Keita is in love with his friend from high school (with whom he has recently ~reunited with), Ryuujirou, but he thinks Ryuujirou isn’t gay, so he just goes out looking for other people who are kinda like Ryuujirou that he can have sex with, where “kinda like Ryuujirou” = ノンケ.

But, and here is the TWIST (ready yourself this is nuts), Ryuujirou is NOT ノンケ. Truly the most unexpected in a BL manga. Anyway he just said so because he first found out that that’s Keita’s type, and he wanted to get with Keita. This misunderstanding drags on for most of the book, with Ryuu being like “when will he love me” and Keita being like “I can never be with him” and neither of them talking about it. Instead Keita looks for other people to fuck and Ryuu gets jealous.

Eh, as expected, they bumble their way to an understanding, and everything ends up hunky-dory. There’s nothing here that stands out to me. I think the hook was supposed to be that it’s funny, but its humor wasn’t for me, so it doesn’t leave a lasting impression.

Overall it’s just normal basic BL, with even more basic (classic?) BL hands. Jesus, but Ryuu’s hands are enormous. He could pick up an 18 wheeler with those hands, and have room for a couple shopping bags full of groceries.

Keita is on the hunt for love, but he always seems to get dumped. His friend since high school, Ryujiro (Ryu), though is always there to pick up the pieces and tend to his wounds. Truth is Keita is actually in love with Ryu, but Ryu is straight so Keita has been seeking other men to replace him. Ryu is a nice guy who's even willing to have sex with Keita when he got drunk and said he might die from loneliness. Ryu is so kind and caring towards him that Keita can't help getting the wrong idea...

This is just a classic case of two idiots who love each other, but think their love is unrequited so they keep everything in with a splash of just two bros helping each other out by fucking LOL. And maybe it's a spoiler that Ryu is also in love with Keita, but I feel like it's obvious from the very beginning. The art's a bit unsettling in some parts, like there are some aspects I like about it and some aspects I don't, but overall I mean it's good art. Just not my fave all the time. There's not much else to say about this tbh. I enjoyed it and I think finding out Ryu's side of things makes everything so much funnier about their situation. They're clowns the both of them.
