Written by USA Today Bestselling Author Cassie AlexandraSage Parker.A naively sweet girl from the other side of the tracks. She gave me her innocence and walked away with a piece of my heart. Before the world crushed the rest of it. Life can leave you cold, especially when you're dealt a shitty hand. I've done things I'm not proud of and knew there would one day be consequences. Little did I know that day was just around the corner and that she'd end up deceiving me like no other. I never imagined I'd face Caden Wolf again. Not after one mind-blowing week at summer camp. Now he's back in my life and sexier than ever. He's also dangerous… in more ways than one. I have some important choices to make and can't allow my feelings for him interfere with what's right. I'm just not wired to turn the other cheek, especially when a child's life is in danger. Unfortunately, it also means risking my own and betraying the one man who still leaves me confused, breathless, and always wanting more. A stand-alone MC Romance with no cheating or cliffhanger. It's part of the Gold Vipers (Jensen) series and contains language, violence, and steamy adult romance. This is a work of fiction and is not meant to be a true depiction of a motorcycle club. It was written for entertainment only.
Loved it as I have with this whole series. I hope there are still more to come or even do a series with the rival MC.
Caden and Sage met when they were just teenagers at camp and fell for each other but they were two different sides of the tracks. Each never forgetting the other they moved on.
Caden become part of the MC club and is raising his niece Phalen. Sage is a school teacher and Phalen's teacher. Caden's brothers ex girlfriend is a nutcase and becomes a big problem in more than one way.
Can two people from totally different backgrounds have a chance?
Warning: talk of child molestation, violence and sex.
Caden Wolf and Sage were once upon a time sweethearts at summer camp before losing touch (each believing that they were ghosted by the other when camp drew to a close). Years later, Wolf is a Gold Viper taking care of Phalen, his niece, and Sage just happens to be her teacher. There is clearly still some strong attraction there after all these years, but once Sage starts to believe that Phalen is living in a very dangerous situation, she reports it to Child Services who coming knocking on the Gold Viper's door. Later, Sage finds out that nothing is quite as it seems and that Caden is not the enemy she mistook him to be. Trigger warning for discussion of SA of a child.
This was, for me, another copy and paste story. It resembles some of the other stories in the series too much to be captivating and I sort of found myself wishing it would be over.
I love this series! I wait not so patiently for each new book and am so happy when a new one comes out! Caden and Sage are so good together. I love that Phalen means so much to both of them. Hoss made me cry. I recommend this series when someone wants a biker series. Please keep writing them.
Would love to see more about the Gold Bikers. I really enjoyed Betraying the biker. Nice to see a family biker story. Rather steamy but the plot was good and it's not a cliff hanger.
Hope she writes more like this...enjoyed it so much I would love to be a Beta reader for Caddie Alexander.
I thought it was a great book like the other ones. I like how they're a family and help each other. I would recommend this book to all my friends. Can't wait for the next one.
I always feel a rush of joy when I finish your books. You are very clever with your storylines. Wolf and Sage made a great couple. I would like to recommend this book and series. In my opinion I think starting at the first book makes it more fun.
Once again, love the storyline, love the characters, never want to the stories to end, but the horrible editing just kills me every time!! Please do yourself a favor and get someone new to edit your books! You’re worth it!!
My heart broke for Phalen but gosh was Wolf amazing! He knew just what to do, a true natural. And Sage was sweet but a little naive, yet perfect for Wolf and Phalen.
Really enjoyed reading this book just as much as the previous nine and highly recommend that you read them all. Looking forward to reading what's next in line.
