rollercoaster of emotions and adrenaline rush of a cat and mouse chase. This has got to be my favorite book from this series(provided I haven't read the latest entry yet)
Once again, i'm begging the universe to send a guy like Rory in my life.
