READ IT BECAUSE Get an insight into different ways the Sisterhood venerates the God-Emperor, and how many can serve Him in their own esoteric manner.
THE STORY On the cemetery world of Letum, hidden by deadly storms, an ancient and mysterious sisterhood venerates the Emperor in their own esoteric manner. For Sister Superior Augusta of the Order of the Bloody Rose, sent to retrieve a sacred text from a vessel crashed upon the planet, these strange sisters are disquieting. Yet when events spiral out of control, Augusta may discover that they all work to the God-Emperor's great design in their own ways.

I really like the Warhammer 40k stories where the heroes of the story are close the people of today (and Orks...!) and Danie Ware continues to knock it out of the park with the stories of the Sisters of Battle and their adventures.
In this, they are searching for a crashed ship on a planet where the local sisters are peaceful, mostly die young, and have some very odd rituals. Is something else going on?
"The image in the great Sol-facing window was not Him in His full glory, armoured and bearing His bright and flaming sword - it was Him as He would be, ancient and enthroned in cables."
